ok so i saw this when you first posted and didn't say anything but it really bugs me, the use of a photo bg with a drawn picture looks terrible unless the picture is realistic and yours most certainly not, it just looks really...well, lazy as a whole, like you sorta threw it in last-moment to kill some whitespace, maybe you should draw the bg out, it would help with contenuity for sure and you could do something to fix that foot thing that was bothering you

Personally I don't think the background is that bad. I've certainly seen a lot worse when people tack on a background. The shading is good so far and it doesn't look like the character was cut-pasted into the background.

Easy enough to trace the background onto a different layer to make it more in tune with the man I suppose, if it's really needed.

@Chocobo: I'm considering tracing the bg, but it's a placeholder for the time being. If I don't redraw the bg, I'll at least balance and adjust its colors.

It's actually not as bad as it sounded at first. I almost like the simplicity of the lack of lines. Maybe more definition in color would be nice, like shading on the clothing and stuff.

It looks incomplete to me because only parts of it are shaded the rest are flat.
