Lol. No lies, one of my friends and I actually do try to fit in Derpy themed lyric snippets to actual songs once in a while. There are 2-3 Christmas songs, Hungry Like the Wolf, and Hotel California so far.

I'm okay. My peel off base coat betrayed me and I lost a few of my nails before I was ready though. So gonna try to re-paint them between jobs.

Ah geeze, I really need to make up a nail polish emergency kit with all major necessary items. I forgot to find/buy a good quicm dry top coat, so it's gonna take FOREVER for my polish to dry enough for me to do anything...

*turns fan on directed to your fingers*

I think (over an hour after I started painting) they may be dry or dry enough. I mean, I'll probably just remove the polish later tonight unless it doesn't chip at work. If it doesn't chip at all then I'm giving it a top coat and leaving it for a few days since I like the color alright.

What color is it?

It's a pink/green iridescent (possibly duochrome?) polish over a black base. Pretty, but I applied it too fast, so it has little bumps in it.

I love duochrome and multichrome ALMOST as much as I love linear holo. But not quite.

I mean, holo is rainbow. Duochrome/multichrome is pretty color shifting, but not rainbow.
And as we know... rainbow > not rainbow

But I like scattered holo far less than linear holo.

Basic explanation: holo (short for holographic) is essentially sparkly rainbow. Scattered holo is basically just random rainbow sparkles. Linear holo gives a fairly clear kind of rainbow flame/flare effect when you move the nails.

my power went out last night. twice.

the first was about 8, but it came back like 10ish minutes later. so yaay!

the second time was sometime after 11. the email thanking me for reporting the outage was timestamped 11:20. they said they power would be back by 1:40, but when i woke up and my phone told me it was 4:30 in the morning (yikes!)... my clock was flashing almost 1:30, which meant the power came back about 3 a.m.

equipment failure. goodie. i love this hot & humid weather.
