Quiet Man Cometh 10-05-2012 11:08 PM

I think that Species counts as horror in the same way that Alien does, sort of an action type. I only saw the first one. If it's the movie I'm thinking of, my main thought was why would they mess with unknown DNA in the first place?

Right now the movie I really like that is horror movie is Cabin in the Woods it really good and turns everything you know about horror movies on it head just really good.

Oh Really? My roommate hates that movie! I want to see it though!

NeonSynth 10-06-2012 06:49 PM

Rico how the remake of it? I have been not wanting to watch it because I love the Original so much and do not have much faith in american remakes

Rico 10-07-2012 02:27 AM

Well, I like it, it kind of the same but with little difference here and there and a scene or two changed or just not there (like the part with that one person on fire (that onfused me because I saw the remake first without knowing it) and the crazy cat person.) I think they have both different name too, one the little boy is called Oscar the other one is Owen. Honestly, I love both. I think the ending is different too. (I need to rewatch them, they're both kind of mixed in my mind)

@Nikko, I hear it's good because everyone told me it was, except for some reason my mom didn't like it and I taught it would be her kind of movie.

I didn't think anything of it when the showed previews of it. But this really good, it was something I was not expecting and just the idea and twist they have was pretty cool.

The Collection is coming out. That looks like a great one! I'll be seeing it tomorrow. So I'mma add that to the list, too. :B

It's weird and not really the whole nine-yard creepy factor or even gorey factor that most want to see. Sixth Sense has been my all-time favorite because of its rich and unique story.

Nanka 02-06-2013 01:18 AM

I refuse to watch any horror movies. Not a fan. I guess the only one I could say I liked was Leprechaun because it was so bad that it was good.

VixieMooCow 08-29-2013 09:18 PM

i'm a big horror film fan, but some of the "newer" films are complete crap.. same ideas used over and over again, im more of an 70s/80s/90s horror lover.. heres what i LOVE!!

Hellraiser
Childs Play
Nightmare On Elm Street(all)
Fright Night(both versions)
Basically ALL stephen king films

XrosHeartless 09-01-2013 12:00 AM

Let's see, the first things that come to mind are the original Alien and Trick 'r Treat.

Polly101 09-14-2013 04:08 AM
