*shudder* You should also invest in self-defense classes. I used to take karate, granted it was neatly ten years ago, but I still remember some of it.

I should of bought a cutco pocket knife or use my friends (but I have strength, this was at broad daylight. I did push him way and struggle but I got myself free

That's good. If you want to have the fright advantage, see if butterfly knives are legal where you are, and learn how to use them.

Yeah. Switchblades are illegal, at least in the states. But it doesn't matter how trustworthy a blade is if you can use it to frighten off people who mean you harm with out having to actually use the blade.
