Mizuki had left for his bath but instead he took a walk first. It was nice just to walk slow through the trees without the worry of something drastic happening. Mizuki walked slow through the trees before he heard the foot steps of another. Jumping up into the nearest trees he crouched low and hit himself as he watched the other male walk out and head down the path he was going.

Mizuki smiled. It seemed to him that Thalion was not watching where he was heading. No instead the males mind seemed to be off some where else. So Mizuki thought it would be fun to play again with the drow.

Silently he fallowed behind Thalion as the male walked through the trees. It seemed as though he was heading back to camp. Well that wouldnt work to well not with the plan that he had. So it was time to take the next step.

Getting closer Mizuki removed the dagger from his robes and in a swift movement was up behind the male one arm around his chest as the other held the blunt side of the dagger to Thalions throat. Masking his voice as best he could Mizuki spoke "Seems to me we have a lone wolf out here" He said as he pressed his chest into the males back.

Normally Thalion wasn't careless. Not when he was out here anyway. He joked and carried on during fights or when the group was together but out here he normally kept himself rather alert. Though tonight he seemed a bit lost in his thoughts. It had been a while when he was last home and the weather reminded him of it all the more.

Maybe after this was all over he would go home... just to see how things were. Well if things could be fixed, there wasn't really any proof that things could be reversed either. Yeah distracted was a word. He should have heard Mizuki walking even sneaking near him a while ago. Let alone for the other to be able to get close enough to get a weapon to his neck.

Though that distracted mind quickly went to work as a few instincts took over as soon as he felt the other was close enough. Mizuki wasn't very good at hand to hand so there was probably no way for him to stop Thalion from doing what he did as he grabbed the hand with the weapon or rather whatever object that he found to be a threat to a vital area and moved it as well as grabbing the other hand in the same swift movement before forcing whoever that thought they had the upper hand off of him.

He had forced the hand holding the dagger to drop the weapon so that was one less thing to deal with. He ended up having flipped whoever had grabbed him as his foe was on the ground and he drew one blade quickly and was about to strike. "Mizuki?!" He acted a bit surprised as that was the last person he expected to see.. let alone be able to sneak up on him. Maybe he had been a bit out of it.

"Damn are you mad? I could have... " He breathed out before putting the blade back and running a hand quickly through his hair to try to ease the sudden rush he had from the thought of a fight. "I swear..." He muttered a little knowing that could have gone badly.

Mizuki groaned as he laid there on the ground infront of the male. That hurt. From one moment to the next he was standing then flipped onot his back with a pissed off Thalion looking down into his face. Yes he knew he shouldnt of done that but he couldnt help it. Now that they seemed to be talking Mizuki couldnt help but act like he had towards the male in the older days.

"You could of but you didnt" Mizuki said before moving to stand up in front of Thalion "Besides not only that..." He said before pushing the male back a little "You couldnt hurt me if you tried" He said with a taunting smile before pushing Thalion again this time watching as the males back hit into a tree lightly.

Oh this was to perfect. How could Mizuki not take advantage of this "You know...the last time something happened like this it was my back against the wall" He said with a little laugh taking a step closer to the male with a smile.

"Trying and what could have happened are two different thi-" He was about to say things but Mizuki seemed to have other ideas as he was pushed against a tree. Probably lucky that a tree was there or they would have ended up on the ground. What was he up to now was the first thought though it was a short lived question.

Mizuki decided to speak up before Thalion had a chance to push away. In truth Thalion had tried to forget that night at the inn and the bit at the waterfall as well. He had tried everyday to forget it and say it was moments of weakness or maybe he wasn't feeling well or just any excuse as to what made him act the way he did around the other.

Things had been going well and they had been just talking normally so he had been able to push the thoughts aside and assume things could go back to the way they were before. This little encounter told him otherwise. Mizuki mentioning the last time this happened caused Thalion to look away a little.

Though he did have the freedom to run away, Mizuki wouldn't be able to hold him there, well with spells maybe but that was it. "Yeah well... we both had quite a few drinks that night too.." Yeah like that was the only reason it happened. Though the thought made that same slight blush return from that one night at the waterfall.

He thought of running but he never ran, not from anything else and .. maybe he didn't want to. In a way he liked having Mizuki this close and the odd thought of grabbing the other for a repeat of what happened that night at the inn was a tempting thought though he wasn't as bold to do so at the moment.

Mizuki stopped moving as Thalion spoke. Yes it was true that they had a fair amount to drink that night but that couldnt be the reason for the kiss...was it? Mizuki didnt know and he wanted an answer. This combinded with the fact that Thalion didnt run when given the chance told him the male needed answers as well. So Mizuki did the only thing that he wanted to do.

Moving closer he reached a pale unsure hand out towards the male and placed it on a cloth clad chest. He felt the slight flinch in muscle as he rested his hand there though the male still did not pull away. Was this actually happening or was he dreaming? Mizuki didnt know and at the same time he didnt want to.

Moving a little closer Mizuki finally spoke "Yes...we did" He said lightly "But..." Mizuki paused a moment "I dont regret it" He said looking down as his ears dipped back. "It was a chance to take and im glad I did it" Mizuki said with an exhale of air "Though it seems to me that we both are unsure as to what we can make from this" Mizuki said with a little nod before he raised his head.

Looking right into that dark face Mizuki gave a soft smile before he leaned in and kissed the male. Right then he was glad for the tree that held Thalion there because he was sure that the male would run or back away if he had the chance to.

The kiss was short but full of emotion as Mizuki pulled back after a moment "What you want to make of it is up to you" Mizuki said before he backed up dropping his hand from Thalions chest with his fingers brushing as he did "I will be around...when you decide" He said lightly before he moved and walked away.

Mizuki was glad that Thalion had stayed where he was. It made the moment where he pulled away all the more easier. Walking back to camp he sat across from the fire with his back against a tree. His mind gave him images that made it hard to sleep so instead he stared lazilie into the fire.

No that wasn't the only reason for the kiss. Mizuki had started it and maybe he had seen it as a challenge from the other. Or the few times he had played with the idea before quickly dismissing them finally had come to a boiling point. He wasn't sure what had made him go forward with that kiss that night but in a way he was glad yet he had been at a loss of how to act around Mizuki from that night onward.

Seeing as the other had stopped moving for a moment he figured he had said something to cause this encounter to end. That was a good and bad thing seeing as if things continued where every few days something happened like this he would remain confused. Though it seemed the moment of pause was just that.

When he felt the other's hand on his chest he flinched slightly before looking at Mizuki. Those eyes, they never changed to him. Even in their other life he could always remember those eyes. Yet now they seemed to hold questions, probably the same ones he had. This thought was confirmed when Mizuki spoke that he didn't regret what happened that night.

He had lost his change to run moments ago and as he felt the other's lips against his own he found himself unable to move. It wasn't that he didn't want it but he didn't want to admit it. He wanted to pull back but he seemed almost frozen at the moment, also the tree behind him wasn't helping matters.

Though thankfully it was a short kiss as Mizuuki pulled away a little. Why was it up to him? He wasn't sure what to make of any of this. It wasn't normal to just suddenly have feelings for someone you had lived with for years, known for years. Let alone had failed to find...

After Mizuki was gone he was really glad the tree was there or he might have fallen over as he used it for a bit of support before moving to a sitting position. Something had to give sooner or later. Was he just being stubborn and refusing to accept that he... yeah he cared about Mizuki but this was more then that.

He couldn't just outright say it either. Besides that his dragonkin pet seemed to enjoy getting between the two of them if she knew they were spending any time together. Conversation or just walking. Maybe he should take that as a hint. Once all of this was fixed and over what then? They'd go back to their normal lives and things would be back to the way they were...

After a little bit he got up and went about to make a second round before getting back to camp Felix was just switching watch duty with Neimi as he asked what was up. Thalion seemed a bit distracted by something still. "Hrm? Oh um nothing. Just tired." He could add stressed and confused to that mix as well but thats all he said.

