I've always been horrible at backgrounds.

Some how I can never make them compliment my piece. I end up with an over complicated busy mess. xD

I draw the worst clouds! I draw round little awkward cotton balls. When I look up at clouds RL I see whipped cream through the flat glass bottom of a plate.

...Mmmm, whipped cream.

I usually paint my claws fingernails black. Saves the hassle of picking and goes with everything. ;). Either that or a sort of shiny overlay. That is, when I do paint my nails.

You have too many shiney things Perfect! So tempting to try for other things ;). I'll need to go procure another watercolour pad soon- or a sketch pad with detachable pages that actually scan. I have but two pages left!

I had a bottle of black when I was in middle school, but I ran out and I was too cheap to buy more. even when I did paint my nails black, I usually did shiny purple/blue/gold/silver/whatever stripes or polka-dots or some sort of design on top.
I always keep my fingernails painted because if I don't, I end up biting them. :C
