Nope, just a fortunate coincidence. I picked it for the musical association, and the fact that it sounds like "coder" is something that only came up later -- I always called myself a "programmer" (now "software engineer") and never a "coder" so I didn't even think of it.

I haven't read much in the way of manga but I do watch a lot of shows. Hubby and I watch a lot of dubbed anime but I also watch subbed of shows he doesn't wish to see at the moment (like SM: Crystal). :)

Sadly I dont think Coda has an anime yet.. =( Boys as the Prima Ballerina doesn't seem to be as popular as other things.

And yeah. I've noticed a lot of animes are 'magical garment girls' or 'harem' style.

i've seen more Life type anime more then magic girl anime xD

Have you seen Clannad? It has a slightly magical element to it buy my gawd. Do not watch it if you don't want to bawl your eyes out at least 5 times. XD (In 2 seasons) XD

I wanted to watch it but when I had netflix they only had the after story.