Mizuki pretended to be asleep as Thalion came back to camp. There was no point in drawing out something that was already on their minds. No Mizuki instead thought this to be the best thing. So pretending to sleep was the easiest thing to do and soon enough the real thing fallowed.

The night passed and the next day came on swift wings. The group of five was already walking and starting the day though the sky seemed to be something to fear at the moment. Dark clouds began to cover the light blue as thunder heads rolled in. Great that was just what they needed. It would seem to him that they were in for some rain.

Looking at the group he sighed "We need to pick up the pace unless everyone here wishes to get rained on" Mizuki said with a nod before turning and walking faster. He knew there was a town near and that was the thing he was greatfull for. The town was only an hour or more away but the wind was picking up bringing a chill with it.

They were almost there and Mizuki knew that. He was just hoping that the rain stayed away long enough for them to find an inn...though that thought died the moment he felt a drop of water hit his face. Great...the last thing they needed was rain.

It started off as a light spit with drops here and there then from one moment to the next it was as if the gods turned a tap on. Now the group was running through the rain heading for the glow of the town they could see on the horizon. The wind and rain combind chilled the group to the bone and Mizuki was so greatfull the moment they stepped foot in that inn all of them soaked to the bone. "Great..." Mizuki said with a shiver.

Once they were at the inn it seemed they were hardly the only ones taking cover from the wind and rain. The place was packed. Though this seemed to be a larger town as well so there wasn't a worry about rooms. Though she was only able to get two At first she thought she was going to be stuck with trying to fit the five of them in the same room.

"I forgot how damn hard it is to run in the rain.." Thalion breathed out being reminded of highschool all over again. "You find yourself running form someones dad or something?" Felix teased finding the thought funny at the moment. "No I ran cross country track, rain didn't exactly stop the meets." Though in the city you don't hear much about the track teams, it was more of baseball or football. But that was when Neimi came back over.

"Well.. I guess you three have to get along for one night. Think you can manage?" She teased knowing that they weren't really on bad terms. Or at least she didn't think so. Everyone seemed to carry on and talk like they normally did.

Though at the thought of a room he figured that might be a good idea. He hadn't been getting the greatest sleep due to a number of things and to admit it, not that he would, he didn't exactly feel all that great. Luna seemed to right away snag Neimi so they could settle in their room after she had handed off the second key.

Felix shrugged a little. "Well I know what I'm doing before being cooped up in a room with you two for the rest of the night." He started to walk towards the bar when he asked a question that probably gave away a lot more then it should. "Hey Thal you want anything?" He shook his head at first before he started walking a little. "Actually I think I'm just going to go to the room." With that he walked off as Felix looked over at Mizuki a bit in shock.

"Wow.. the day he turns down drinking..." That was odd but Felix knew that Thalion would never tell him what was wrong unless he wanted to. Maybe he was just tired or something it had been a long week after all.

Mizuki stood there...really only two rooms? Then again with how packed the place was he was shocked that they were even able to get that. Mizuki watched the scene between the two females before he walked off. He never knew Luna to like some one like that other then himself but at the same time she never really had many girlfriends so this was a nice change for Mizuki to see.

Watching silently Mizuki saw that Thalion refused the drink before walking off to the room "I am going to change" He said to Felix who gave a nod of his head as Mizuki fallowed behind Thalion to the room. He really didnt say anything to the male as they entered and he dropped his sack on the floor.

Mizuki looked up at this time to notice Thalion all but shivering out of his skin. The way the male stood and acted Mizuki was sure there was something wrong. So without warning he walked to Thalion and began pushing the male to the bathroom. When the protests reached his ears he growled "Dont argue...I can see your body shaking" He said as they entered the room "Now you have a choice...have a hot bath on your own or I will force you to....its your choice" He said before he turned and left the room.

He knew something was wrong but the idea he was getting sick was the last thing on his mind. He never got sick. Though he never had sleepless nights and enough stress to strangle someone with either. Ok he did ... before. Maybe after he had gotten sick that time was when he gave up. He couldn't keep forcing himself between work and looking for Mizuki back then. But this was different.

His idea was just to change clothes and sleep for a while, he'd probably feel better once that was through. About that time he noticed Mizuki seemed to be in the room with him. Probably just changing clothes or something. Oh but he was wrong, the other seemed to pick up on his shivering no matter how hard he was trying to hide it.

Not that the protests did any good, he hardly felt like fighting back really. He wasn't sure if he was just tired or really was getting sick. But he didn't really have the strength to force the other to stop. "I'm fine." He finally said snapping a bit before shaking his head at the idea of a bath. "I'll get one later I just need to lay down for a bit."

The idea was to walk out of the bathroom and dare Mizuki to stop him. Though he didn't make it that far as he leaned against the door frame to keep from actually falling in the floor. Ok that was different. Now he knew he was sick, he never got sick though! He almost wanted to kick himself he knew this was going to happen days ago and he ignored it.

Mizuki sighed then shrugged his shoulders as Thalion spoke about being fine and all this junk. "Fine then...dont say I didnt warn you" He said with a tilt of his head as he stood there and watched the male head for the door. He took a step towards Thalion though as the male seemed to loose what balance he had and lean up against the door frame. Yep that was it.

Turning he headed for the tub and with a quick turn and plug it was feeling with steamy water. Walking over to Thalion Mizuki ignored all protsts as he picked up the male and walked over to the tub. Since the males clothes were soaked as it was he just put Thalion right in the hot water. "Trust me when I say you should stay in here" He said before reaching over and bending down so he grabbed the hem of the males shirt. In one swift movement it was up and over his head.

Mizuki dropped the wet shirt to the floor before he moved to the shoes and knick knacks all of them finding the same fate as the T-shit. "Now...remove those pants...I will be right back" Mizuki said turning and leaving the room. Mizuki headed right for his pack and grabbed the herbs that was needed. Walking back to the bathroom he was glad to see that Thalion had taken his advice as he saw the males pants on the floor.

"Dont wrry im not staying" Mizuki said as he walked over to the tub. Placing the herbs one by one in order in the tub Mizuki didnt say anything or do anything but that. Slowly with the steam came the smell of honey and sand "Stay here till the water is cooler but not cold" He said before turning and just like that leaving. He only returned a moment later to leave fresh dry clothes for the male before taking all the wet and leaving.

Ok so maybe he should have listened to Mizuki in the first place. But he didn't and he knew that he had just doomed himself. If he could have just made it to the damned bed. Though that thought was pushed to the side as Mizuki seemed to ignore him as he asked what he was doing. He really did just want sleep. The bath could wait or so he thought.

Yep ignored. "Mizuki I swear if you don't -" He didn't get much else out as the other seemed to force him into the tub. Oh he was going to kill him as soon as he had the energy to. Even though he felt like utter crap about this moment he still had enough energy to complain. Least that meant he wasn't dying right.

Though it took no time before the other pretty much stole most of his clothes before recommending that he take the rest off. Like he had a choice... Though he didn't feel like testing things that far so he complied with that order. Though his expression probably said enough. Hell he had already been carried in here and undressed there was hardly anything else the other could really do to him at this point. So yes he was sulking a bit that he wasn't able to fight back really.

Even as Mizuki came back and said he wasn't staying he turned his head a little never giving his words a second thought. "I don't care if you stayed or not... " He had seen him in worse states then this. Like the few times he ended up coming home half bloodied from lord knew what. Not only that but they had lived together for years it shouldn't be that big of a deal.

Though after the other came and left a second time was when he started to think on things a bit It did matter though.. now anyway. It seemed that things were different now and that was part of the reason he was even sick. Stressing so much over what he should do. Though he probably owed Mizuki a few apologies now.

Mizuki sat and waited in the room after changing his own clothes. Dry and warm he set the wet ones out to dry. Mizuki didnt know what came over him to do what he did but he knew the male would get sicker if he didnt. So to him it seemed to be the only option at that moment in time. Be sides he took a little joy in forcing the male to do that.

