Derpy McBlueEyes 08-17-2018 02:00 AM

Derpy sits down and munches contentedly on his cookies and toast with butter and jam.

You can do it! I believe in you!
Sounds like a tough yet rewarding project.

I just opened 8. 4 feet, 3 bandages, one fridge. I want more fridge.

mdom 08-17-2018 11:18 AM

Why are they giving us so many foot items xD

Death by Mirrors 08-17-2018 02:51 PM

*serious nod* That is certainly foot for thought.

Kaderin Triste 08-17-2018 02:59 PM

Apparently Trisphee thinks we all have foot fetishes.
I got 3 of the foot item on this account, roo

Quiet Man Cometh 08-17-2018 07:28 PM

Deciding if I'm going to buy more or not. Fridge item is pretty awesome, and haven't seen the other two.

Death by Mirrors 08-17-2018 07:31 PM

I've only bought one so far, and it was the fairy one. Now I can be sparklin' dynamite xD

mdom 08-17-2018 08:07 PM

The one with all the ribbons is cool for ribbon fans xD
and the other is uh full of goat horns and hooves

Kaderin Triste 08-17-2018 08:09 PM

I have all except the one with the horns and stuff....

Death by Mirrors 08-17-2018 08:12 PM

Since there were no preview links in the announcement, here is for anyone who wants to try them on:
Bludgeoning Bandages, Fashionable Footwear, Mr. Scabbernathy, Fairy Friend, Fridge Worthy Masterpiece

Kaderin Triste 08-17-2018 08:15 PM

Scabbernathy. That's the one I need still.

Death by Mirrors 08-17-2018 08:17 PM

<- needs a good night's sleep, but doesn't want to leave just yet

Kaderin Triste 08-17-2018 08:20 PM

*hands you a pillow*
Just nap here with Derpy!
*hands you a sleeping Derpy*

By preserving it forever as a potentially out of context quote in your signature.
;D

Death by Mirrors 08-17-2018 08:27 PM

Aw, thanks! *snuggles up to Derpy and falls asleep in the thread*

mdom 08-17-2018 08:37 PM

Shh... sweet crayon dreams!

Den 08-17-2018 09:10 PM

Today, I decided to focus on my D&D character sheet... took me four tries to get the face right.

Quiet Man Cometh 08-17-2018 11:08 PM

What'cha playin?

Den 08-18-2018 01:37 AM

Human Warlock, whose patron is The Morrigan. Mostly 13s for the rolls, but a couple of decent rolls for Charisma and Constitution. Current avatar's as close as I can get to her with what's available here currently.

Espy 08-18-2018 02:18 AM

Actually rolling for stats? How traditional! I like rolling but tend to be using point buy most of the time.

My human warlock spends too much time messing with Eldrich study and is starting to get a little funny. He's not doing much right now though.

Derpy crawls under the blankets with you. "Night night!"

mdom 08-19-2018 01:21 PM

Night? But it's so early!

Derpy McBlueEyes 08-19-2018 01:50 PM

Derpy pokes his head out. "But it's nap time!"

mdom 08-19-2018 01:56 PM

oh right! It's always a good time for nap time.
*tucks derpy in*

Witchchylde 08-19-2018 02:04 PM

Gosh, I hope I get the fairy one soon!

Oh, I saw some lovely butter varieties at the grocer's a few days ago -- cinnamon and honey, and I think a lovely lemon dill that would be just perfect for baking fish!

My last D&D character was a Razorclaw Shifter Shaman named Bliss, whose spirit companion was a silver tiger. That was in the 4th Edition though. I haven't had an opportunity to try the 5th.

mdom 08-19-2018 02:08 PM

Cinnamon butter???
HERESY!!!

Witchchylde 08-19-2018 02:11 PM

Cinnamon AND honey. For cinnamon toast, I'm sure.
And yay, now I'm the NOPE Fairy!

mdom 08-19-2018 02:12 PM

I'm a cinnamon fiend xD

oooh you look lovely, miss fairy!

Witchchylde 08-19-2018 02:19 PM

Thank you so much! I think I may have found my truest self!

mdom 08-19-2018 02:28 PM

You look very friendly for a NOPE fairy xD

Death by Mirrors 08-19-2018 04:57 PM

As long as she distributes cinnamon and honey butter, the NOPE fairy is free to look however she wants to.

And 5th edition rocks! You should definitely try it once you get a chance.

Witchchylde 08-19-2018 06:45 PM

NOPE Fairy is just all about the safety, what could be friendlier?

Death by Mirrors 08-19-2018 06:52 PM

It depends on whether it's "don't touch the hot stove" or "don't touch the hot jello"

mdom 08-19-2018 07:00 PM

what, you can't touch either

Death by Mirrors 08-19-2018 07:11 PM

Yeah, but one is risky and dumb while the other is risky and fun.

Witchchylde 08-19-2018 07:47 PM

Um. Hot Jello mustn't be touched without asking?

Den 08-19-2018 09:42 PM

5e is more user-friendly, imo. I can actually figure out HP at a glance, because each class intro has a section that tells you what die to use, what your starting HP is, and how to calculate for higher levels. I struggled with that in past versions.

I point-buy when I make Pathfinder characters, but unless I'm told specifically to do so for D&D, I prefer rolling up stats. When I roll stats, I roll 4d6, ignore 1s, use the three highest. it gives a good variety of scores, but sometimes the dice bite you in the ass.
