Yes. There are many, many more things I would love to do if I had another tool for those multi-colored commons. As it is, though, I might stab myself in the eye if I had to do them all by hand.
I mean. I probably should have added the base colors to the recolor tool template when I did it, that would have helped the situation now, but our body parts are usually so few and far between that it didn't matter. Bluh. |

Having 148k+ aurum on hand should be plenty with some of the donation currency given out as well. XD And honorable mentions can get crane game items as well. :3 But like I said, that will have to wait. XD

I'm itching to do some art. XD I have a question, if I did a basic sketch of an item and one of the artists (I don't know if there's anyone besides Galla and Him right now) wanted to polish it up would that be alright? I mean, I can try to make it an actual item, but I don't know when I'll get around to that to be honest. x'D

Uhm. It's possible, ml, but obviously I can't make any promises. We have a lot of user designs as it is that were supposed to be done, but sort of weren't? I'll be honest, even the contests I was around for, I wasn't particularly involved in any of them, and there are quite a few I never saw at all. I have no idea how many designs there are left to be made into items. I'm not really sure what to do about that mess, and I would hate for one of those contest winners to get upset if we started releasing new designs from users instead. Illusion had one of said designs, and Espy has some, among the other designs they've done during their stint as an artist ofc. A few got done as commons. I don't know how many there are. I started saying no to user design contests a while back when I saw how bad we were at keeping promises, lol... |
Well I was going to post them in my art thread, that way if one of them saw it and liked it they could make it an item if they wanted to. I'm not trying to submit something or anything, I was just wondering because I'm getting into an artsy mood. x'D

Took a peek in the shops and saw the Adam items, those will be so cool for customizing the avis more! XD But because I'm obsessed with options I'll probably be buying three each of the chest ones and probably at least two of the others. x'D Once I finish my list. >>;

So, I sort of failed utterly at finishing the commons I had going. Sorry guys.
But a new item has been added to the shops, another part of the Adam set. This means that half of the set has been released! There's 6 items left to go! And if I forget about them again, y'all are definitely allowed to yell at me! |

Thanks guys, but I still definitely dropped the ball on that.
So, the rest of the set will be made up of hands, belly, hips, eyes, feet, and forearms. All together, a full Adam set should be able to be put together into an entire base, with maaaaybe a tiny gap or two in the arm and side. I'm excited about it. Not the gaps, all the fun scars and seams they'll make. After that, I have more files to look through for items (seriously, the files are a mess, y'all do not want to see them), and if I don't find anything, I'm going to be doing some hair edits so we can have fades and things. Let me know if there are any styles you'd like to see as just bangs, or just buns/ponytails, or anything like that because those edits would be easy to do. |
Are there seperated versions of the Twin Bob Hair, Front Fringe Hair, Pink Figaroa Hair, India Hair, Brown Ringlet Hair, Quail Hair, Loli Hair, Cyber Knight, Street Tagger Hair, Swoosh Hair (multi-colored or rainbow maybe? X3), Long Spiked Pony, Pandora's Hair (maybe other colors?), Down Spike Hair, Kid Spike Hair, Messy Buns Hair, London Jacked Buzz Mohawk, and Ire Hair (multi-colored or rainbow?).