Mizuki already had a tea brewed and waiting with a bed made with extra blankets waiting for Thalion the moment the male left the bathroom "About time" He said with a smile and ignored Thalions reply. Mizuki watched as the male slowly but surely headed for the bed. As he reached the bed Mizuki stood and grabbed a cup of tea. Walking over he gave it to Thalion "Dont complain...just drink" He said "You can bitch all you want the moment your better" Was all Mizuki said to the male

About time was the first comment he heard after leaving the room. If he had been feeling better he'd have half a mind to forget to put clothes on that'd shut the other up. Though considering he was freezing at the moment he didn't think being a smart ass was the best idea. Besides that he just wanted to go to sleep he swore he'd be fine in a few hours.

"Yeah yeah...That will not be happening again." Though he knew his warning fell on deaf ears. It was a wasted breath. If he let himself get sick again it would be. He had lucked out that they were in town. This could have been really bad if it happened while they were traveling. He needed to stop all of this foolishness. Stressing himself and keeping his mind so active that he doesn't get sleep.

Either way he thought maybe he could just go to sleep, that Mizuki would leave him alone he had already made his point that he was in no condition to fight back enough for it to matter. Though that seemed to be too much to ask for as he sighed a bit when Mizuki handed him a cup of tea. "You and your tea.. I swear..." He did this before as well, there was a tea for everything or at least from the list Mizuki had named off to him before it seemed like it.

Though also having experiences Mizuki's little mixtures he knew better then to linger on the taste. Though he never was a tea person anyway. Drinking it he shuddered a bit, yeah that was a reminder of how much he did not miss drinking stuff like this. Though least he had amused Mizuki and he knew that the other was right and probably knew what he was doing to fix this.

"There happy? Now can I freeze to death in my sleep?" Not being serious though he hated that he still felt like he was going to freeze. Ah yes how colds did suck. He had a few thoughts but he wasn't going to voice them. He was still trying to work things out even with how he felt currently. Though he oddly wanted Mizuki to be close. But to say that seemed like a fate worse then death. Ok maybe admitting he cared about anything was a fate worse then death to him.

"Yeah yeah you can go to bed now" He said slightly. Mizuki was always one for teas and herbs even in real life. It was something that always made him happy and it kept him alive when food was no where to be seen. He was greatfull that people grew herbs in their gardens otherwise he wouldnt be here.

Mizuki let Thalion lay down and as he did he covered the male in another blanket. The fire in the fire place was roaring and giving the room heat. The blankets would help to. Reaching out he ignored the protest as he placed a hand on Thalions forehead. It was warm...a little to warm for Mizukis liking. "Dont protest just suck it up" He said as he left the room into the bathroom. A moment later he came back and placed a cool clothe on the back of Thalions neck "Okay now you can sleep" He said with a smile beofre moving and sitting down at the table in the room.

Mizuki was not going to leave. With everything he had in his pack he was set for the night and then some. No instead he would sit here and watch over Thalion. Something so simple gave him great pleasure. Sitting there he hummed lightly to himself.

He wasn't sure why he protested as much as he did. They had been through this before. At least once. Rather something similar. Actually it was almost how they even ended up being friends in the first place. He was young and stupid back then. Ok maybe he still was a bit. But he had over worked himself and was trying to pass all of the classes he was in. More or less he had been running on nothing for a few days before he finally couldn't take it anymore.

Waking up he was in the medical office at the college with some other guy. As soon as he woke up he was talked into drinking some dreadful tasting mixture as the other stated that this would work faster then anything else that they could give him. It was funny in a way that he would remember something silly like that now.

After things were settled and he had been left alone for a little bit he sort of woke back up with a random thought. Hearing the humming off to the side he knew the other didn't leave. Yep that was Mizuki, he never changed did he? "Mizuki.. " He started, as much as he hated it he did owe the other. Even if he had saved him that one time he couldn't count how many times Mizuki had kept him going over the years. "Thank you." He could have said more but knowing the other he'd say get some sleep or talk when your better.

Mizuki sat there in his own little world until he heard the words from Thalion. It brought a smile to pale lips as his eyes closed again "Dont worrie about" He said "Just get rest" Mizuki said lightly before moving and turning the gas lamps off so the only light was from that of the fire.

When Mizuki was in school he was going to be a doctor then so many things changed. It made him sad in a way. Mizuki knew herbs from the back of his hand and knew what was needed to save or kill. Maybe it was better this way. Maybe everything turned out how it was meant to be. Either way the past was the past and there was no changing it now, No instead the future was what needed to be worked on.

As the night went on Mizuki stayed beside Thalion. Even as Felix came in and passed out he stayed where he was. He only moved from time to time to look out the window. It would seem the storm was here to stay for awhile as a crack of thunder rang fallowed by a flash of lightening.

Seemed like Thal wasn't the only one having a bad night. Granted Felix brought it upon himself. Either way Felix didn't say too much before he seemed to pass out. Probably for the best cause he was rather chatty when drunk. Though as long as he had been out there he was probably well past just being drunk.

The storm didn't seem to be letting up at all as it slowly progressed into morning. Felix woke up at some time and complained that he might have over done it. Though it seemed he had poor timing as he nearly ran into Luna and Neimi in the hallway. Neimi scolding him that she never knew how he managed to keep their team together when they were in the finals by the way he acted.

By this time Thalion was probably feeling a bit better. He certainly moved enough like he had troubles sleeping even though he seemed to be dead to the world. Though this didn't last too much longer as a sudden movement caused a rather loud thud. Well if he wasn't awake he was now. Groaning a bit as he tried to figure out where the hell he was.. besides on the floor.

"got it... sleeping sober is a bad idea." He finally muttered as he shifted a little to move. He had to admit he was a bit sore. He felt like he had fought sleep the whole night. Though it was probably a mix between the storm still going on and the fact that even with a fire going and being covered he still shivered a bit during the course of the night.

Mizuki was in the bathroom finishing his morning up when he heard a thud. "Well it would seem Thalions awake" He said to the empty room as he finished braiding his hair before tying it off. Walking out of the room he saw the male still face first on the floor. Raising a brow he hummed "You know the floor is no place to rest" He stated before he walked over and picked the male up placing him back in bed. "Yes yes I know you can do it your self" He said at Thalions protests.

Moving away from the bed he moved over and grabbed a cup of water "Drink this" He said giving the cup to Thalion "I promise you the taste is good" He said noticing the males grimace at the cup. Shaking his head Mizuki placed a hand on the males forehead. The fever had reduced a little but not as much as he would of liked. Moving his hand down he felt the base of his neck at his chest. It was cold. That was not good. "Your still freezing" He stated looking at Thalion.

That was it. Mizuki didnt care right now Thalion could protest and fight all he wanted this was happening. Moving away Mizuki took off Thalions shirt "Trust me for once" He said at Thalions protest as to what he was doing. After that he forced the male to lay back down and he covered him up. Moving to the other side of the bed he removed his own shirt before climbing in behind Thalion.

Rapping his arms around the male Mizuki moved close and pressed his warm nakid chest against that cold bare back of Thalion. He could feel the light shivers running through the males body and Mizuki hugged tighter. Lightly he hummed, trying to make the moment less awkward for the male though he was sure it didnt help.

As soon as he heard someone walking into the room he knew who it was. Though the comment the floor was no place to rest got Mizuki the answer of Thalion half flipping him off. Yep that was a good sign he was feeling better. Not that he expected Mizuki to leave him alone with just that comment.

He was half in the process of getting up himself when Mizuki took it upon himself to help the other. "I-" He was cut off as Mizuki said he knew he could do it himself. Well that made him shut up at least for now anyway.

Even though the liquid looked clear he wasn't sure if it was another one of Mizuki's mixes, though the other seemed to insist that it was fine. Thankfully it seemed to be just water. To be honest he thought he might hurl if it was one of those teas again.

That was when Mizuki started to check everything before he spoke that Thalion was still freezing. It was true bu the figured he could just work it off or something or just sleep some more. "Yeah well.. its better then it was yesterday." Though that didn't seem to stop whatever Mizuki was planning.

