Err, I've been to Japan 3 times. In my opinion it's a lot nicer than most countries in Europe including the US. I've been all over. Maybe it's just me? I mean there are assholes everywhere but I really enjoy the Japanese culture and feel good there. I know at least going to school there is a lot harder and shitty than most other places but other than that there's not a lot of thing I feel uncomfortable about. They have this and that a little more visible than in Sweden where I live but it's not like you have to look and be there. I don't handle the language very good yet of course, but I understand a lot what people are talking about and I don't pronounce things cheesy like most "gaijin". Not to brag. xD My sister too has lived there for a year and plan on going back very soon. It's possible that I end up doing the same thing and if things go well I might "move" there. Yes I do now how difficult it is to stay there a long time without getting married but I'll sort it out.

It's not like any other country, if you have grown up there you should know. No country is the same. Some things might be similar but I think every place has it's own charm. It's not poop living somewhere else but Japan has something special that the others don't, not just manga. I find a lot of things interesting about the country, so don't get any weird ideas. I've pretty much grown up with parts of the culture myself so much is very natural to me. I feel like I have more in common with Japanese people than people here in Sweden. My way to think seems more odd here than it does over there it seems. I love the country very much, with or without manga. I just had to say that. Dx There are no other place I feel so strongly about. I'm not saying Japan is better than any other place. ( even if it probably is better than some places. lol ) But I think it's sad when people from Japan complains about how annoying it is when foreigners hype about their stuff. If they come drool all over you in school just give them the finger, seriously. It's okay to tell people it's enough. Actually I've had Americans drool all over me too for being Swedish. Apparently all guys here are gorgeous like princes and are all blonde. lol

LOL WALL OF TEXT

You don't have to reply see this more of a have a cookie and cup of tea and enjoy thing. lol...that was a weird thing to say...

I was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida.

Still here, and I'll probably never leave because there's no way out.

Poot 10-10-2010 05:25 PM

I live in the wonderful foreign land known as Georgia

Coda

*showers Duchess and Logan with tons of kanji*

XD I was more fluent before. Long disuse because of my lack of speaking partners where I live has actually dulled me a lot.

Logan 10-10-2010 10:56 PM

At least, Coda is around. <3

Indeed. Now there will be gratuitous amounts of Japanese being thrown back and forth.
