i might have a spare worm-chan, if you were interested

Gallagher 09-01-2019 10:46 PM

after over a year, i have finally updated my closet

featuring a new section: d&d avatars that i spent a lot of time on but never wore so no one ever saw them

Espy 09-02-2019 02:40 AM

Psst the other d&d npc avis were also v cool

Gallagher 09-02-2019 04:04 AM

i can't upload npc things until npcs have been seen

DreadedMartian 09-02-2019 04:18 AM

Your closet is one of my favorites to creep through Galla lol
Awesome work!

Gallagher 09-02-2019 04:22 AM

my, that's so sweet! is it something about my style? :s-shy:

DreadedMartian 09-02-2019 04:25 AM

Well personally I like the variety and themes are my jam

Gallagher 09-02-2019 04:27 AM

i am rather fond of participating in challenges and avatar judging competitions and the like. it's a shame no one runs that style of contest anymore.

DreadedMartian 09-02-2019 04:56 AM

I totally agree. Dont get me wrong, Gizzie does a fantastic job. But more contests, especially themed avi contests wouldn't be a bad thing lol

Gallagher 09-02-2019 05:14 AM

yes, at one point there was a few people running one that was uhm. more like official feeling, with multiple judges and scores and averages to figure out the winner, instead of user polls or just choosing someone. it was really nice, getting comments and critiques on avatars and how well they adhered to themes.

DreadedMartian 09-02-2019 05:32 AM

That sounds rather nice actually. Sometimes I feel like voting can be more of a popularity conest. Having judges feels more deliberate and focused. Who knows? Perhaps there will come a time where we trisphites can do more.

Gallagher 09-02-2019 06:10 AM

oh yes. and, as tempting as it is to start one myself, i'm weak and i would rather be participating, haha

Panda 09-02-2019 12:29 PM

I'm too lazy to even save 1 avatar XD

Biomecha 09-02-2019 12:32 PM

I love how intricate your looks are. The longer you look at some, the better they become. And the ones that don't use a body are also some of my favorites (like the TV head, dragon type, and honey ones).

I wouldn't mind that sort of contest. Sometimes I wish there was at least a critique thread that helped you see ways you could improve or suggest something you might not have considered.

Gallagher 09-02-2019 07:16 PM

actually, a critique thread isn't a bad idea at all