As the other proceeded to remove his shirt. "wait what-" Trust him... those words hurt a bit actually. He did trust Mizuki. Only because of that did he stop protesting and let the other do as he wanted. Though he had no idea how removing clothing was going to fix anything. Though he wasn't a med student either, he had been going to college for general studies being unsure of what he really wanted. Though he had been talented in nearly any form of repair class he took. Not that any of this helped him here.

Though when the other seemed to proceed to getting in the bed with him and pulling him close was when he seemed to freeze as far as moving. Feeling the others bare chest against his back. He couldn't say he wasn't enjoying the feeling but he wasn't sure what to do or say even. Even as his body betrayed him and let another shiver he felt Mizuki hug him tighter.

He needed to stop fighting this. Stressing that this wasn't happening or that he didn't want this had caused him to be in this state to begin with. He knew Mizuki, very well in fact. The other would never do anything he didn't want, even some stunt like this.

After a moment he tried to relax, Mizuki being there was helping. Even oddly the humming was helping. Though he wasn't sure if his face feeling hot was form the fever still or from Mizuki being close like this. Either way he finally moved a hand to place it over where Mizuki's was. Maybe to try to tell the other to stay. He wasn't sure but he did want the other to stay. Even if Felix came back he didn't really care at the moment.

Mizuki knew that Thalion was going to protest but at the same time he didnt care. No Thalion needed to get better and the only way to do that was first to warm the male up. Mizuki could think of some better ways to warm the male in his arms up but for now this was the only thing that would have to do.

Mizuki hummed softly with his eyes closed but the hum faultered a little as a dark hand moved and rested over his. Mizuki was waiting for Thalion to move his arm away and push it back so little to say he was shocked was a different story when the arm was held to the dark chest. Mizuki didnt complain once as he continued on with his humming.

As he layed there Mizuki felt the shivering stop after awhile and the breath evened out as Thalion fell asleep. Good he needed his rest Mizuki thought as he listed to the even breathing of the male he was holding. Mizuki half wondered if he should pull away and let the male sleep but when he tried to do so the grip on his arm tightened a little. So instead he stayed.

There was a little bit of luck that Neimi seemed to be keeping a eye on Felix. Though as the evening hours rolled around it seemed he had his hands full anyway. A few of the women he had bothered the night before seemed to locate where he had run off to. Yeah he was going to be having his hands full keeping clear of them considering how drunk he was.

The night seemed to leave both of them unbothered by anyone. Luna knew better then to bother Mizuki when he was working. Though she probably still did check on him a few times. Till Neimi probably got talking to her about something else.

By the time morning came back around was about when Thalion even started to wake up. Least today he did feel better, the rest of that fever probably broke during the night. He wasn't sure really. In truth he hardly remembered waking up at all minus that fall in the floor. That he wasn't sure if it was a dream or not even.

Though about that moment he remembered something else as he really started to wake up and still seemed to be holding Mizuki's hand captive. Though the other seemed to be asleep. Or at least seemed to be doing a good job of faking it if he wasn't.

This though gave him a idea, he remembered the bit of tormenting Mizuki had done. He was going to get payback. Moving a little but not enough to disturb the other he ran his mind over his plan once more before leaning over and kissing just below where his ear was. "Mizuki sleeping past dawn.. shame on you."

Mizuki never slept in, it seemed impossible. Though he ddid want to see the reaction he got from this. Curiosity mainly and seeing as he seemed to hold the other there all night he might as well give up on thinking that nothing was going to come of any of this.

Mizuki had stayed awake for as long as he could just to make sure that Thalion was okay or if he needed anything but as the night went on he grew more and more tired. After awhile he fell asleep. Being warm and safe made his mind rest fast.

The next morning came and began to leave before he began to stir. Mizuki wanted to fight sleep as much as he could so he drifted in and out of sleep. Thalion was lucky and caught him in a moment where his mind was starting to wake but he was still caught off guard.

The kiss right below his ear made a shiver run down his spine but it was a great way to wake him up. Hearing the comment from Thalion he thought he could play along with the male before him. Opening his eyes half way he looked at Thalion with a sleepy content look "Continue that and we will be in bed longer" He said with a little growl sneaking a kiss placing it on the males cheek softly and slowly before pulling back and just looking at him.

He was kind of hoping that the other might freak that he over slept but knowing Mizuki he had tried to stay up the night anyway. Though the slight shiver from the other made it worth while. That would have to do seeing as the other seemed to be slightly more awake then he thought.

"Is that so... well we wouldn't want that. Your dragon friend might start to question what your doing away from her." Though he had figured out some time ago that the two weren't a thing, though she was protective enough for someone to think other wise. It was cute in a way and he had her to thank for Mizuki even still being around probably.

Though the light kiss from the other still caught him off guard as he moved to sit up. Ok so he started it this time, but what or where was he trying to take things? "Well remind me never to wake you up in such a manner again."

Though as far as he knew Mizuki didn't seem to mind the wake up. Though he still didn't get out of bed just yet, stalling? Yeah right. They were both awake so this little it of time was probably as good as over with. Not that he was going to admit to enjoying it while it lasted. Seeing as that might have been some of the best sleep he had gotten in quite a while.

Mizuki laughed at that. Yes Luna was very protective and that came from the state she found Mizuki in those years ago. Yes he was treated like the younger sibling even though they were close to the same age. Mizuki was about to get out of bed when Thalion sat up and made the comment that he did "Why not? It wouldnt kill to get some more sleep once in awhile" He said before moving the blankets and standing.

Stretching Mizuki undid his braid and shook out his hair. It was time to brush it and rebraid the long strands of white. Walking into the bathroom Mizuki ignored the fact that he was till shirtless. No instead he did his morning ritual.

After awhile he left the bathroom and headed into the room. "Its free to use" He said as he began to fix the fire once more. It was time to try and make the male eat something. Walking over to the window Mizuki sighed as he looked at the pouring rain. There was no way in hell they were leaving this place within the next day or two. No instead they would be here until the rain stopped.

"Oh you say that now? I remember a number of times where you would have said otherwise." Like the countless times he had been woken up by Mizuki repeating what time it was and saying it was time to get up.

Though none the less the other seemed to get up and go about his morning routine. Though still waking up a bit himself didn't stop him from watching the other walk across the room into the bathroom. Or rather he caught himself watching the other and quickly refrained from doing so.

After a bit Mizuki came back out. by the time Mizuki did get back out Thalion was at the window. He hated this even after one day of resting he could feel the effects of bed rest for almost a full day.

It was odd really, to be here. One moment he was complaining at Felix that he hated game and the next well this happened. Not that he wanted to complain, if it wasn't because of this he never would have found Mizuki or odds were he would not have.

Though this was when he sighed a bit getting bored of the rain. Now that he could move around he was going to hate sitting around waiting for this storm to end and it seemed like it might be a few days before that happened. Though he knew what was about to come. Now that Mizuki had nothing to busy himself with he was going to start bothering him to eat. He didn't really feel like it after skipping all of yesterday save a cup of water.

Though he didn't dare bother moving either. As far as he knew the other was still shirtless and he had been going over his actions upon waking up as it was. Though maybe he didn't mind... ok no he didn't mind if he did then he would have freaked out this morning. He hated this, he just wanted to know what the other was expecting of any of this. It wasn't just his choice.

Mizuki was sitting at the table as the simple soup brewed in the fire place over the flame. Mizuki knew that Thalion wouldnt be able to handle much what with not eating for a day or two so simple meals it was. It took awhile for Thalion to finish what he was doing and enter the room again. Mizuki watched as he walked over and sat at the table.

This was when Mizuki got up and fetched some of the broth. Placing it down infront of Thalion he smiled "Its not tea or herbs or anthing...just broth" He said before sitting down in the other chair. "And dont argue you know as well as I do that you need to eat something" He said "Even if its more like drinking something" He said with a little huff.

After that silence was their only friend that and the crackeling fire. Mizuki sat there with different things running through his mind. The one thing that plagued him was what had happened the night and the fallowing morning. What was between them? Mizuki was sick of wondering and he needed to know so there was only one thing to do.

