Sometimes the Pokestops bug out and nothing drops, but spinning the sign/icon thing is supposed to get you pokeballs, eggs, healing items, ect...

My First 2KM Egg hatched into a Charmander ovo

I hatched a Horsea which made me super happy.
Spent a good 3 hours at the park walking around and chatting with other go players. And then it was raining so no one wanted to go out but the mystics were prepared and had umbrellas. So we walked around and took over all of the gyms while Valor stayed under the shelter. It was hilarious.

Anyway, Something I've hoped to happen to the franchise.

...I mean, Pokemon essentially takes the field aspect of: Biology, Geology, and Anthropology...simplifies it...adds a spoonful of god-based power...and gives it to kids. So, naturally, Pokemon should inspire interest in those fields of science.

You occasionally get them from PokeStops and from leveling up.

The pokestops keep giving me eggs >-> I'm running out of space and My pokes arent ready for the Gyms =w=

Went to the community college tonight for a half hour walk....just got home 2 hours later XD
We found lots of people walking around, there is about 9 pokestops within a one mile radius so all of us were pretty much just walking in haphazard loops XD
Almost 200 pokeballs, and I got myself a Dratini!

f I can play on my iPhone 4S, even as they say it won't work, I am sure your phone is fine. :) It only crashes when the peeps got off work for me as well. xD
A tip is to get a power bank, and keep it with you while out, in case you need to charge. Also, don't leave without fully charge your device from home. xD The 3G net and the app itself eats battery like cake, and then it might be a time when the sun is shining, and yo need to increase the brightness of your screen, which also drains battery.
I was wondering if you could use the game in Low Power Mode, without the screen locking?

There are two different major competing mobile technologies, DK, and you should make sure that phone will work with your plan BEFORE you get it, because there's a 50% chance it won't.

If Tracfone needs a SIM card, and that phone can't accept a SIM card, then it's not going to work.

Yeah, Ginny and I did that with a monument in Little Tokyo... We both claimed it in the names of Team Mystic and Team Instinct, and then a crowd of Valor guys leaning against the monument reclaimed it.

So, how do you all feel about playing the first pokemon game where you, the player, are part of one of the bad guy teams? :P

How it every one on their data useage? I have heard it is really bad but then I look at mine and I am like "Yeah no…." I have played over 24 hours and still haven't hit a Gig of Data.

It's bad compared to most mobile games, and I imagine it's worse than turn-by-turn directions, but it's nothing compared to streaming video.

I looked up what Battery Saver mode does and it's not what I expected at all. XD It doesn't reduce battery usage by reducing how often it updates things... it just turns on a mode where you can turn your phone upside-down and it shuts off the backlight so the game can keep running when you're not actively looking at it. ^^()

Really because I have been playing Avengers Academy the same amount of time as Pokemon Go and Avengers Academy has used more. (Yes I set my Data to zero as soon as I installed the app for comparison)

It reduces the battery usage by not running the graphics, which i find helpful when running but yeah… not much else.

Naw, all the teams are. You join a gang, right off the bat, and proceed to get into turf wars with rival gangs, all while mercilessly capturing as many pokemon as you possibly can to send back to the "professor".

You can't reset your data meter after installation for a fair comparison. You have to do it after you've played both games for a while. LOTS of mobile games don't actually finish installing right away because they pick up game assets at runtime instead of making the initial install bigger. (This also makes it possible for them to do content updates without waiting for Apple's approval to release an app update.)

Now that you've been playing the games for a while, a good test would be to reset it now and then go play each game for exactly the same amount of time.

Tracfone seems to like GSM phones better than the other kind and I saw they accepted Blu models somewhere so I think I'm all good once i get a sim thingy. I will need a Mini SIM right? o3o

Windows phones get the shaft in pretty much every way. Effectively no one has a Windows phone so effectively no one makes Windows phone apps. It's just not worth paying developers to work on things that so few people will pay for.
