I spent a large portion of last night attempting to make an arting playlist.
I ended up in the youtube black hole, but my intentions were pure at the start of this adventure.

Youtube is a black hole! Never use it for productivity! Except tutorials which will have to going down that rabbit hole....

Also, put in an order for some larger safety eyes. If they arrive before the end of the month, I will finish a fox. If not, I will probably be close. Made the head last night (except for stitching up a few areas), started on the tail today, but only have 5 rows done. Will see how much I get done tonight and tomorrow.

I found the tutorial I used to learn short-row heels for knitting socks ages ago, so when I get fed up with the tediousness of making wefts for a wig, I've been working on toe-up socks for the coming fall and winter.

I should make some of those soon...I have plenty of sock yarn and a really nice pattern...
Several nice patterns actually, but most of them have stitch patterns that can't really be adapted very well for my big feet. XP

I'm just doing basic knit in the round socks. 'cause the yarn I'm using is varigated, and I don't wanna muck with getting fancy.

Basic knit is always a good classic that never goes out of style.
I have a sort of lacy style I want to make, but also want to do some basic ones eventually.
Actually, I want to make more toeless socks for lounging at home.

I know of a pedicure sock pattern from Knitty... *goes to find it*

ETA: Found it. I would personally do a short-row heel, but that's just my preference.

That pattern is irrelevant to me just because I loom knit.
However, the pattern I do use does have short-row heels. I made one last year, but got distracted and never had a chance to finish the pair. And I've since lost the information for how many rows I had done on the foot and leg sections.

Unfortunately, the only craft store likely to carry it around here is one I only get to on very rare occasion. I'll have to check online for it. (Not that I need more yarn, but...)
Also, was hoping to finish my fox parts today, but ran out of the main yarn color. And then realized the eyes for it probably won't arrive until the end of the week at the earliest.
