"Do what?" Zero asked in surprise, looking back toward the twins.

"You look way...like you don't wanna look at us." Treat said- looking up at Zero with his large, sad eyes.

"Because I find it hard to not tell you things when you look at me like that," Zero croaked, frowning.

"...You're not gonna cry again are you?" Treat looked alarmed. "Why?"

"Because I don't want to hide things from you," Zero whispered. "But I know that I should."

Treat moved in and hugged Zero- looking up at him pleadingly.

"Don't hurt yourself." Treat said. "We're grown up...we don't want you to be sad."

Zero looked between the two for a moment before he informed, "K knows that Beyond wont come after us because... because he's dead. She killed him, but she doesn't want anyone to know because she will get in a lot of trouble."

"Killed!?" Treat breathed- his eyes going wide.

"He was brain dead," Zero informed, gently. "She thought it best to just let him go. But you two can't tell anyone... understand?"

Trick looked over at his brother, his eyes wide.

"Brain...but..." Treat blinked up at Zero- seeming fearful. "Far's brain isn't dying, is it?"

Zero's heart almost broke right there and he quickly pulled Treat to his chest. "Oh gosh no, sweetheart! Far is going to be just fine!"

"You won't let anyone hurt him, right?" Treat asked- clinging to Zero tightly. "He's not bad, he doesn't have to die!"

"I know, sweetheart!" Zero assured, kissing his forehead. "And K knows that! She wont let him die and she wont kill him, I promise!"

"Doctors save people, the don't kill them." Treat shivered. "What if my brain dies?"

"Sweetheart... listen to me," Zero said, pulling the boy away and looking down at him, their eyes locked. "Beyond did a lot of really bad things and he caused the death of someone K was very close to. That is why she did what she did. She isn't going to do that to anyone else... do you understand?"

"...Who?" Treat asked- his voice trembling.

"Near's brother, Naveen," Zero informed, gently. "K is the reason that Naveen and Near came to Wammy's in the first place... she and F."

"What?" Treat frowned. "I don't understand...how...who was...why?"

As Zero was about to reply he suddenly began to cough and Trick frowned.

"Stop making him talk!" He scolded his twin.

"Oh damn!" Treat burst. "I'm sorry!"

Zero waved his hand but continued to cough for a moment before Trick handed him a glass of water.

He downed it and took a moment to breathe, his eyes closed in pain.

"...This is bad." Treat shook his head. "I think we need you to see a doctor."

"You are a worrier," Zero croaked. "K said... this would... happen... if I don't rest my voice..."

"Then rest." Came a mumbled reply and the Asian boy and children blinked before slowly turning to see Far staring back at them with half-lidded eyes.

"F...Faa..." Zero whispered, his pained expression slowly turning into a smile.

Far smiled back sleepily.

"You look great." He said- his hand moving over to hold Zero's.

"Always," Zero replied, squeezing the bottle-blonde's hand weakly. "How are you feeling, Faa?"

"Like I was in a car crash...and then had a really bad nightmare that I couldn't seem to wake up from." Far sighed. "Did I hurt anyone this time?"

"No," Zero said, squeezing his hand a little tighter. "It was all me this time."

"I hurt you last time too." Far sighed. "Are the boys okay?"

"You misunderstood, Faa," Zero said, frowning slightly. "I meant that I was the one who hurt people."

"You hurt someone?" Far blinked. "You don't hurt anyone."

Far started to sit up- looking down at the IV in his arm. Treat scooted over to be closer to Zero and Far.

Trick was watching quietly... although usually a loud mouth, he also enjoyed just watching conversations happen.

"I wasn't myself," Zero whispered. "...I still am not."

"You are you." Far smiled again. "And I love you."

"...I love you too, Faa," Zero said, smiling weakly. He then looked toward the twins and opened his arms up for them.

Trick moved forward and curled up to his side instantly.

Treat hesitated a moment before slowly crawling over and taking his place at Zero's opposite side.

"...We're...like a little family." Far remarked.

"We're not like one, Far," Zero informed, smiling weakly. "...We are one."

Far smiled and leaned back.

"...I wish wasn't so tired for that." Far sighed.

"It's alright," Zero explained, reaching over to place a hand on the blonde's head. "It will take time."

Far reached up and placed his hand over Zero's.

"...Did I feed the kids?" Far asked. "I don't even think I got them extra clothes."

"You had us take a bath." Treat offered.
