Dybbuk are spirits that possess dead bodies. So unless your gunfire is actually tearing the bodies apart they'll keep getting back up. We'd need to destroy the bodies or exorcise the spirits.
|
Well if you want to get extremely technical about it, 7.62x25mm is more of an armor piercing round. Pretty good at leaving the body intact, so Lev's current gun is ill suited to keeping them down. So...perhaps we should be on the move then.

Effffffff. I think I'm needed? XD

That would be weird as uh...weird. If they kill you they can posesss you I believe. hm...never mind. wrong part of thread. *is tired.

So...making our way to an armory by accident, or to where we came from? Dante can carry another person on his bike >.>
|
I say back the way we came. But I don't want to call the shots. Not my call.
And Funk, it's cool. If Lev dies, I would totally want to play a possessed Lev. Or maybe a hapless Dybbuk that just can't seem to catch a break...or a decent body. |
Oh, before we get out, I'm making Dante meet a -certain- Dybbuk.
|
Well, either we get back to the manhole and Fee leads us to either the army (bad) or an armory (better) or she manages to find out where exactly they are and they come up somewhere else? As for fighting, Jeanne is a theurgist and could cause some decent harm to the dead bodies but probably not that many at once. If the sewers were small enough Rue might be able to fight them back some, a rapier isn't great for decapitation but it IS a mercury alloy and would probably cut through flesh eventually.
I think we might need to wait until at least Cuppy is back online. |
Given enough time and ammo, we could eventually cut them all to pieces. If we're looking at a hundred, I think we could all do it. Fortunately we're not all sitting at a table rolling dice over this. And since Lev can't go all Dybbukian unless he dies, that might just give him a reason to wade in to the thick of them and start backhanding them in the brain with his hand-stake.

I'm gonna have to go to bed...feel free to run with one of the ideas I put up there if things get moving. I think, survival-wise, it might be best to come up somewhere else that has weapons :p
|
Imma be gone tomorrow morning until maybe 9am (yes, UNTIL 9am. Meaning, i'm getting up at 6. In the summer. Argh.)
|
No, since they're "zombieism" isn't biological in nature. If you got killed by them though....
:p |

So hungry, yet...no appetite. Anyways, ello all x____X;

Weird, somehow I missed about 20 posts when I opened the thread this morning.
Anyway, it might be best for you guys to retreat. None of you are equipped properly to deal with this kind of threat. Jeanne could probably be the most help, if she can tap into offensive theurgies she never knew she had. ;) How did Shealtiel and Michael end up on their own together, when they're the only two kitted out for this sort of fight? :p Edit: Oh, and it'll take upwards of a minute for the Dybbuk to repossess a body, so killing them will at least buy you some time. Salone, maybe aim for their legs? :D |
