Oh gosh that would be awesome. I'd also like to see kids running around and pick-pockets. Possibly an evolving economy that responds to wheather you buy stuff in teh area or only sell.

Suzerain of Sheol 05-17-2011 08:58 PM

I think there may be elements of that, actually. Read something about a basic economic system.

And it's confirmed that children will exist in this one. :p

Sweet! Argh! Must contain evil impulses to kill entire city when getting new game!

Suzerain of Sheol 05-17-2011 09:30 PM

I remember having a collection of about 40 complete guard uniforms decorating my front yard in one of my houses in Oblivion. You'd think they'd have got the message at some point. :p

Lunaryon 05-17-2011 09:31 PM

I had nearly two hundred guard helmets in the waterfront house.

Suzerain of Sheol 05-17-2011 09:33 PM

Speaking of which, how awesome would an improved reputation system be? Having the guards actually get freaked out and call for backup on seeing you would be amazing.

Or... random people coming to give you gifts or something, for, you know, those people who... don't... go on killing sprees. *shifty eyes* Yeah...

Lunaryon 05-17-2011 09:40 PM

Or maybe their paying you off so that you won't kill them.

Suzerain of Sheol 05-17-2011 09:43 PM

I'll admit, I did the Knights of the Nine questline and continued on being a good-aligned character through the whole game, and I was a god damned PARAGON. Even swore a vow of poverty. :p

Of course, in one of the quests, I killed an ally by mistake and hadn't saved in a while, so, rather than reload, I left my crusader gear on the ground and tricked myself out in Daedric armor and decided that I had fallen from grace. Many townspeople suffered. Too long gazing into the abyss, and all that. :D

Lunaryon 05-17-2011 09:53 PM

I played the Knights of the nine. Couldn't finish it. By the time I could finally use the items again, another ten people had died of 'Mysterious Causes'. I just couldn't help myself.

Suzerain of Sheol 05-17-2011 09:55 PM

You know, that's what made the assassin quests so awesome. I was a bit OCD with those, setting everything up just right in advance, patiently awaiting my prey, but oh, was it worth it. Like poor, poor Faelian. I spent 16 hours (game time) in his house. He never had a chance. :D

Lunaryon 05-17-2011 10:06 PM

Remember the party? Every time I end up with the last two houseguests going after each other. Then they relax and tell me it's okay they delt with the murderer. At which time I draw my blade and laugh evilly as I smile at them and say, "No.No you didn't."

Suzerain of Sheol 05-17-2011 10:14 PM

Same! That was easily my favorite quest in the game. Plus, it was just so fun manipulating all the guests.

On the other hand, the last legitimate assassination (I think it was) where you have to kill the guy who prays at the statue of the Night Mother... that was an embarrassing one for me.

I got in position early that day, had like 60% chameleon on and was hiding on the roof with my bow, waiting for him. And... somehow, he senses me, shoots me with a paralysis arrow before I even know what's happening, and I tumble off the roof and die of shame.

Lunaryon 05-17-2011 10:16 PM

By that point I had gotten enough sigil stones so that I was 135% chameleoned. The most fun thing ever. I could do whatever and Noone would press charges.

Suzerain of Sheol 05-17-2011 10:18 PM

I actually got bored with 100+% chameleon after I got it. Crime isn't fun for me, unless there's even a slight chance I'll get caught. Where's the grandeur, the derring-do when success is guaranteed? :p

Lunaryon 05-17-2011 10:35 PM

Watching the guards when you hit them and they can't see you. I find it hillarious.

Suzerain of Sheol 05-17-2011 10:38 PM

You raise a compelling point... if only because the voice actor they hired for every guardsman ever is hilarious, especially when he's confused. :p
