It was more executive meddling, than anything. They aired the first few episodes out of order, and at... I want to say 7:00 Friday nights. Couple that with lack of advertising and it's no wonder the show got axed, despite how great it was. I didn't even know it existed until Serenity came out.

Drawn Together! I want that show back right effing now! D8<

Hiccup 05-26-2011 04:50 PM

Farscape, hands down. And I don't watch tv but a handful of times a year. Seriously. But I'd LOVE to have Farscape continued.

Madam Kira 05-26-2011 04:58 PM

Oh yeah I forgot about Drawn Together.
I want that back too!

Poggio 05-27-2011 12:35 AM

hmm I dont know if anyone else is a fan of cheesy Cliches but I want the cape back, I think it only lasted ten eppisodes.

Heroes, Dresden Files, Invader Zim, The Animorphs, The show with the giant robot cats that defended the universe, Zoids, The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (The Original. Not any of the new ones).Spiderman and his Amazing Friends, Teen Titans, Thundercats... The list goes on and on. Of these, I want Heroes back the most. It was cut off at the worst time. Nothing was tied up. Every single plot line, but one was left hanging. And the series finale made even more questions appear.

Firefly
Stargate
Invader Zim
Animaniacs
Heroes

T_______T ♥

Quiet Man Cometh 05-29-2011 04:28 AM

Giant robot cats defending the universe sounds like the more recent incarnation of "Voltron" if we're talking mechanical lions that form into a giant robot.

Recently this show I started watching, "S#1% My Dad Says" just got cancelled after it's first season. I thought it was awesome, but apparently the producers did not.

I freaking wish, for both of those. ;;

Firefly had, I believe, thirteen episodes, a few of which were never even aired, and after constant badgering from the fans it also had an "ending" in the movie Serenity. It had a horrible time slot and no advertising. I remember watching it with my dad when it was still airing and not being interested, but when it came out on DVD when I was older and I watched it again I felt the full force of despair for it being cancelled. I was like, "I should've supported this when it was out!! D=" And I'm sure that's how most fans feel today.

I think SyFy did, or still does, air re-runs of the show.

Fan service in Castle. =3

Frt! That was going to be mine. YES FARSCAPE.
At the very least
at the very least
one more season to actually end it the way they wanted to end it
I mean you could throw the Peacekeeper Wars out of canon and do it the way they meant to >3>

And omg yes freakin Firefly

I wouldn't mind Freaks and Geeks either

They should make a channel for cancelled and discontinued tv shows. I'm sure it would get a lot of hits and make the broadcasting company realize just how popular a lot of these tv shows were.

CupcakeDolly 06-10-2011 03:42 PM

I think Boomerang falls under that category for cancelled cartoons. But think about how many shows have been cancelled over the years, you would need a separate channel for each genre, and even then there's only 24 hours in the day in which to air them. All of the really good cancelled shows get spots for re-runs on late night television anyway. (And all the time on SyFy, which seems to be having trouble coming up with new stuff. =P)

The Nanny
George Lopez
Xholin Showdown (I really miss that show)
Dexters Lab
Rugrats
And would toonami count?
