Yeah, I mean, sometimes materialism and principle are in competition with one another... as a matter of fact they are quite often in competition with one another... it is just up to the individual to decide where to draw the line.

Haha no, I understand that, but when it comes to things that you don't need... that makes it a little easier. Obviously if you can only afford to go to Wal-Mart to buy your food etc., that becomes more problematic.

Heh, it's funny, but it is really quite sad, too... big stores like that can afford to outsource for labor and undercut people in the process in order to get their prices low, but they also kill local businesses who have to pay real prices for their products and actually pay their employees.

Haha, well I did a lot of not eating in high school. I mean, it isn't as it sounds - I wasn't anorexic or anything, and if I was hungry, I did eat - I just would spend so much time on the computer and whatnot, that I would get distracted and forget or something XD. So fear not. I know exactly what you mean.

My new job has had me eating a lot more, now, too... since I get free food during my breaks.

I work in a resturant(of sorts) so I actually eat less than at my last job. but we also get a lot less breaks, or at least I do, so that's part of it.

I get half an hour and we have good food XD.

I can sometimes get a half hour, and I like our food well enough, but I can't really afford to eat there every day

Yeah that doesn't make sense ot me for restaurants not to let their employees eat their food, they just throw it away at the end of the day anyway....

ours is a sit down place, so they don't toss much, but yeah, I usually ahve to grovel to a manager if I'm starving, then they might feed me.