Looking down at his hands Mizuki sighed a little he was not looking forward to this but he knew that it needed to be done "Thalion..." He began lightly before he continued "What...exactly is this?" He asked not looking up "I mean...one moment we hate each other and the next..." He sighed a little "Are you just toying with me?" Mizuki asked lightly.

Thalion still looked at Mizuki like he didn't trust his word on that. As far as he remembered the other always found some way or another to sneak herbs into just about anything. Though it was probably this that drove Thalion to learn how to cook better. That way he could fix something that Mizuki didn't tamper with. Granted over the years this did lead to Thalion being a pretty good cook, even after the other seemed to all but vanish from the world.

"I wasn't going to fight, I know." He wasn't looking forward to it though. A day and a half without eating and he knew his stomach was going to make him pay for it. Maybe this storm was a good thing after all. This would be all the more complicated if they were on the road traveling. Least this way he wasn't being a burden and slowing the group down.

Though it felt like it took forever to finish. Probably didn't help that his mind was a bit distracted with thoughts still. He needed to stop already before he made himself sick again or worse. The sudden silence wasn't helping, though he could guess Mizuki had his own thoughts he was mulling over.

After a while Mizuki finally spoke breaking the silence in the room. Though it wasn't with anything that Thalion could answer, not provide a solid answer to anyway. That was a good question though what was this... Mizuki had every right to hate him, he wasn't sure that he didn't still hate him to some degree. Heck maybe he himself hated Mizuki to some extent. For leaving for just up and vanishing and blaming him for it.

"What? why would I- Your the one that started this remember?" He had a point the first little kiss or play at a kiss was Mizuki's doing. "If anything you would be the one toying..." Though that still left the questions unanswered. What was this?

"I don't know what this is... I don't have a answer for you cause I don't have one." He sighed a bit at trying to explain this. "Hell we lived together for years and nothing happened, and now things seem different." Like it was impossible to just go back to being just friends. Maybe it was. He was unsure of what Mizuki wanted from him. He seemed to drop hints and teases but then soon after would walk off or leave.

"I just don't know..." Thinking a moment he maybe should have kept his mouth shut as he spoke again. "Should I stop then? I know I've been encouraging things but if your not sure what this is and I'm not either is it better to just stop?" It was a real question, he wasn't sure if going on was the better option or not. If they did keep this up where would it lead? Let alone did they both want it to continue even? Great he just added to the questions.

"I don't have any proper answers for you, but I'm not toying with you I swear. but I don't know what you want and I don't know what I want. I never expected to even see you again and yet after eight years here you are. Let alone your not at my throat trying to rip it out on the spot." The last part was still a shock, no.. instead they had kissed, twice even, let alone last night...

Mizuki sighed at Thalions response. It was true though and Mizuki could see it from the males point of view. He did start things with that little brush of the lips back then but at the same time Thalion was the one to him that finished it even though it was far from over"Oh yes...I did start it" He stated at that comment "But if I remember correctly you are the one that actually kissed me first" He stated with a little tilt of his head.

A brush of the lips could of been pushed away or forgotten easy enough but that kiss after...now that was the thing to start all of the questiond. Mizuki was not going to place blame for to him they were both guilty. Though as the male continued Mizuki had a mixture of feelings. Thalion didnt know what this was and neither did he. All he knew was that he cared for the male and had for a long time though he was sure even back then that nothing would come from it yet here they were.

As Thalion continued Mizuki sighed to himself and closed his eyes. Yes maybe it would be better just for the males to stop what was going on but at the same time why stop something that was good? Well at least he thought it was good...it could be that Thalion didnt..."So what then..." Mizuki said "Just like that its over before it even began?" He asked with a hint of anger in his voice.

"You know...your still the same" Mizuki said with a little laugh in his voice "Even back then you never knew what you wanted let alone went after it" He said with a shrug of his shoulders "I am no better though...leaving you alone back then because I couldnt life" He said in a bitter tone "Every time I turned around I failed you left, right, and center" Mizuki said with a bit of a growl.

"I didnt know what to do back then" Mizuki began with his head still hung "I...loved you then" Mizuki said "More then anything" He said with a little sad tone "I did all that I could to help and make things better but in the end it all got screwed over and it was my problem" He said in a growl "I couldnt face you after that day...not with knowing I was a failure" Mizuki said as his ears dipped back.

Mizuki sighed lightly before he stood "Times change and with that people change..." He said "I thought we had both changed enough...to maybe actually allow each other to be happy for a single moment in our lives" He said with a sigh "Though now I see I was wrong...there is nothing to be happy over when the one thing that makes you happy is blind to everything around it" With that Mizuki grabbed his cloak and staff and left.

He gave no warning as he walked down the hall alone before leaving the inn and entering the rain outside. It felt good the cool droplets hitting a heated face. He was glad for the rain that fell around him for it covered the tears that dripped down his face. "I have loved you for as long as I can remember Thalion.." Mizuki said to the wind "Thats why it hurts so much...the little things you do" Mizuki said to himself as he walked away into the heavy fall of water.

Maybe Mizuki had a point, though was it fair to count the first one as his fault? Though he probably did know better then to drink that much from the start. Besides it felt... even though he wasn't completely thinking clear that night he remembered just having the other close. The breathing and warmth.. he never said he remembered or enjoyed anything that happened that night, maybe he should have.

Though as the conversation continued the more Mizuki seemed to get upset with it. Hell he use to say he wasn't honest enough and now he was faulting him for admitting he didn't know?! He didn't really want things to be over just like that but to just rush into things seemed a bit reckless. They had barely gotten back to being on terms to talk to one another let alone to carry on with whatever this was.

Though Mizuki seemed to continue saying he was the same as before. Was he? Always in-divisive. Was he still making the same mistakes as before? The last time he did decide on something seemed to be the same day he lost Mizuki as a friend. Mizuki hardly seemed done so there was no chance for Thalion to even defend against anything the other was saying.

Failed? When? He never once recalled thinking or blaming Mizuki for anything that happened. The only thing he would blame on the other was that he left so any hardships that followed were due to him being too stubborn and prideful to accept help back then. If anything he failed, dropping out of school, losing that job that was easy enough and had a decent pay. Heck lets add losing a friend to the mix as well.

But the next words were what hit the hardest. What did he just- yeah he did. How was he suppose to have known back then? Mizuki never said anything or did anything, nothing like what he had been doing recently. Though even with that being said the other never paused long enough to let Thalion say anything. But Mizuki was wrong on a few things they had both changed...

Before the other would have ... no maybe he would have reacted the same. Though before he would have just let Mizuki walk off and know he'd be back sooner or later. This time as the other stormed out of the room he wasn't sure. He was still in a bit of shock from what Mizuki had said. Trying to go over everything to make sure he wasn't having some crazy side effect from something the other had given him. But no he actually heard the other right.

After a few moments he clenched a fist before slamming it on the table. "If thats how you felt why the hell-!" He wanted to accuse him of toying yet he was the one stating that he loved Thalion and then having the nerve to just run off afterwards because a few things were said that he didn't agree with.

He had to admit he was a bit ticked at the moment but none the less he needed to go find the other before he did something stupid. Though going downstairs he was half hoping to see the other but when he didn't he breathed a little sharply before turning to fetch his things. As much as he wanted to save time and rush out after the other going unarmed wasn't the smartest thing to do here.

Going back downstairs Felix noticed him before he tilted his head seeing as Thalion almost seemed to be on the war path from his stride. "Where are you going?" "Out!" Was the sharp reply as Felix blinked a little. "Well I could see that.." He sighed before standing and seeing about fetching the other two. He thought he had just seen Mizuki rush outside but now he was pretty sure of it.

Yeah this was where he needed to be back in the rain still recovering a bit. Not that he was thinking of that at the moment as he tried to figure out where the other had run off to. That was the thing though Mizuki was damn good at not being found when he didn't want to be. He could always ask Luna if maybe she ... no there was no point in dragging anyone else into this. This was his fault and he knew it.

