Oh! That's either "Time Enough at Last" with Burgess Meredith, or "Where is Everybody?" with Earl Holliman. :D Both Season 1 episodes.
Dah! >X{ I did it again..
<:] Though there are non-psychological thriller/horror episodes in the Twilight Zone that have more fantasy elements and are a little sweeter. As a Twilight Zone authority on the subject of the show, ^-^ I can recommend Night of the Meek, that's a feel-good Christmas episode about a sad discount store Santa who makes a wish and becomes a real Santa. :]
Or, Once Upon a Time which is a sort of silly, time travelling sort of episode where a janitor from the 1890's travels to what WAS the present year in the show, 1961. x}
Though a lot of Twilight Zone episodes have that creepy and mysterious and darker sort of vibe to them, not all of them are scary. :] But there are some scary ones. O.O Those are some of my favorites tho. <x} Not a horror buff, but I sort of like being creeped out with a good psychological spook. Thas just me tho. :]

I hate it when I love a minor character because it feels like there's never enough good quality fan stuff for them! It's near impossible to find more than one decent NightcrawlerxWolverine fanfic... And fan art is even harder to find. >:( Back when I was actually inspired to write, when I found myself a art of a fandom that was either too small or dead, I would write my own fanfics and make my own fandom content... But I haven't felt like writing much lately ;-;

I really enjoyed that episode of The Twilight Zone! In my opinion, I find that older shows/movies are much scarier than the new ones, or those "slasher" ones. The old movies relied more on f*cking with your mind than they did special effects, which I both appreciate and DESPISE at the same time lol.

I think the movies being in black and white make them feel more ominous to me too. I don't know why. I just feel nervous when I watch a movie in black and white!

Witchchylde 09-25-2019 07:12 PM

That could be related to the common theory that most people dream in black and white, so it might feel as if you're experiencing a dream from wich you aren't able to wake yourself. Personally, my dreams have always been in vividcolor.

Ava 09-25-2019 08:02 PM

I've always had dreams in color!
:o

I didn't even know it was possible to dream in black and white!
But I think a black and white dream would scare me.

I don't know what it is... but something about black and white movies really freaks me out.
Even if the movie isn't supposed to be "scary"

MonBon 09-25-2019 08:18 PM

My dreams def have color :O

Ava 09-25-2019 08:49 PM

I can't imagine a dream without color!
It'd be like a dream without sound!

mdom 09-25-2019 09:01 PM

Some dreams I can't talk and it scares me

Ava 09-25-2019 09:11 PM

!!!!

I've had dreams where I can't scream D:
Have you ever had dream that you go to turn on the lights, and they don't work??
Those are the scariest to me because I'm afraid of the dark...

And every time I try to turn on a light in my dream and it doesn't work, I always end up panicking and my dream turns into a nightmare!

mdom 09-25-2019 09:20 PM

go away dreams with no voice >:UUU

oh nooo D:
For some reason it's always day in my dreams? Or night, but well lit.

Witchchylde 09-25-2019 09:22 PM

My worst dreams seem to involve being a passenger in a car and unable to get out or know where I'm being taken.

Biomecha 09-25-2019 09:26 PM

I sometimes dream of riding along a cliff and the driver miscalculates the turn and we wind up flying off and I wake up before landing.

Ava 09-25-2019 09:33 PM

Oof!

Once, I had a dream that my dad was driving on a cliff, and drove off the cliff and into the ocean...

And you know what? I wasn't even scared. I was just like, "WTF DAD!? You can't even drive correctly!"
Which is weird, because if I dream about the lights not working, I panic...
Like...? Brain is like, "We'll drive off a cliff into the ocean, no problem! BUT THE LIGHTS BETTER F*CKING WORK!!!"

mdom 09-25-2019 09:42 PM

Of course! How will you see underwater??

So Bio dreams of being Thelma&Louise? Hm...

Merskelly Metalien 09-25-2019 09:59 PM

I've had several dreams where I accidentally stole my family's cars. >w>;

mdom 09-25-2019 10:09 PM

Do it in real life so you can stop dreaming about it

Biomecha 09-25-2019 10:10 PM

I've never actually seen the movie, only know of that one scene.
