That would hurt like mad. I thought my foot tattoo was bad...

Mine hurt some when it was being done actually on top of my shoulder.

Mine hurt barely on the back of my ankle at the tendon.

I nearly passed out on my foot one...but then again, there's no real muscle there it's all bones, nerves, and thin stuff...

The top of my foot...it hurt like mad...but I barely felt my wrist tattoo...

Hmmm....well, top of foot hurting makes sense. Would hit quite a few bones along with nerve and muscle. Not much cushion to help with it.
