me too. if I could only learn one style of dance, it would be swing. I tried to take lessons once but then the person I was going to go with backed out.

I am bitter, there's a 40s era dance next month and I've no one to go with :( and even if I did they wouldn't dance with me :((

I was lucky that in college my freshman year they offered Ballroom Dance as a physical education course. Since i had to take two semesters of something I jumped all over that class so now I can Eastcoast, Westcoast, Lindyhop swing as well as a variety of other things...that have no real application in life any more LOL

we have a lot of dance classes at BYU. C: I'm taking social dance next fall, which I'm pretty sure is just a "go meet cute boys" class. they'll probably teach the basics of a bunch of different styles.
