*slurps down rest of vodka drink* -//w/- mmmmm.
Don't like cappuccino eitherrrr..*rests on icy bar and pets the ice* woooo that's cooold. >///.//=; There are cold cappuccinos right? Like, iced milk?

mdom 12-29-2018 05:18 PM

Thank you for the tea shower, everyone!
I feel like there's a lesson to be learned...

Merskelly Metalien 12-29-2018 05:20 PM

? ^//w//< Don't lick cold things??

mdom 12-29-2018 05:20 PM

what about popsicles?
only biting?

Merskelly Metalien 12-29-2018 05:30 PM

>/////>; Uhhhhhh...I-I've been known to...weh-when they start to melt. To avoid a brain freeze by biting or chewing something cold, I just warm the roof of my mouth with my tongue. It works 96% of the time. -//./-

KittyBeary 01-01-2019 01:56 AM

There's always the last little bit of a popsicle that can be difficult if you bite off one end and the other one falls off the stick. xD

Merskelly Metalien 01-01-2019 03:28 AM

OuhhhhhhhhhIhatethaaaaat! >//.//< That's the worrrst! *clinks finished drink onto the ice bar and it slowly slides a bit* Isn't there a better way to make popsicles so they don't do that? Like, otter pops? <|//D *drunkenly rubs cheek on bar* Anyone remember otter pops? Are they still a thing?? I miss those.~ <3

KittyBeary 01-01-2019 04:18 AM

Well if you keep licking the last bit all around maybe it doesn't fall off, or if you suck it off the stick?

*rollsaroundalsotipsyyay*

Merskelly Metalien 01-01-2019 05:17 AM

Yea, or just pop the whole thing and crunch it all up I guess? <x//3 Hahaaa~ I'm so flippin' tipsy nowwww.~ *sways on barstool* <xO Espy! Bartender! Nnnnooo more al-alcoshol for me pls~ I've had enuffs!~ <x//3 The world is a fishbowl now. And I, the fish, have too many people to avoid! But, it's the new year and I'll tell you aall a secret. =//.//- I need help. Yes. I will to do this year some help. I will be nicer to myself. I will pass my stupid driver's test. I'm going to get a job I'm happy earning money in! I'm gonna get less depressed with the help of exercise and therapy.~ And I'm going to confess my asexuality maybe, who knows? -//w//- 2018 was supposed to be about finding who I was, but now I wanna focus on being who I want to be for my health and better self.~ (I'll probably forget about this later. I'm ACTUALLY tipsy from drinking.) but maybe if I focus on feeling better about myself, I'll feel better about working towards being better and stronger and smarter! Even if it's a tiny step. It's a step forward. Here-here's to developing healthy habits, making your brother proud for once, and stepping forward!
-//w//> <3 *rolls off stool and onto floor*

Sounds like a good resolution. I wish you the best of luck with finding a job you enjoy, maintaining a healthy exercise routine and passing your driver's test.

I always suck the last part of popsicle off the stick or I quickly turn the stick around (it depends how hot the weather is and how much the popsicle part has already melted).

Had to google otter pops, but at least here we have a similar thing called Calippo which is packaged in some coated cardboard tube. As a teen I actually enjoyed them more than traditional popsicles, because it doesn't give this slight wooden flavor to the last few bits around the popsicle stick. Now that I think of it I realize I haven't bought any for a while.

Witchchylde 01-01-2019 01:32 PM

I love the orange Push Pops, I don't remember if there are other flavors but I do love sherbet a lot. When it comes to the last piece of popsicle, I think I used to get my teeth over the end and pull that last chunk off the stick into my mouth with no touching the back of my throat with the inner end of the stick, but, I don't know if that would be true for most people. It would really be awful to eat most of a popsicle and then accidentally make yourself throw it all up trying to get the last piece.

Thank you! -//u/- And yea, right?? The wooden taste was always super weird. <x//D Haha, I like the jokes on the sticks, but I prefer the tubes. I always used to crush the popsicle inside them with my teeth and make a slushy treat to slurp. -//u//-
There's one good summer memory of mine I guess.
Hey...wwwaiit. 8//c When did I turn into a skele-guy??? *sits back in stool and looks at arms* ://[ I guess I drank too much and forgot how to be a girl. X//] Aha!

Death by Mirrors 01-02-2019 10:03 AM

Yeah, with too much alcohol this sometimes happens. Don't worry, it's a perfectly normal human body reaction. I should know, I'm a doctor. Alright, my sim is - but that's pretty much the same anyway.

mdom 01-02-2019 11:01 AM

Alredy had ice cream this year!! It's a win.

Death by Mirrors 01-02-2019 11:08 AM

Which flavour?

mdom 01-02-2019 12:01 PM

peanuts and nutella on top. One of the desserts my family served yesterday.

