Belly dance class and bus surfing help to stop falling overs. XD

Demonskid 02-14-2016 05:31 PM

o3o dk's belly does flops.. and jello wiggles

nickjr 02-15-2016 01:22 AM

... jello wiggles... that image......

Demonskid 02-15-2016 10:50 AM

Think of that girl from the Foamy the Squirrel series.. the Jiggly Butt episode (if you've seen it, if not GO WATCH xD)

Tam I am 02-15-2016 05:52 PM

*grabs my belly with both hands and makes it jiggle*

I could do that even when I was ten pounds underweight and showing all my ribs.

Den 02-15-2016 07:12 PM

I jiggle all over. lol

so I always have to carry my phone in my jacket pocket orz I don't like jeans or anything resembling jeans (despite what my avatar's wearing; I switched to the non-sparkly Gala Pants ASAP on UF because they looked more like sweatpants lol) because they're too stiff for me haha plus I've found maybe two pairs in my life that don't pinch me where it matters when I sit or run...

I don't trust my jacket pockets, they are not deep enough, it always falls out after I take a few steps.

Den 02-16-2016 01:02 AM

I usually prefer hoodies, for that reason. and I don't like the kind that have zippers all the way down, because the pockets are never deep enough.

RedRum 02-16-2016 01:28 AM

The zippered hoodies are what I was referring to not trusting.
I don't like the pullovers with the large double sided pocket either, in the third grade I lost a pendant in one of those while on a field trip.

Den 02-16-2016 05:44 AM

Funny, I like that type of hoodie best... I also tend to shove a whole lot of stuff into the pocket, so that may be part of it... >.> *is a bit of a packrat*

Demonskid 02-16-2016 01:33 PM

I prefer pull over hoodies as well. o3o kangaroo pockets ftw.. they holds my kindle x3

Witchchylde 02-16-2016 03:33 PM

I like cardigans, probably a holdover from watching Mr Rogers' neighborhood when I was little.

Tam I am 02-16-2016 03:37 PM

I like zipper hoodies. They're easier to regulate temperature in. XD I had one from back in the eighties that had such beautiful deep pockets. Not the patch kind. Wore that thing to death.

Time for Mr. Safety pin. :D

That isn't mockery. I really like my safety pins. So useful.

Haha, I had three safety pins decorating my dark grey jeans, now it's down to one because the other two are in use by my print out backpack decor hehe.
I might relieve them of that job, one backpack is destined for the trash while on the other the print out is bent and worn.

Says the woman who doesn't freeze when outdoors, even on the hottest day of the year. lol

Demonskid 02-16-2016 07:05 PM

o3o you guys did know that Mr Rogers was a child beater right? makes it funny cause he was the star of a kids show.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e2Mn3tH92Y4

ouo enjoy the song i posted!

RedRum 02-17-2016 12:56 AM

Be careful what you believe DK, there have been false claims made of Mr. Rogers.
For example, it was once rumored that the reason he always wore those sweaters was because his arms were covered in naval tats and that he was an A-list naval assassin.

Glitch 02-17-2016 01:43 AM

Mr Rogers was a wonderful man, people just want something to be not awesome about him

Den 02-17-2016 05:15 AM

Indeed... It's the same sort of thing with other awesome people, like David Bowie... Not even a week after he'd passed, people started posting stuff on facebook about him being abusive, and I was sitting there going "Good grief, people. At least wait until he's been gone for a year before stirring the pot!"

littl3chocobo 02-17-2016 05:19 AM

if one is to make a claim they should be able to back it up XD

Demonskid 02-17-2016 10:44 AM

It was something told to me when I was little. (while he was still alive) Mom wouldn't let me watch the show because of it.

Den 02-17-2016 06:30 PM

Mother doesn't always know best.

XD Somebody managed to track down a package of diaper pins for me, and they're now all over the place, including holding the button on my purse. I've also got an old style metal headed diaper pin that I picked up from the sidewalk. It's holding an assortment of ribbons and tags on the side of my purse.

Tam I am 02-17-2016 09:39 PM

I just get heatstroke. Even when I was skinny I did.

*startles* For the first time today, I have cold hands!

And what is your source's source. A child will believe anything, unfortunately.
When I was little my mother handled a fear I had of a spider crawling up in my bed by spraying around my bed with some of her body mist and telling me that spiders avoided chemicals.
It took me YEARS to realize she'd BSed that.
Just saying.

My safety pins aren't the diaper variety but I do believe I found one of them on the ground. Their very first use was for my werewolf Halloween mask my senior year of high school, it was too big.
I'd love to have a whole mess of them, they are so useful.

nickjr 02-18-2016 05:05 AM

This could go under the broader "misconception" category :P There are a ton of non-debatable misconceptions floating around the world for various reasons, most of them communication-based (language barriers, misunderstandings, poor wording, the "telephone" game (or whatever it's called) effect, cognitive biases). Some of them finally poof as time goes on, but many persist. And mothers are usually very protective of their children, so they're gonna be extra cautious. It's definitely understandable if the mom is a typical mom in the sense that she really loves her kids.

I really hope I don't need to pull up examples of the many non-debatable common misconceptions ;P

Demonskid 02-18-2016 11:16 AM

._. Like I'm suppose to have asked her where she heard it. Asking her now would be pointless because she doesn't remember much of my childhood. =w=,

OuO We played the Telephone game in second grade! We lined up around the class room, the teacher would start by whispering something into someones ear and we were to pass it to the person next to us so on so forth. The person at the end of the line was to say out loud what they heard, and it was Completely different from what the teacher started with. xD

Awww. I'd offer to share, but all my big, really useful ones are the diaper pins (which are all hard at work, I think. XD). The other ones I have are all those little cheap things that they sell by the package of hundreds.

Oh, and the tag holder round one that my stuffed pony's wearing for an earring. XD

I do that, too, if I'm not careful. My internal thermostat's all out of whack.

Tam I am 02-19-2016 01:14 AM

I seem to have stopped freezing as much now that I've gotten fat. But I overheat even worse now. Especially when the hot flashes hit.

TheNeonChaos 03-06-2016 06:33 PM

Sorry if this seems weird, but what happened to Unifaction? O.o My family and I left a rough situation, and I JUST got the internet back and it isn't there?

nickjr 03-07-2016 01:59 AM

They're dead.
