A lot of my items are what people donated to for the prize pool. And like, i want to wear them, just to let people know they could win them. But then at the same time i dont want the people who donated them to think im using the thread to get free items. I also dont want to get attached. xD |

My mom is probably getting fired soon.
:/ She's been loyal for seven years. Never asked for days off, where as the other employees ask for days off five times a month. They hired this guy a year ago who's just basically their to tell them what they need to do with their finances and what not. And he hates my mom for whatever reason. He's made racist comments to her, like calling her taco cause she's Spanish. Which makes no sense cause Mexicans are the ones who eat those. He's sexually harassed her and she filed a complaint and the owner just told her to get her big girl panties on. Like what the fuck. The owners wife has always disliked my mom and has been trying to get rid of her all seven years. But the owner would not let it happen. Until the fucking moron they hired came into the picture. :/ |

Yeah. And im just here patting her back or awkwardly standing there staring at her when she cries. .-. My mom says the company doesnt have much mora money. And if they keep paying this guy SEVEN FUCKING HUNDRED A FUCKING DAY that they're going out of bizznuss (i know, spelled wrong) soon. It just pisses me off. For the last two months she's been making mistakes, and not sleeping well cause she's been so stressed about it. Every time she would ask them if she has to worry about anything they would flat out lie to her. Bernie (the fuckface racist pig) has turned EVERYONE against my mom. So even if she did sue, itd be their word against hers. .-. She's been looking online for more places to work. Found a lot. But the place she's working at now is a placement agency and all the jobs could have been linked to the company. So they'd have known. And then like two weeks ago my mom brought up all these points to them about why she has every right to worry, and the owners wife said, "You're right. We've been lying. I can see why you're worried" And they just left it at that, like thanks you fuckers. And she had the same conversation with the owner. And all he said was, "We're not getting rid of you. But you wont be working at this building anymore, you're gonna be working at a different one." Which is probably a lie. Cause back in January everyone had to sign these forms that are like reasons as to why they could get fired. And the owners wife had my moms right on the top of her desk. And she wanted to talk to my mom. And my mom saw them and the owner quickly covered them up. So not only are they going to fire her, but they're going to make up a fucking reason. I feel so utterly useless. And pissed off at the same time. Vice. Id much rather want to do all of this Dexter style. |
If they fire her over looking for another job, that would be placed under wrongful termination, I do believe.
If she felt the need to sue, that's what gathering evidence is for. I still haven't watched Dexter, so I can only guess that the killing is methodical which luckily, is my style of thought. I remember having discussions with certain classmates during Law class about the best ways to dispose of a body: pigs are the best as they eat everything. But torture is more fun and carries a sadistic tune to it that pleases moi~ What are these forms with so called reasons to be fired over? |

Loyalty, I hate to say, means little in the work world. However, a financial manager, I'd have thought, should only dislike an employee due to them being a potential financial liability. It could be health issues (drive insurance costs up), not understanding/being capable of the work expected of you, or something like that. If the financial adviser is against her for rejecting his perverted advances, he is clearly not up to sticking to the task he was assigned. (improving/managing the company's finances)
As to the wife...unless it is jealousy, a difference of opinion (in which she is being bigoted), or anger at having her husband disrupted (interpreting perhaps the reports of Sexual Harrassment as an attack on the owner/her husband, and therefore being defensive), I don't really understand why she is like that. A company I'm familiar with has sort of the opposite problem...and I am sorry to say that I don't know how to help with either of them. A lawsuit at least could clear your mother's name for other companies. Perhaps she could look into being hired by a competitor in the same field? |
I hope she can find a better, nicer job very soon and not have to worry about all that nonsense any more.
I was pretty much kicked to the curb from my last job after breaking my big toe. I got a better job just before Thanksgiving. |

I was wonky from my new glasses for 2 weeks, still am a bit; then my brain is scattered due to allergies, so I have a inkling of jet lag most of the time, I think.

The issues mine were giving me were: it's been over a decade since I had an update; they threw off my peripheral vision and my dominant eye was being confused as the other eye was being forced to be the dominant one.
They still give me headaches if I look anywhere but straight ahead whilst walking. How old is thy boy, if I may inquire? |
