I am guessing the connotation. However it is your character hun, you can name her Agamemnon if it is what you like. She will still be Alice.

I like the spelling Alice but its kinda sweet for my taste. Alyss is kinda cool so lets go with that one. Sounds twisty :P

And as for the difference, everytime I see the name spelled Alice, I think sweet, innocent, and a little Mary Sue. The spelling Alyss (besides reminding me of the word Abyss) makes me think twisted, unique, and knowing.

Alright to make things my way, I am basing this Alyss off my main character I had drawn awhile back. Check my picture that someone drew for me on page one. I wanted to make it like my character Kia I made on menewsha awhile back.
