Mercy that's just letting you know that you did an achievement. Just click on them one at a time and it will make them disappear.

If you just click on the Achievement link at the top next to settings it will get rid of all of them

What are the tokens for?

To get special items from the token shop tab

In the shops there is a token shop you can buy pretty stuffs there.

That should have totally been easy to figure out.