At the least looking for the other was giving him time to calm down, probably better so he didn't start off yelling at Mizuki for darting off like that. Though the longer he thought about it the more of a idiot he felt like for having said half of what he did. Hell he didn't want things to end between them. Where ever this was leading he wanted it to keep going. Maybe deep down he knew that he cared deeply for the other. He had wasted so many years looking when he had every right to give up after a few weeks.

"Damn your a idiot.." He hissed at himself, if he could just get Mizuki to listen long enough to talk to him again maybe he could fix this, maybe- That thought was disrupted as a sudden explosion rang out on the far side of the town. That wasn't good... Screams followed that as the sound of metal against metal seemed to ring out as well.

He had barely gotten around a corner and up the side of a building to get a better vantage point before a small patrol group came along the street. It seemed to be a guild of sorts of players. Though it was all a single race and thats what worried him. From the few times Felix had gotten him to play games he knew some players formed groups to kill or force anyone of certain races to join their guild or whatever. This might be one such case.

Either way he needed to find Mizuki and quickly before anything happened, though it might be wise for him to stay out of sight if at all possible. They had spent most of the day in the room so it was gradually getting darker outside, the storm overhead wasn't helping things for anyone requiring light to see. "Damn it Mizuki where did you run off to.." He said to himself as he couldn't find any trace of the other. This felt all too familiar. He wasn't going to let that happen again.

The leader of this attack seemed to be a group of three females, one was barking orders as the town was over run. Resistance was either killed or captured. Though the inn they had been staying at was far enough away from the attack that they should get out just fine. Mostly they were capturing fighters so long as they could knock them out without killing them. Probably for amusement later. Though seeing what bit he knew about the race he had picked to play as he was unsure if mere amusement was what these females had in mind.

"Make sure to take anything thats of value or use. Also find that stray while your at it. There was a report of one not long ago in this area." Thats all he cared to hear, though the numbers were hardly in his favor. Even if the group had been together they would have had to run. This was a small army.

Mizuki huffed and raged to himself as he walked through the rain. The water falling was already soaked through his cloak and now working on the clothes of his back. Mizuki knew that running away and hiding was what he did best so when the moment came that he didnt want to face what was coming he left. There was no point in staying when he knew the out come. Sighing to himself Mizuki turned a corner and stopped dead in his tracks.

With out even realizing it he had walked all the way to the other side of town. Though thats not what made him stop it was the fact that there just a little ways out of town came a group of players but this was no small group of travelers. No this was a small army!

Mizuki turned and booked it as fast he could but it would seem he only saw part of the little army as another edge of town was attacked. This was when the screaming began as a building blew up. So...it was a raid was it. This really didnt faze Mizuki. In a game like this there was groups of players that bound together for the greater cause. Though something was off with this. Every player that he saw was a drow. So they had traveled from the east mountains to get here and for what?

This was when Mizuki rounded a corner and fell into the mud with an exhale of air "What the hell...watch where you are going!" He heard above him and he cursed his own luck. "Sorry...wont happen again" He stood and began to back away though the men infront of him thought of a different idea as they began to move and circle him. "Well what do we have here" He heard some one say behind him.

"Seems like we have a lost soul" Another said to his right and Mizuki flinched. Yep why did he have to run exactly? Mizukis mind was everywhere though it focused on the moment the second one of the drows reached out and touched his braid "Hmmm white hair...you know thats odd to find in this region" He said as Mizuki jerked back "Yeah dont only high wood elfs have white hair?" One of the men asked and this made Mizuki take a deffensive stance. "Why yes...yes they do"

With that Mizuki growled as he felt the hood yanked down from behind him. Well there was no point in hiding it now. Standing at his full height Mizuki looked at the men before him. All of them seemed to wear the same colors and armor. Turns out he was right when he thought it was guild. Great just what he needed.

"Should we kill him?" one of the males asked and Mizuki was glad that he saw what seemed to be the lead males head shake "No...we need to take this one to Ineara...she would like a new pet" At that Mizuki took a step back. Oh there was no way in hell that he was going to be a pet to some bitch of a drow female. "You can try all you like" He said with a tilt of his head "But the last I checked I was a free man and I plan to stay that way" Mizuki said.

Then the fight was on as the first spell was cast. Dodging, aiming, fighting thats all he did. He needed to stay alive he needed to once again speak to the man he loved. Mizuki hoped to whatever gods that this was going to be the case though that thought ended as he felt the punch to the face fallowed by the hilt of a sword to chest. Coughing Mizuki growled but got back up out of the dirt. They were not going to win that easy.

It took awhile for the men to take him down. Now there he was laying in the mud covered in it and his own blood from countless scrapes, cuts and stab wounds. Least to say he put up a fight though a mages magic lasted as long as his energy and Mizukis was all but gone "Come on now...grab him" With that his arms were grabbed and he was dragged through the dirt and grim around him for he couldnt fight back any longer.

It was not long before the men stopped at a voice that was heard "What on earth is that?" A female voice rang out and the men around her bowed causing Mizuki to fall face first once again into the thick mud below them "A user we thought would make a good per for the mistress" A male said behind him. "Is that so" He heard the female speak. A moment later he felt his braid yanked up and he fallowed with a hiss.

His face was littered with bruises and cuts and his hair was looking more red and brown then anything but he was still a high elf and the female smiled at that "Well well well...a little ways from home are you not elf?" The female said looking down at him "Dont worry...we will give you a new one" Mizuki growled at that but before he could protest or try and fight some more he was dragged off once again.

Now he was picked up and thrown into the back of what seemed to be a large wagon. The only positive thing here was that he was no longer being rained on. Mizuki tried to move and escape but the moment he got to the edge of the cart a guard smiled "I wondered how long it would take before you tried anything" And that was the last he heard as the blunt end of a sword caught his temple and the world around him went black.

This was starting to get almost a bit risky. Foolish in fact staying here. The town was overrun within mere moments and what was he doing? Oh yes looking for a certain someone that ran off. "By the gods I have to be stupid..." In a game where your death probably meant the end for you and he was all but asking for it.

Though there did seem to be a bit of light to this situation. It was then he saw it. Miuzki, he was alive at least though at the moment he looked knocked out. Ok there wasn't that many near the carts that seemed to be holding the captives. This might be worth risking.

Well it would have been if he had been paying a slight bit more attention as someone nearly got the jump on him from behind. "Shit.." He hissed barely avoiding a strike as he spun and already had one of the two blades drawn and sunk into the foes flesh before he even had time to blink. "Great not what I needed.." He pulled the blade back as its mark had been in the neck. Though the sudden commotion drew more attention then he would have liked.

"Well ... you went this far might as well continue being stupid." He laughed a little at the thought before jumping down and catching the fall with a roll before taking out a guards legs in the process of drawing the second blade. Maybe this would work, yeah that was a thought, probably a dream if it worked.

'I swear if I live through this I'm killing you myself or putting a damned shock collar on you or a tracking device or-' He was cursing in his head that he was only out here because of Mizuki. Though that stopped having felt a decent blow finally make contact to the back of his shoulder.

Seemed to be a barbed whip, oh great... Though he couldn't pay it much mind as he cut down another attacker. Though this was getting old quickly. He was still recovering from being sick and here he was in the pouring rain and fighting none the less! This wasn't helping. But stopping meant he was as good as dead at his luck.

This struggle went on a bit longer before Ineara and the other two head females came over to take care of this. Of course by this time he hardly had the energy to fight let alone deal with highly skilled fighters. "Well well..." One started next to Ineara as she flashed a grin. This one was known as Serena. Her weapon of choice was a lance from the looks of it. Though she seemed to be the one more interested in this little find.

"Here I almost thought we weren't going to find you.. though the scouts hardly did your looks any justice." She laughed a little as Thalion seemed ready to strike. "Oh please, your hardly in any shape to fight why not just give up? Besides we traveled quite a ways just to locate you little stray."

"Oh thats a damned shame... but there you found me now you can be on your marry way." Though she had him there he wasn't in any shape to fight, the other fights had taken a toll on him. Not too surprising seeing as there seemed to be no end to them. Besides that these three seemed to be the leaders of this band, that probably meant they were fairly strong.. and what little else he read on drows was that the females generally were stronger.

