Cupcakedolly lives in uhm somewhere up around seattle -but not - ouo

((I hope I know what we are talking about))

There's a super duper horde of rain outside ouo

Oregon has got the worst of this batch of storms. O-O; There were so many pictures of flooding on the news.

Tas 12-11-2015 01:17 AM

it's been pretty stormy up here in Washington too. There was some pretty crazy lightning and thunder the other night.

Heh. Well I wouldn't know except for having driven past them repeatedly on road trips. I know I forgot a couple, too. By Provincial standards, Kamloops is actually one of the lerger cities in BC. It's 7th at around 74 000 people. Fort St. John is at 19 with a little under 20 000. Looking at a list of the top 100 "population centers." 30-100 are all under 10k.

Which Vancouver, Glitch? There's one in Washington, too. ;)

Glitch 12-11-2015 02:59 AM

No lightening or thunder :'( Just tons of rain and lots of wind. I'm not in Portland but right outside of it, uphill though!

Tas 12-11-2015 03:05 AM

gotta love rain.

Fulkth 12-11-2015 03:22 AM

Speaking of weather....today has been a shitty day. Windy with blowing snow. And cold.

Tas 12-11-2015 04:47 AM

I don't mind wind and rain and snow and stuff, but I hate being cold. o__o

Glitch 12-11-2015 04:50 AM

The Washington Vancouver :p

Tas 12-11-2015 04:52 AM

wow, another Washingtonian? Nice! :>

Coda 12-11-2015 02:36 PM

I don't live particularly far from Ontario, CA.

Lucid: 12-11-2015 04:03 PM

It was crazy windy here in Utah yesterday. Funny thing is, it was windy ALL DAY and then it calmed down at night. My power went out at 10 pm and wasn't restored until well after I fell asleep (midnight). All the while there was no wind. I don't even understand how that happened. At least when I had wind storms in Washington the power went out WHILE the wind was howling. -_-

Fulkth 12-12-2015 02:00 PM

I don't know what the weather is like outside today, but it was snowing a lot yesterday!

It sucks to drive in it, but at least we will be having a white Christmas!

Monorea 12-12-2015 02:16 PM

Here in Sweden it has been a usually clear day but otherwise the weather has been boring today. Sunrise was beautiful as usual tho.
But i suspect the weather will get worse tonight/tomorrow since i have a bad headache.

Ireland 12-12-2015 04:35 PM

So I'm originally from Oregon - and a river near the town I grew up in is flooding. The Pick n' Pull is almost entirely flooded and my BF's new place is near the same river. Thankfully her house is up high enough that it *shouldn't* cause an issues for her and her family.

Today there is more rain and I'm sure I'll be hearing about more flooding. D:
I wish it was SNOW >(

Monorea 12-12-2015 04:46 PM

Here i would rather have rain than snow, no snow now but it's mostly just an irritation that makes everyone cold.
And even tho we are under sea level it's mostly in spring we need to worry about too much rain.

Glitch 12-12-2015 04:58 PM

I have hello kitty rain boots in case I need to go outside ouo

Fulkth 12-12-2015 05:26 PM

I have hello kitty pajamas and notepad paper!

Ireland 12-12-2015 11:49 PM

I wear boots A LOT so I'm pretty set for the rain. :3

Though I wish I could get a pair of cute rain boots...but my calves are too big D:

Glitch 12-13-2015 12:00 AM

these things are huge i bet they'd fit you ouo

Ireland 12-13-2015 12:08 AM

X3

That would be awesome.

Tas 12-13-2015 01:14 AM

I wish I had some decent boots. o__o

Lucid: 12-13-2015 02:15 AM

I haven't owned rain boots since I was a kid. I always wore high heels in the rain. Strange, you may think, but not so! I am very short, so my pants would usually drag in the puddles and soak water up to my knees. My high heels kept my pants up and out of the water! :D

Coda 12-13-2015 02:16 AM

Me... I just hem my pants. :P

Glitch 12-13-2015 05:10 AM

They make me look like I am wearing big rubber boots when I was like 3 XD they are that big.

Fulkth 12-13-2015 12:29 PM

I have decided that I can't walk for shit in high heels. No more buying high heels that I can't walk in. From now on, I am going to just buy flats!

Glitch 12-13-2015 02:05 PM

i hear you! I am really tall so I only wear flats! If I put heels on all of the guys get intimidated D:

Fulkth 12-13-2015 02:19 PM

It's so true! Guys usually like girls who are shorter than them.
I'm really short, so I could use the heels to make me taller, but the last time I wore heels I slipped down a few stairs because it was slippery outside. It can be dangerous to wear heels sometimes!

Pffft. Only lame guys.

And I keep 2 spare pairs of shoes in my car. I don't know what it is about them, but I would rather have soggy shoes than wear rain boots.

Tohopekaliga 12-13-2015 04:51 PM

I don't think I've ever met a girl taller than me.

I know they exist, I just haven't met one.

Tas 12-13-2015 04:51 PM

haha, how tall are you, Tohopek?

Ireland 12-13-2015 04:53 PM

I always have to roll up my pants because I'm short too - and I always just wore boots when it was raining. lol

Glitch 12-13-2015 05:49 PM

I have a very hard time finding pants because they are always too short! I have to get 7-extra long and if they don't have extra long, i either have to decide if they can be worn as capris or just not get pants. So I have like 3 pairs. . . haha

I would much rather be short, you stick out in a crowd up here D:

Tohopekaliga 12-13-2015 06:01 PM

I am 6'1" tall.

Not short, by any means.

Coda 12-13-2015 06:21 PM

There was a girl that was 6'2" in my high school graduating class.

oh my, not short at all!

Tohopekaliga 12-13-2015 07:03 PM

6'2" is quite tall indeed. :O

Like I said, I know there are ladies that tall (Lady Brianne of Tarth), but I haven't met any.

Coda 12-13-2015 07:05 PM

It should come as no surprise that she played women's basketball. :P

Tohopekaliga 12-13-2015 07:10 PM

Shocking, I'm sure, lol.

Ireland 12-13-2015 07:56 PM

My friend and co-Guild Leader at our Ren Faire (yes, I'm part of the Ren Faire) is 6'5".

>___>

I'm 5'2".

Things get comical. X3

Lucid: 12-13-2015 08:02 PM

Mmmyes, Toho is pretty tall.

I'm 5'2" myself. I can put on my tallest heels and still only come up to Toho's shoulder. :P

I don't have a problem walking in heels, but the heel caps that hide away the giant metal rod that supports the heel have broken off my black shoes and I'm way too cheap to buy new ones, so I mostly just wear flats nowadays.
