...Don't have much to talk about, but anyone know a good Enneagram link out there?

Really accurate haha

This marks a change in my personality. I used to be a lot more heavily T than F, but I've had a couple of major breakdowns over the last couple of years that have made me a lot more emotionally raw.

This has been my problem in the past couple years as well. The first time I took the MBTI was in senior year of high school. ADHD had /probably/ already manifested, but depressed and anxiety didn't fully emerge until about three years ago, so I currently lean a lot more towards INFP and 4 on the Enneagram than I used to (previous results tended more towards INTP and 5).

What do you mean?

Pessimisticat 06-17-2016 01:47 PM

INFJ! Although, I'm on the border between I and E, just a little more I.

Potironette 06-17-2016 01:56 PM

Took it again because I had nothing to do and ended up with something new: INTP-T

So, I've gotten: ISTP-T, INFP-T, and INTP-T xD

Edit: In reading INTP's stuff, I think the description fits me best of all the ones I've gotten. But I only ever act like an INTP around my sister. I'm not really comfortable just talking to other people I guess :/

Espy 06-17-2016 02:20 PM

INTPs generally don't talk much around other people anyways.

Unless we hit a topic we enjoy.

Then we /really/ start talking.

Potironette 06-17-2016 02:30 PM

Haha, for some reason I'm never really interested in a topic myself. And if someone brings up a topic, I might get suddenly interested in it xD. But I wouldn't really say anything unless I was comfortable talking with whoever said this or that o_o.

On another note, I think 16 personalities has a love affair with dashes (-) in their intro-to-the-personality pages.

Espy 06-17-2016 02:43 PM

o.O;; Link?

I was obviously an introvert back before college, but people started thinking I was an extrovert during freshman year. That was probably because I learned a /lot/ of things about...things...and basically tried to help way too many people.

But, nah, I still get drained pretty fast in social settings, and I basically "recharge" at home...or under my blankets...or just listening to music by myself. Might also have to do with the couple of mental illnesses I've, erm, acquired, in the past few years. ...Hm.

But if you mention videogames or music or weaponry or ~armor~ or certain other things, I can talk your ear off. Least, I'll go through several cups of tea before I'm done rambling. ADHD is silly.

"Overcoming this self-doubt stands as the greatest challenge INTPs are likely to face, but the intellectual gifts – big and small – bestowed on the world when they do makes it worth the fight." (https://www.16personalities.com/intp-personality)

"Unlike their Extraverted cousins though, INFPs will focus their attention on just a few people, a single worthy cause – spread too thinly, they’ll run out of energy, and even become..." (https://www.16personalities.com/infp-personality)

"...give ISTPs many happy years of building useful boxes – and admiring them from the outside." (https://www.16personalities.com/istp-personality)

"If these goals and principles are noble, ISFPs can act with amazing charity and selflessness – but it can also happen that people with the ISFP p..." (https://www.16personalities.com/isfp-personality)

"ESFPs are welcome wherever there's a need for laughter, playfulness, and a volunteer to try something new and fun – and there's no greater joy for ESFP personalities..." (https://www.16personalities.com/esfp-personality)

Maybe I'm just unlucky (or lucky), but I seem to be seeing dashes everywhere. It's probably a style thing of whoever was writing it?

Armor?

I took the MBTI test for a psych class in University. I remember the result being "INTJ". And then at the end of the class did it again ENTJ. In both cases, the graph thing showed the I/E bit as being right at the center, so that's not weird.

That was a few years ago. Went to the site in the first post here today, clicked stuff, then it said:

ENTP-A.

I have no idea what that -A is. But I am amused by the overall shift. I/E is still close-ish at 65/35, but definitely further off from before. (I am really good at talking to people, which likely skews results.) All the rest are pretty heavily slanted one way, so that one of the letters would flop completely over is interesting.

Potironette 06-17-2016 05:29 PM

"-A" is for "Assertive"
The other one, "T" is for "Turbulent"

I think depending on the environment and how I'm feeling at the time, the results, vary a bit. Especially for the moral questions. If people are around I'll probably pick the nicer options. Buuut if I'm by myself I'll pick the less kind ones :p.

*INTP-fistbump*

ENFP-T
Well, that is pretty much me. xD

Keylaleigh 07-11-2016 06:49 AM

I am a straight-up ENFP over here! I never got any fifth letter in my results... what exactly do they mean?

Potironette 07-20-2016 01:12 AM

A for Assertive and T for Turbulent.
