Pandora's neck is weird, and the painting is really sloppy if you look close at it (which is why we never published a high-res version of it).

@Coda: XD there are a lot of things wrong with it. But I want to venture and say its stylistic? I think the colors make up for what anatomy issues there are including the foreshortening.
