I have yet to completely explore that region, however, someone got me that game for my birthday, it was a little late since they had to go around to see if the game was legit or not
they asked me about it since I researched it a lot after accidentally buying a fake online, of a different pokemon game... :f-weep:

So, I could finally could use my Pokemon Colosseum Bonus Disc to get jirachi:f-smile:

o3o I never had the ability to get Jirachi in the first game. I didn't have the xBox or what ever was needed nor the Colosseum game.

I wonder how they'll do the Jirachi event this time for Ruby/Sapphire

also to get jirachi it was a long long long process. capture all pokemon, new and old. beat all trainers in the game, beat all gym leaders and elite four. then go to space station, talk to white stone, then talk to girl next to it and then talk to stone again... it takes ages

ouo lets... hope we won't need to do that with a wii game or something x'D

well part of the only reason I haven't played the game is that to get Jirachi you just have to get through the beginning tutorial and battle your rival and talk to the professor again and then catch 4 or 5 more pokemon
Then you put the disk either into a game cube or the wii
there is also a cable that connects the gameboy advance to either one of those systems
now that would have to trade up to pearl and those versions
that game would have to be completed which would allow you to move jirachi
then trade them to soul silver or heart gold and then send them up to one of the black or white games and then through the poke transporter to the bank

you can reset the game, and as long as you are willing to go through all those steps and playing two mini games one with pearl and the other when sending pokemon to black and white- I can't remember but I think one or both of those games have a limit on how many times you can do that in a day

Does anyone else notice the creepy and demonic purple dragon looking thing above the new Hoenn map? It's definitely a new location, so I'm wondering if it's the cause of the mega stones or if it's just a creepy death dragon. o.e

I got my Jirachi from a SS/HG event o3o, I like easy events like that

Mirage island was weird because it came and go depending on a random generated number for that day, there wasn't nothing special about it other than it having a few berry trees, and I believe in Emerald a couple of French artists with Smeargles. But it was damm cool finding it and none of your friends had Mirage Island on their game at the time. Oh and you could find Wynaut on the island too, which was sort of cool I guess... What's cool that the chances of having Mirage Island appear in your game was rarer than finding a shiny Pokemon in the wild.

I hope the island will be more special in ORAS, like increase chance of finding shiny Pokemon, or a legendary being there, form change, something!

The DS lite had a GBA port I think...At least I'm pretty sure I had a DS Lite. It definitely wasn't the first kind that came out, but I know I made sure I had a GBA port when I bought it because Pokemon is the most important!!!
