My dolls are so spoiled - my other toys are jealous. It's not pretty. BUT! My girls do share their toys, although when I got my new puki, Tutu was a miffed that she had to share her clothing.

well as long as it's water based and easy to work with it should be fine
Also it makes it easier if you can get an old floating head to practice on That's what I did helped me a lot :3 |
water base acrylics are good too, that's what I used for the more rich colors on my doll for the eyelashes and such.
