How many guesses do we get? Was going to say Bluetick but Tiva's mentioned that.

Tiva 04-13-2017 09:55 PM

It is not
A Blue Heeler
A Dalmation
A German Short Haired Pointer
An Australian Shepard
A Border Collie
A Great Dane
An Australian Cattle Dog
A Braque d'Auvergne

If it isn't the Blue Tick I have one last guess

Rainbowfox Ari 04-13-2017 10:06 PM

Nope, it's none of those. Go ahead with the guess. XD

Tiva 04-13-2017 10:08 PM

Dappled Daschund

Which I should have guessed, Midnight was a Dorgi mix and was dappled on his feet and chest.

dragoness129 04-13-2017 10:08 PM

Hmmm, I don't know many dog breeds.

Rainbowfox Ari 04-13-2017 10:09 PM

Nope! Not a dappled dachshund, either.

Tiva 04-13-2017 10:18 PM

Catahoula Cur?

Seriously this is not an easy one

Pessimisticat 04-13-2017 11:21 PM

mdom 04-13-2017 11:24 PM

Called a Catahoula Leopard Dog, and yes. That's it. I'll add your point. Next picture upcoming shortly.

dragoness129 04-13-2017 11:58 PM

Never even heard of that one. Congrats on getting it Tiva.

Pessimisticat 04-14-2017 12:11 AM

Heh. All depends on what you know and have seen. I think I've only heard "Catahoula" once, on an episode of Dogs 101. It's one of those distinctly American dogs, yeah? I know there are a couple.

Rainbowfox Ari 04-14-2017 12:39 AM

Here's your next Picture! I'll update the front, too.
I WILL NOT BE BACK UNTIL TOMORROW EVENING - Late. I have a lot of things to do, and not a lot of time to do them in, so tomorrow's borked. I've left instructions with Galla - so she'll be running it for tomorrow.

Anyway - here's the pic!

Quiet Man Cometh 04-14-2017 12:40 AM

A harrier?

Panda 04-14-2017 01:08 AM

I know nothing about dogs XD I will pass.

Pessimisticat 04-14-2017 01:25 AM

Beagle!

Quiet Man Cometh 04-14-2017 02:04 AM

Alternatively, a smooth coated fox terrier.

or English Foxhound. Yoo-haloo and such.

Death by Mirrors 04-14-2017 03:40 AM

Treeing Walker Coonhound?

XoGizmooX 04-14-2017 04:48 AM

I am not good with dogs :/

dragoness129 04-14-2017 09:50 AM

Is it a Basset Hound?

Gallagher 04-14-2017 11:47 AM

what is it??? WHAT COULD IT BE??? A CAT??? A FISH??? I JUST DON'T KNOW

Tiva 04-14-2017 12:02 PM

Rottweiler

mdom 04-14-2017 12:08 PM

I'm 83.75% sure that's not a fish...

Tiva 04-14-2017 12:24 PM

There are Furry Fish!

Death by Mirrors 04-14-2017 12:37 PM

With that graphical proof right there I reconsider my initial assumption and am now 83.75% certain we are presented with a rare subspecies of Hicken's Fur-Bearing Trout to make guessing harder, since most people are going to follow the established pattern and still name a dog breed.

Also, little known fact: Most fishes (except for some asian breeds) grow fur. Those who regularly shave themselves thereby reduce their water resistance and so lose the grappling effect of the ocean that normally prevents them from being hauled up with a net. Which is why we only catch hairless fish.

mdom 04-14-2017 12:42 PM

Fine, so it could be a fictional furry fish... but we can clearly see a leg!!!

Witchchylde 04-14-2017 12:53 PM

Norwegian Forest Cat. Mostly because of the bulkiness of the fur.

Isis 04-14-2017 12:57 PM

Persian cat maybe?

MonBon 04-14-2017 04:38 PM

It looks like such a cute pitbull... but that's not it xD

Quiet Man Cometh 04-15-2017 12:18 AM

After some analysis as to what part of the body I am looking at, I guess Tibetan Mastiff.

I have never heard of a Treeing Walker Coonhound.

*Wikis*
Well, I was close. It's descended from the Foxhounds.

Potironette 04-15-2017 02:02 PM

It's a rug!
...
..
I don't even know what body part it is xD.

Witchchylde 04-15-2017 03:02 PM

So if it's not a cat, then I am guessing Skye Terrier.

Death by Mirrors 04-15-2017 03:48 PM

Hehe Potironette, same here. Each time I look at the current picture, I seem to interpret different things into it.

Pessimisticat 04-15-2017 10:52 PM

No idea for this round, passing. :P

Quiet Man Cometh 04-15-2017 10:58 PM

Alternative guess is a Bernese Mountain Dog, but still leaning Tibetan Mastiff.

Kaderin Triste 04-16-2017 02:06 AM

It is, quite obviously, a Floofer.
XD
But seriously...I have no clue.

Quiet Man Cometh 04-16-2017 02:10 AM

My thought is that we are looking at the side of the dog's head, facing probably right. I could be wrong though.
