Thanks. I...hope it's not too R-rated. It didn't really occur to me that the jellyfish things look like blood until after I was done :|

...Also, I have 1.50 Aurum.

Espy 11-01-2015 08:32 PM

In other news, uh. Do we have anything like a bleeding mouth? I recall that being a thing somewhere.

Glitch 11-01-2015 08:39 PM

There's the bloody vomit thing ouo

Espy 11-01-2015 08:46 PM

....Wait what? I'm confused.

ml1201 11-01-2015 09:17 PM

I think I saw Glitch wearing it, it's an item that makes it looking like the avi is throwing up blood. .-.

Gallagher 11-01-2015 09:18 PM

and bones. cant forget the bones.

Glitch 11-01-2015 09:38 PM

Or you can be a fountain!

Sei 11-01-2015 09:53 PM

Lawtan 11-01-2015 10:25 PM

Espy looks amazing O.O
I did not know those two background items would actually work together.

Also, really like Illusion's Cheapest Costume.

Espy 11-02-2015 12:13 AM

Which two background items?

Also, the wolfhead mount thing isn't new; I did it for a previous avatar that can probably be found somewhere in my closet.

Lawtan 11-02-2015 12:16 AM

I had been having trouble getting the Tenebrous Reve to work well without obscuring it. What you did worked very well. (Realization that the other ground item is actually two items I don't recognize)

Illusion 11-02-2015 12:25 AM

*looks at espy and lawtan*

Whatever happen to being spoopy and not spooky?

It looks like Collection of Embers and something else...

Espy 11-02-2015 01:33 AM

The tree and tree stump are from Phaunos. The red puddle is from the original Verdant Lagoon.

Also, for the bleeding mouth thing, I meant like when people in anime/movies get beat up in a fight and they start bleeding from the corner of their mouth.

I wish it was this easy IRL to make awesome Halloween costumes...

ml1201 11-04-2015 08:29 AM

Same here, because then I also wouldn't have to spend real money on it. x'D

Awen Moonshine 11-04-2015 10:16 AM

I know that feeling, I think I spend more money on things for cosplay purposes than I do on actual clothes for me to wear everyday ^_^;;

ml1201 11-04-2015 01:19 PM

Then just make cosplay things you can wear everyday. Problem solved! :D

Maro 11-04-2015 03:53 PM

I am highly tempted to join this and try and make a good costume... hmmm...

Awen Moonshine 11-04-2015 05:20 PM

That's what I try to do ML, but I also want to do some spectacular costumes too ^_^;; And therein lies the problem XD

LOL the funny thing is, in my comic, most of the female characters wear stuff that is based on things I actually own, and thus would be fairly easy for other cosplayers to replicate. Same with the guys, to an extent. I tend to dress pretty androgynously, and that factored into costume designs.

ml1201 11-04-2015 09:31 PM

@Awen
Wear the fancy ones to parties and get togethers since people tend to dress nicely for those. >:D

Just throw a bunch of items on and your submission would be titled:

"Overdressing for Halloween" or something like that. xDD

I read a thing once about how the character designers for Dragon Age Inquisition wanted to make the character costumes convenient for cosplayers, so they made sure to include pouches and pockets in the character's outfits so cosplayers could have places to hold their cell phones, wallets, and other stuff they have to carry around. It also doubles as making sense that even in-universe people probably needed pockets.

I should prolly consider that for one of my characters... though to be fair, I could just add pockets to one of her accessories... Though people may be cursing my name in a later chapter, because I've been researching historical outfits for the region of the world that the comic's set in...

Awen Moonshine 11-05-2015 05:46 AM

Lol.. I already have a bunch of nice clothes for those sorts of situations that I never get to wear ^_^;; That or I just wear my kimono ^_^;;

I love when the characters costume designs have little intricacies that make wearing it places easier. But I also really like the highly impractical ones too so I can dump everything on my partner to carry *Is a bad person* ^_^;;

I love Lawtan's classic's costume.

Very original/presh with a ph.

ml1201 11-06-2015 05:50 PM

It kind of reminds me of a mindflare. x'D

Espy 11-07-2015 04:28 PM

Man, trying to figure out a vampire is hard. ...Why is that even hard? I used to be good at that kind of stuff =__=
