HOW HAVE YOU SET WATER ON FIRE???????

Apparently, the pot I was using wasn't clean. I don't know what was in it before... But I put the water on to boil, turn around to start cutting some veggies, hear a FHOOM! and suddenly I'm really hot then really cold. Turn around and the top of the water is burning...

True that's very true i hadn't thought about that.... But the oh wow was being able to make water catch on fire.

It might be if you do it on purpose... But I don't think alcohol could do that... and

Alcohol and oil both catch on fire really really easily

and they float on water

That's what i would think but i wasn't sure since i've never done it.....

It was by accident... And I'm not really wanting to try again. It's just a sort of badge of honor for me.
