Fair enough Galla. I don't think I really post enough for a pattern to be noticed. Honestly, I tend towards making avatars based on my characters. Either OCs or from video games. It would be difficult to establish a pattern off of that.
When I do make avatars that aren't based on characters, though, I tend towards trying to get the colors to match closely while also following a basic theme that I have in mind. I do tend towards darker color schemes more often then not, but I try to break away from that from time to time, as with my current avatar. Honestly, with this one I just wanted something that made me think Goddess. I will admit that my color schemes most often involve only 2 colors. It's rare that I include a 3rd color, and I don't think I've ever included a 4th. |

I feel this one is difficult. So, Analysis:
#1 - "older" items, looks monochrome, and the moon is in front of the clouds #2 - "newer" items, hair is confusing (is it two or one?), snow behind the avatar #3 - Very red, has freckles, and blood item on red skin #4 - two-colored, mild detail (two different hairs, I think), old shield item #5 - old background item...I think old items in general? *turns into a tree stump* Everyone's trying to stump the other, aren't they? |

Pretty nice analysis, Law.
1. the moon is too bright/contrasted for the possible items to be only one of them. 2. definitely one hair, rig not common 3. the skin is transparent, that's the bg showing through 4. still just one hair, token shop 5. sky part of the bg is newer, rest is accurate Congrats on getting that one. |

Not particularly. Since it was a limited event item, not everyone has access to it, and those that do don't uuuuuusually wear it pretty much on its own.
