A used first-gen PS3 is usually cheaper than a new latest-gen PS3 Slim.
Main reason I wish my PS3 could play PS2 games is because my TV doesn't have enough connections to hook up everything I want to plug into it, and the PS3 can upsample as well as output over HDMI. (The PS2 doesn't always have a great time when you have it hooked up with component video -- it wants to do progressive-scan output but not all games support it. The PS3 doesn't have that problem.) |
Well, I have an older tv and a monitor with HDMI, the HDMI monitor is currently only hooked up to the Retron 5 I have. x'D