"Oh no we're not leaving, not till we're done with you." The third one seemed to perk up as Serena seemed to nod before what seemed to be the youngest of the group went forward. More like ported forward he never saw her move and barely blocked the attack. Two handed sword, yet her clothes screamed mage?

He got his answer soon enough as a sudden well aimed shock spell ended up directly into his chest. Rain plus that more or less ended that fight. If he could have caught his breath they might have found a bit more fight but it was all he could muster to breath at the moment. A quick blow from a nearby guard finished the work as the orders were to move out.

They had everything and then some that they came for so it was time to return home. It was a well guarded pass that lead into the cave systems. It was nearly impossible to get the drop on a city like this. The trip back would take come time but no one was going to willingly attack a organized group like this. Even the guards of the town stood not a chance and they were high level fighters to prevent pvp in towns.

It took a couple days ride to the drow capital and in that time Mizuki drifted in and out of awareness. All he knew was that everytime he woke he was being healed from some drow. He didnt have the energy to fight back and that was weird to him since it had been a day or two his energy should of been returned by now. No it would seem that something else was at work here but he didnt know what.

It was not until later that evening that the guild movement slowed as they entered the city. Mizuki only knew that they were there from the change of the sound the wheels made. Now they rolled over stone and dirt. A few moments later Mizuki was prooved right as he was forced from the cart and dragged into a large building.

There he was stripped and bound and cleaned in every way possible. This was when Mizuki realized there was something different at work here. He could feel the heavy weight of something on his neck and that made him think of many different things that it could be but the main one stuck in his head. It was a caller to stop energy build up...hence no magic. So it was a way to keep him tame was it? It work...for now.

After he was primmed and dressed he was set in a room. Well wrather he was chained in a room. At the head of the room sat three chairs. Infront of those chairs was Mizuki chained kneeling on the floor. Bhind him were rows and rows of other chains that soon filled with different men as more and more were brought into the room.

As Mizuki hunched there the only thing running through his mind was that he hoped to all the gods in the world that Thalion never joined those chains.

In the few days ride to get to the capital the group was being taken two were hardly uneventful. Thalion had almost lost count of the times he had been told to mind his tongue and by some that he would swear were younger then him in the other world. He kept daring them to let him go and they'd see who was holding whos tongue.

Needless to say wasted breaths but it was better then just sitting passively like most of these captured lots. Besides that it seemed his fate was to be different from the other captives. But only because the one seemed to be keeping a close eye on him and they didn't really want to kill him. Unless he proved too much of a hassle.

Before they got to the city and into the caverns Thalion ended up being knocked out again. Seems a guard finally got tired of his mouthing off. By the time things were settled and the captives were in the room Mizuki was brought to was when the three leaders seemed to show up walking towards where the chairs were to decide the fates of each one.

Though the three had barely gotten seated as a guard seemed to request assistance with something. Serena smirked a little before resting her head on her hand as she propped her arm up for a moment. "Well seems the runts awake again." She almost sounded excited for that fact. The older of the three seemed to excuse her as she grinned a bit before getting up and walking with the guard out of the room.

Oh that comment had gotten enough rises out of him He hated being short, not that he was overly short but still this woman seemed to love pointing it out. Calling it cute and giving him a nickname of runt and yeah if he got to a blade she was the first one to die.

Though where he had woken up was what surprised him a little. He was expecting a cell or something. Though the chains were expected but still this seemed to be a nicer room compared to just a holding cell. This actually worried him a bit. That was what a voice spoke up from off to the side.

"You'll fair better to hold your head down lad." The voice sounded older, a lot older then most that you would probably hear playing these games. Something rare indeed. "Tsk... surrender isn't in my vocabulary old man." Though a odd place to find a alley this might be one of the few to be found in this place. "I never said surrender... but you catch more flies with honey." Right that was a old saying, he knew what the old man meant. If he wanted any form of freedom to even think about getting out of here he better start sucking up. Oh how he was going to hate all of this, the thought of bowing to these women... it had nothing to do with them being females it had more to do with the methods they seemed to use.

Besides that he needed to know where Mizuki was and if he was alive. That would require them trusting him far enough to give him that much range. If Mizuki was alive he was going to punch him for being a damned idiot. Running off and now looked where they were!

Mizuki knelt there hunched over. He knew what this was it was all a game just to see who they could keep and for what. As they began to go through the players in the room he listened as to what and where each of them were going. Alot were sent into the caves for the expansion and some were sent to the kitchens. A few were sent to die as they seemed to displease the three head women.

Mizuki didnt know his fate. Here he was a high elf in a kingdom of drows...there was no other way to say that he was fucked. This was proven a moment later when he heard the three begin to speak as to what was going to be done with him.

"It was a rare treat indeed" Ineara said as she looked down at him. "To find a wood elf this way east...let alone a high elf" She said tsking her voice. "I wonder what magic this male holds" The female said as she tilted her head looking at Mizuki before them. Mizuki knew better then to speak no that just caused problems down the road. It was easier to just keep silent...for now.

After the talk was over the female nodded "Yes so thats the plan then!" Ineara said as she clapped her hands together "Get him cleaned and dressed...and ready for my mark" She said as she stood and looked at the remaining people in the room "What of the runt?" another asked and this caused a smile to happen "Oh he will break and we will make sure of that" She said "First things first...we need to mark this one...his magic could be an issue" She said before dismissing the room.

The old man apparently was one of the healers here, so he was allowed free range to most ares so long as he kept his mouth shut and that's what he was advising to Thalion. With good reason seeing as he knew that Thalion hardly seemed the type to think about what happens if he refuses long enough. They would grow tired of him sooner or later.

Though he would agree complying with some orders wouldn't hurt but he wasn't going to make it that easy. Giving in too easy would make things look suspicious. Not like he was going anywhere they weren't risking him any freedoms just yet. Not after the fact that he nearly took out a guard when they were trying to move him into this room. That was without weapons and armor.

"Well... what to do with you. Breaking you should be fun and I know your going to need it." She said before walking a circle around where he was chained currently. Oh if he could get a dagger it would be her throat. "Do your worst." He hissed at her almost edging her on as she shuddered a little.

"Keep talking like that and I just might." These were some twisted people that was certain. Either way he knew this was going to involve a lot of pain. Hell so long as they didn't kill Mizuki it'd be worth it. Maybe Felix and the others would... they had no idea where this place was. Well maybe Neimi did, she was the one who studied the game guides like a textbook. 'Don't you dare die Mizuki..'

Though his fears were worse then that, he had glanced over the magic drows had and a lot of it worried him. One of the head females seemed to be a mage. She would be the bigger pain to deal with compared to the other two. If he even got that chance he had to live that long first.

The day went on and as it did he was cleaned and brushed and dressed and all the while he fought tooth and nail. It would seem though that there was orders for him not to be hurt for as he fought he was simply restrained and never once was he hit. It seems as though they wanted him to look his best and that meant no bruises.

Mizuki wondered what was going to be made of him but he would get his answer soon enough as he was chained once more then transported to a different room. Unlike the last this one was covered in drows from one side to the other. The only thing different here was that they were dressed in royal garbs showing status. The more bright of the color the higher class they were.

It seemed odd to him what was happening but at the time time he knew what was about to take place. Mizuki was moved through tables of food and talking drows. Though the talking seemed to stop as he was moved through the players in the room. Mizuki kept his head hung as his eyes closed as he walked silently towards the destination he seemed to be headed.

Once there he was forced to kneel as he was chained to the floor. Mizuki didnt look up as he knelt there. No he waited what he knew was coming he just hoped that it was over soon enough. With the entrance of him came the entrance of others as well. The men that were chosen to be in the guard were now brought into the room in a line of chains all of them now forced to where the color of the queens order.

