Kali_Namir 06-17-2012 06:39 PM

I have a Kindle, and I have yet to actually buy any E-Books (Harry Potter will be the first)...Although I've got over 100 free books!

foxotanashi 06-17-2012 07:00 PM

That what is mostly on mine: Free books <3

Kali_Namir 06-17-2012 07:05 PM

Lols. I got like ALL the free Fairy Tale books!!!

foxotanashi 06-17-2012 08:13 PM

I have more of the classical ones on mine. It think I have one of the fairy tale books.

Kali_Namir 06-17-2012 08:17 PM

I've also got a TON of the classics. But Fairy Tales have always been my favorites!

foxotanashi 06-17-2012 08:20 PM

Some fairy tales just have such nice morals and hidden messages that children don't pick up on!

Kali_Namir 06-17-2012 08:23 PM

They really do. Although I love looking at the ones that Disney has re-done and then reading the original and seeing what major changes they made...

AKA: The step-sister's cutting off parts of their feet in Cinderella...The little mermaid didn't get the guy and instead turned into sea foam...and a few others that I can't remember at the time...

foxotanashi 06-17-2012 08:26 PM

Well I don't think they want to give the kids nightmares xD
hehe

Kali_Namir 06-17-2012 08:39 PM

No, but The Little Mermaid is supposed to make you learn a lesson...Not that if you disobey your parents and ask an evil witch for help you could end up with your prince charming...

foxotanashi 06-17-2012 08:41 PM

Hehe good point. All they want in the disney movies is the happy ending.

Kali_Namir 06-17-2012 08:45 PM

Yeah. Although there are two lovely Disney movies that teach a BRILLIANT message!!!

Beauty & The Beast: Judge not someone by their outside appearance, but by what lies in their heart.

Mulan: Don't be afraid to fight for what you believe in, even if it means facing down a terrible foe.

foxotanashi 06-17-2012 09:18 PM

Those two are both very good works!

Kali_Namir 06-17-2012 09:19 PM

They are my two favorites...and in that order...

hyjin 06-17-2012 09:24 PM

*falls on pillow*
i am exhausted

foxotanashi 06-17-2012 09:27 PM

Kali, do you like Kingdom Hearts? If you havn't played it, it would be a good game for you to play. It has a lot to do with disney.

Hyjin, Aw, I'm sorry. Why are you so tired?
