I think my favorite is Epica, but I'm not sure.. It's never easy to pick favorites when there's so many good ones.

The Mars Volta is my favorite band. Led Zeppelin comes in at a close second for obvious reasons. After that, it varies regularly, but I really like folk/bluegrass, so I usually have a lot of folk artists on my list.

As a gentleman, I would be remiss if I were to neglect to mention Professor Elemental and Mr. B the Gentleman Rhymer, the two most prominent artists of the "Chap-Hop" genre.
But the vast majority of the music that I listen to comes from game or anime soundtracks, so I suppose I should give a shout-out to Yoko Kanno and the Seatbelts, famous for the transcendentally amazing Cowboy Bebop soundtrack. |
I think that Billy Talent is currently re-becoming my favorite bad >.>. But I normally change them around a lot >.<. I'm with bands the same way I'm with songs. One day/week/month I'll be listening to a specific song(s) over and over again, and the next I'll just simply get tired of it and make the music player play something else.
I think my first ever favorite band was Evenescence (I've heard they disbanded and the lead singer went solo since), then Linkin Park, Nightwish, Papa Roach, Oomph, A7X, My Chemical Romance, Billy Talent, Celldweller, Sum 41 and, probably a few others... I also keep finding myself returning (a lot) to listening to vocaloid songs I find on youtube on some days. |