There was silence before a horn was heard and this was when Mizuki opened his eyes. Light lavender watched as the three females entered. The one he assumed to be the queen took a step forward "My people" Ineara began "Let me be the first to say that our trip was a successful one!" She said with a smile. This was when the room cheered before being silenced. "Not only that..." She began "But a new pet for the castle" This was when the guards that Kept Mizuki hidden moved and gasps filled the room. Next there was whispers of a high wood elf in the halls. Yes it would seem that they thought Mizuki of a comodity more then anything.

Being forced to stand Mizuki was showen to the crowd and all the while he kept his eyes closed. There was no reason to make some unwanted attention for himself. That was until he saw Thalion standing in chains. "No..." He said softly to himself. One thing he had hoped for was that the male got away from this. No instead he was staring right at the one person he didnt want to be here.

"What was that?" Ineara asked and Mizuki stopped dead. Did she hear his faint whisper? Fallowing the gaze of Mizuki Ineara smiled "Hmm seems to me that we have some here that know each other" She said and the crowd around them began a little laugh "All the better to me" She said as she walked forward. Reaching a hand out she placed it on Mizukis shoulder and he hissed as he fell to a knee.

What on earth was that? Mizuki could feel nothing but pain coming from his shoulder but thats not made him cringe it was the fact that Thalion reacted to his pain. No...that was not something you needed to do "Well then...should we do this now?" Ineara asked as she placed two fingers on the back of Mizukis neck at the nape.

Starting a little chant it was meer moments before Mizuki screamed out his pain in agony. It felt like a thousand daggers flowing through his blood as it traveled through his body. He could feel every muscle and joint react to it and yet he didnt know what IT was. Then his mind began to blank and his whimpers of pain stopped. Hunched over his lavender eyes dulled to little color and he did not move.

Moving back Ineara ordered the chains off and once they were gone Mizuki stood "Now come here my pet" The queen said and Mizuki did just as he was told with no resistance. As the queen moved and sat in her chair Mizuki was ordered to sit at her feet and he did just that.

Great this was bloody great. A few days after being caught and Serena never let him out of her sight for too long. Seems now they had more reason to keep a eye on him. Mizuki's little no he had whispered seemed to get the lead females attention. By then it hardly mattered what he did in reaction. He was already screwed as far as things went.

Though unlike Mizuki's fate of being made a pet they hardly cared about teaching Thalion what place he held in the pecking order. Breaking him is what Serena's plan was. Though so far she had done nothing of the sort. But he knew that old man was right that he'd have to give in sooner or later or they would kill him.

Though it seemed they might do worse then that even. After what they just did to Mizuki he wasn't sure what they had done but whatever it was seemed to strip him of any freewill or well anything that made Mizuki himself. Thats what they did if you disobeyed long enough wasn't it? No Mizuki just happened to be on the Queen's good side of her wanting a pet. IF he had been anywhere but this room they might have found out just how much energy he last left for the day from the earlier tortures.

Serena grinned a little noticing the slight change he was trying everything to hide. She moved a little before whispering to him. "Think of this as motivation to behave hrm? Maybe your friend there will live longer if you do." Granted they had no intention of killing Mizuki but it was a good point. If he stepped out of line too far they just might use the other as leverage. They seemed to be against killing their own kind when they needed the numbers.

After the gathering was over as well as whatever method of breaking Serena decided on that day he was back in that damned cell. It seemed at the least the only thing he got to look forward to each day was that the old healer was a book of knowledge of this place. He did not side with the Queen and her sisters but he did like staying alive thus he followed orders. Apparently there were a number like that.

As the older elf walked into the room Thalion finally got a moment to release just how ticked he was. A melted cuff on the floor was rather good proof of that. "So bad day I take it?" The old man started before going about his job of keeping Thalion alive. Though when he got no answer he laughed a little. "I keep telling you fighting is only making it harder on yourself."

Though he had heard about the Queen's new pet. He was guessing it had to do with that. Though he was also rather use to Thalion not talking much at all unless he had a smart comment to say. Not that he could blame him, trust was not something easily given.

"What is she going to do with him?" He finally asked something as the old man tended to another wound. He sighed a little. "She doesn't keep pets long, she easily grows tired of them. If I were you I'd morn your friend while you are able and accept he is gone. No one has recovered from that spell used." Though Thalion never said anything further. Accept the loss, he couldn't do that. He was here because of Mizuki and damnit he was going to fix this. Even if that meant he had to destroy this whole place in order to do it.

Mizuki didnt know up from down as he fallowed orders. In his head he could see everything he did and he protested it all but his body moved with out his will and it made him feel defeated. Was his magic really in no comparison to that of the female drows? Such a simple spell could control everything that he was?

Mizuki didnt want to believe that yet here he was doing everything that was asked of him and then some. He did simple things like get drinks or bring whatever was requested. Yes he was turned into a dog and it bothered him.

As the days went by things began to change. Not only was he forced to learn magic and train the queen seemed to like his little displays. Rumor began to spread that the queen had found a prize she planned to keep. That something was different about her new pet but little questioned it. As it was a month had passed and Mizuki was still under the queens hand doing everything she wished from simple magic to killing who she asked.

Now the queen sat in a high chair with her two sisters on either side of her and her pet behind her. Mizuki stood there with his hair dun up in a large bun on the back of his head. Clips of jewels held it together. Garments of the queens colors of red black and orange covered little skin showing bruises on the paleness.

"I am bored...let the show begin" the queen said waving her hand. The room was circled. Around the edges nobles sat drinking and eating waiting for what was to come. In the middle was a sand pit that was dug down deep into the earth. As the word was sounded the first was set on the stage. Two males one a barbarian and another a mage set to fight to the death. It was a show for nobles after all.

As the fights went on the queen grew bored. Ineara huffed "Well this is no longer fun..." She said as she rested her head on her hand "Well then sister...should we make it more entertaining?" Serena asked her sister looking over to her "Your pet against mine" She said lightly "Unless you were not able to teach that thing hand to hand like you sssooooo wanted to" Serena said in a gloating voice causing the queen to growl "Summon your dog" Was all she said

Even with the older males advice to hold his head down and to accept that things were going to be this way he fought for a while longer. Though in his mind it was all a damned show. To give in that same day would have been too easy. No he was going to make her work for what she wanted. Of course he had paid for this defiance but that hardly meant anything to him.

Each day that went by after he seemed to go along with Serena's orders. Though what she was more thrilled about was having a more then capable fighter under her thumb. He was rather good at playing the whipped dog role he seemed to be forced into. Though he was doing this for the sole purpose of trying to get near Mizuki. He wasn't going to leave here without the other.

After a while the days almost blurred together and he had to admit he hated being this way, though the good news was he was building a reputation along the way. Though he hardly wanted one, he would rather just be known as the runt or dog or whatever they wanted to call him. Most that used such names he was hardly worried about. Serena however she was marked rather high on his list. It was a hard choice between her or her Queen sister as to who he wanted to run a blade through more.

But he had to bide his time, that was the hardest thing about this was keeping his mouth shut and accepting orders that he didn't want to carry out and obeying every command. Though he was told they wouldn't be using that little trick her elder sister used. No they needed him to be aware of everything. Fighters were useless if they had their minds erased.

Though today seemed to be a bit different as he was bothered. It seemed his 'keeper' had need of him. Though as soon as he followed the messenger he knew exactly what this need was. Great he had to do this all over? He had proven himself a number of damn times in similar pits. Though this time it seemed different.

This time instead of some poor sob that they randomly threw in or some lowly ranked solider they cared less if they were killed it was Mizuki. At the other end of this arena stood Mizuki. the same glazed over expression as the day that spell happened. Oh this was great they were going to make them fight? Really that was what this was about and all the sudden excitement that buzzed about the room. He couldn't kill Mizuki. Well he could but there was no way he would be able to bring himself to.

Plus he was sure the other had been going through training similar to whatever hell he had been going through. Right awya the Queen seemed amused by this though Thalion did well to hide any thoughts he was having. Though all of them said he needed to get Mizuki out of here, no matter what. But that wasn't going to happen here there were too many on lookers and too many of them he had no idea what powers they had. Yes he had been keeping a list of who could do what and how much power they held.
