i keep trying to get an orange one... and another banana. =)
:/ Trying to decide whether I want to write about WWII soldiers who also happen to be vampires, or if I want to write about the adventures and mishaps of tiny Transformers for NaNoWriMo. Either one would involve research...

It is currently so hot in my apartment that the fan's blowing warm air. *melting*
oh that's not good at all, Tam! ick.
I am trying to make pretty things for a friend but it isn't working.
I took a shower.
And was sitting here dripping wet in front of the fan, and still too warm. I'm wondering if I was just hot flashing AGAIN. |
come over and hang out in my AC! =)
*crawls into nest and withers away*
So tired...to much work....to many people around...to many time schedules to abide by..... to many in general |
i've got my blanket

But I saw a baby giraffe! |
ooh, a baby giraffe!
*converts 27C to.... 80F* eh, that's not so bad. try ... *converts from F to C* 32C. my older daughter did that at Longwood Gardens last weekend. and it was HUMID. ick. |
Yup, a baby reticulated giraffe.
And I wouldn't be functional in that weather, Trys. I'm still feeling amazed and telling God thanks that I didn't wind up with heat stroke or a headache from the brightness yesterday. LOL I guess drinking water like a fish helped. Every refreshment kiosk we went past nearly, I stopped and asked them to refill my bottle. And then when we got back to the car we had a Runa each for a bit of caffeine and natural sugar. |
hubby used to say i 'melt' at 85F. now it's more like 80F/27C, so i totally understand about not wanting to be outside when it's just a little warm.
and yeah, the water probably did help. =) |
Yeah...I get rather ill in extreme weather, though I seem to have good endurance.
(Was 90-105 about a week or two ago) |
Law... where are you at? that sounds like my weather (actual and heat index) from last week!
Southeastern USA. *Strums hillbilly banjo music*
ah. i'm southeastern... Pennsylvania. =)
NC! It is hot as balls but at least it isn't Florida!
i agree with you there, Tiva!
also... what hairs does your avi have? the bangs and the hair on the shoulder is cute! |
Mandrina Fringe(Bangs), Framing Hair (base), Quail Hair (for the bun), Quail Curl (for the front curl)
ah, thanks! i'll check 'em out. =)

SC or TN are my guesses. XD
Ummm…. West of me is TN, SC it south of my at all points….
so TN it is... unless it's further west.
Give me a river, and old Blues tunes...
Juxtaposing classic TN stereotypes with metal and Undertale... Humor, I am the swiss cheese that stays in the corner like a shadow in the night. I am the leftover bun of the hot dog on a hot summer's day. I am the gravy dish that the dog had yesterday. I AM THE L.A.W.! (Lacking All Wit) Anyway, one of my professors was a NC person. She made a point that folk tease her about it because of things like laws proposed to say "evolution shouldn't be taught in schools" and all. (Though TN isn't any better there... xD) |
LOL! that's kinda funny, Law. =)
Dont remind me…. God we had such a weird Bio class… but at least it wasn't Christian school NO EVOLUTION EVER rules.
i went to a public high school. =)
I remember arguing with my biology teacher, trying to convince her that climate change was a thing. :P
that sounds like it could have been fun. XD
I argued with my grade seven teacher about how starfish make more starfish. He said they split like amoebas. I said he was an idiot.
I'm a northerner. Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. And I've lived in this area all my life. LOL Though my lack of tolerance isn't just for heat. I also freeze when others are comfortable (or did till the hot flashes started), but when one is cold one can put on more clothes! In summer there's only so much an old fat dame can take off before somebody starts crying. |
i'm just not a fan of the heat. never really have been.
Aww. You should move here, and have our nice mild heat. LOL Our winters aren't humid either. I love that. I've been in humid winters, and they hurt.
