Zero shook his head and made another noise, before he winced.

"I think he's broken," Trick whimpered. "B broke him, brother! That meanie broke our daddy-!"

He got up and stumbled off of the bed.

"Where is he!?" He snapped. "I'm gonna go beat him up-!"

"Trick get back here!" Treat said, crawling to the edge of the bed. "He's not in the same room...I don't think. But Zero needs help!"

"Who else is gonna do it!?" Trick snapped. "Far-!? Where is he, anyways!? He's not even here-!"

"They sent him off, remember?" Treat said. "Only Mello's come back."

He turned back to Zero.

"Far will come back to help...right?" He pleaded.

Zero frowned at him in complete confusion.

"I don't care of Mello's back!" Trick snapped. "Far needs to be here! He needs to fix Zero... he needs to fix everything!"

He threw himself onto the floor and began to cry loudly.

"Trick!" Treat slipped off the bed and ran over to his brother.

He reached out and hesitated a moment before he pet his sibling's hair.

"Trick, you have to stop...we can't upset Zero." Treat begged.

Trick wiped at his eyes and looked up at his brother, before he rushed over and leaped onto the bed, throwing himself into Zero's arms.

Zero looked at the boy in alarm, before he slowly began to hug the sobbing child, petting his hair.

Treat watched them a moment before he got up and walked over- climbing onto the bed with them.

"...It's going to get better now." He said. "It has to."

Zero let out a small noise - it might have been a sigh - before he looked up at Treat and tried to smile... as if trying to reassure him.

--Scene change--

A bright light flooded into his eye lids, even though they were closed. He could hear the sound of an IV drip and could feel a numbness in his body that meant he was under some sort of pain killer.

"Mmm- ngh?" Mello's eyes slowly fluttered open, the room beginning to come into blurry focus as he looked around in confusion- his head foggy.

"Morning, Sleeping Beauty," The voice of Indigo said and as Mello looked over, he saw the dark-haired young man peering down at him.

"Gah!" Mello jumped a little and winced- looking down at his IV. "What?"

"It appears you were in a bike accident," Indigo informed. "...While saving Next's life from some creep guy who was kidnapping him, that is. Next is fine... so is that creepo and the other kid he had with him."

"Other kid?" Mello held his head. "Next is okay? I wanna see him!"

He started pulling off his blankets.

"He's fine-!" Indigo informed, trying to push him down. "Barely remembers anything... hit his head or something but they said he'll be fine. I'll go get him, but you need to stay here. As for the other kid... Next said he was in the van with him. The kid still hasn't woken up."

"I don't remember another kid!" Mello squirmed as Indigo tried to keep him down. "I have to get up! Next...and Near! I left my husband!"