Aha, don't ask for much, do you? Let me just go through these as you listed them.
The Twin Bob is a really old one. I can definitely make it without the buns. The buns on their own, however... http://i.imgur.com/VTGvsbN.png You can see how the main part of the hair extends past the base's head. The buns can still be done, but to look their best, they would be put in below layers, meaning that they wouldn't layer the same way as the original version of the hair does. Front Fringe can be cut into bangs easily. Figaroa can be cut into bangs easily enough, but I'd need a pixelist to make a version without the bangs that doesn't look weird. And by weird, I mean a hairline at the top of your head. India can be cut into bangs, but making the bun separate has the same issues as the Twin Bob, with the added complication of the strands that curl over the rest of the style. To look like it should, it would need a really good edit to make it still layerable over the base. For the Ringlet hair... I think I could do a version with only the front ringlets and the bangs, and a version with just the bangs, so that you can get the effect of colored curls on either side. No below version is needed because the same effect can be achieved by purchasing a Second Skin. The Quail hair, I assume you'd be looking to have a version of only the bun and long curly hair thinger thing? In which case, try using Head of Adam over it. It leaves a bit of an outline, but it's easy to cover and lets you keep the hair over the base. Loli, bangs could be made with a little work. The pigtails would need editing to come on their own, so I suggest Head of Adam again. Cyber Knight... without the side buzz I'm guessing? That's easy enough. Street Tagger, if you want the back then again Head of Adam or Second Skin, the bangs would be easy enough. (sensing a pattern yet? I sure am.) Swoosh, let me first say that looking up that style let me find an incorrectly named Liberty Spikes hair, so thanks. Multi-colored is doable, but I'm not sure what you had in mind. Tips? Different colored spikes? I think they'd be about the same amount of work, but I like to be sure about multi-colored items before I do them because of the time needed to be put into them. Long Spiked Pony: yes. bangs and pony are both doable, and I would love to do them both. Pandora I was literally just thinking about last night. I don't have the original files for it, so anything I do won't be the same by any means, but I think I can get a couple versions of it done. Bangs, short cut (without the braid), and the braid on its own. I think I can edit out the gem at the bottom of the braid, in which case, the style can come in all standard colors. Down Spike, and actually all of the free hairs, I want to look into doing some equally free edits of. Not sure which or what, but it's def something I want to do. Kid Spike I've been dying to do, so I can guarantee a just the bangs version right now. If the spikes can be done on their own nicely enough, I'd like to do that, too, because it's a really nice style, but I'd have to actually get into editing it to say for sure. Messy Buns is another case of bangs would be easy, but just the buns a lot more difficult. I think I might be able to edit it, but no promises. That right side bun would be tricky because of how much is being hidden by the rest of the hair that would need to show if they were standalone. The only other versions of London Jacked I would consider would be some sort of fade or multi-color, in which case, tell me what you had in mind. Otherwise, the Buzz and not Buzz versions can be layered to have a different color mohawk from the rest, not to mention the unrelated Shaved Hair we have for an alternative look, and most of it is easily covered by other hairs or hats as it is. Feel free to convince me otherwise, but as of right now, I'm hesitant to do anything else with that hair. Ire I feel the same as Swoosh. Let me know what you had in mind. Short styles like those will be a bit difficult for me to edit and make look good, even if it's only the colors being edited. I am definitely not a pixelist, and it's not a lot of room to make smooth seams between colors. I'm also interested in making a short style out of Avril Hair, because I love the back sweep that style has. Chiraz/Chiriz I was thinking of cutting the bangs out of them, and perhaps making a just the bun version, but there are a lot of versions of that hair as it is. I would like someone else's thoughts before I work on it. Lastly, many of the Pigtails were uploaded incorrectly when we were expanding our color selection and will need to be fixed. I'm not sure when that'll happen, as all of the incorrect ones need to be removed and remade, but I am well aware of the issue. |

India Hair - Just the bangs would be fine because they could go over the back portion that has the bun. Quail Hair - I was just thinking of just the main head section and then the curl that comes down since there are plenty of hairs that will work nicely with it. Street Tagger - I just wanted the bangs. :3 Swoosh Hair - spikes being different colors. :3 Messy Buns Hair - doing the bangs is fine, most of the things I'm suggesting is just to do different colors for the same hair, I know some will be hard to split into parts. Ire Hair - I'd just make colored tips that can overlay on top of the existing hair, so literally just cutting out unneeded bits of hair. London Jacked Mohawk - I was thinking of maybe a tail section that can be a different color. :3 Chiraz/Chiriz - You know, when I first saw these two I didn't notice the difference between them because they look almost exactly the same. ^^; I would just get rid of the thin, wispy strands and go for bigger bangs, like something that swoops from the front down to the side some more. ^^; I kind of figured you'd work on getting the pigtails done. x'D |

Separate tips, as tempting as it is, isn't something that we're about to do. With very few older exceptions, we don't want to make items that require another to be usable, and taking the tips off of hairs would definitely qualify. So, if I end up doing tips, it'll either be on multi-colored versions, or shade fading like Sonny Hair has. That goes for both shorter styles like Ira and longer ones. Uuuuhhhhh I can do just the tail for London Jacked, yeah. |