Merskelly Metalien 01-02-2019 04:05 PM

Ohh? Is it? -//./0 Okay. Well, if a doctor says so...=//w/< It must have some credibility!
<x//] Ah ice cream.~ I had waffles for the new year but now I feel like a waffle cone...hmmm

Stabbsworth 01-04-2019 12:48 PM

Barker begins dancing on his stool. He does not give any shits right now, dancing is definitely a science.

Espy 01-04-2019 07:41 PM

<...I just can't leave you all alone for ten minutes to go get more booze, can I.>

Merskelly Metalien 01-04-2019 08:15 PM

Nnnnnope. -//.//= *flops over on cold bar and hiccups*

mdom 01-04-2019 08:33 PM

you should know by now, espy

Merskelly Metalien 01-05-2019 01:10 AM

<//.//<;...Hey, what's that? *points at an ice cube in the corner and slides off stool, wiggling away* <x//3 Buhbye everybodyyyy! You're such dears!~

Espy 01-05-2019 05:19 AM

<Nope. Get back here. You clearly have not drunk enough water between drinks.>

(For the record, you need an entire red cup’s worth of water for each drink you take. Food is also important: greasy, cheesy carbs will help line your stomach so that the alcohol doesn’t get absorbed so quickly. It’s how a tiny Asian kid like me can take eleven shots without blacking out or being hung over. Yes, I’m basically the supervisor of my friends at parties.)

Death by Mirrors 01-05-2019 06:40 AM

Haven't had a hangover in my entire life. Then again I think the most I've ever had in a single evening once were four shots.

Merskelly Metalien 01-05-2019 02:57 PM

<//n//o; *is dragged back* awwwhhh...lfff. =//-/=; okaaaaayy. Can I get a tiny umbrella in the water tho? -//w/- And I think the worst hangover I ever had, /://. waaaas when I woke up with my eyes hurting so bad, I just wanted them closed for the whole day. Had to wear sunglasses. Was a little tired, but-! =//~//=; It was from one tall pina colada and a little wine. I did eat with it tho. >//./>; and drink water, I think...<x'//[ For the record, I'm a smol skully with a very berry low limit! I can only haves one! ;//n//; cause one sis all it takes..</3

Stabbsworth 01-05-2019 04:13 PM

Barker continues dancing on his stool.

This is very not safe for work in the way that he'll probably fall off at some point. Who the fuck dances on a stool?

Merskelly Metalien 01-05-2019 04:54 PM

That's some skillful dancing. >//./=; I wish-shish I could dance like a stool! <x//D Hahahaha!

Death by Mirrors 01-06-2019 04:22 AM

Dancing on stools is for amateurs. Come back when you've advanced to a flagpole :P

Merskelly Metalien 01-06-2019 05:38 AM

*drinks some water thirstily and leans over to Death* =//w//< Wa-wai-wait, so..flagpole dancing?? It's a thing??

Death by Mirrors 01-06-2019 05:51 AM

You betcha.

Merskelly Metalien 01-06-2019 06:06 AM

Wow! o//./o That looks hard!..*sways in seat* I dunno why I pictured someone flag twirling with a huge flagpole insteadova pole dancer with a flag at the top. X//D Hahaha!

Death by Mirrors 01-06-2019 06:27 AM

That is a thing too. I saw some performers at a local street festival dancing with huge ass flags. Looked stunning.

Merskelly Metalien 01-06-2019 03:27 PM

Ahh, but not really long poles just really long flags? -//w//= That'd look ridiculous but impressive if pulled off right. *hic* And but the flags, they'd look-they can- >//./<; You can see the flags better if they're bigger and so it'd of course look stunning! -//u//^

Witchchylde 01-06-2019 03:35 PM

I was in the Color Guard for the school marching band in high school and had to learn flag twirling. I was at least adequate at it, but I must admit I was mostly in it for the boots.

Merskelly Metalien 01-06-2019 10:38 PM

Ahh..-//w/- good boots are a plus in style with the flag twirling...I'll betcha looked like an elegant badass!~ *gulps down water* ..I only ever did ribbon twirling for a dance class. =//.//<;

Death by Mirrors 01-07-2019 04:10 AM

We didn't even have such a thing at school. There was a track and field team, but they weren't very good - more like a group of boys interested in athletics who would use the school's sporting ground once a week for fun with a teacher supervising. Aside from that, just the regular physical education everyone had to attend.

Merskelly Metalien 01-07-2019 04:14 AM

-//w/=; I took two years of "dance" as an elective. And it wasn't really 'taught' so much as lecture on the history of dances, dance movies and *hic* minor instructor taught choreography. We had extracurricular sports like cross country and softball, but nothin' else besides basic P.E. yeah..buhcuz we were a tiny school. <x//] I-itty bitty school!~ Like tiny tiny.~

Death by Mirrors 01-07-2019 04:19 AM

History of dances could be fun actually, depending on how it's presented. Dance movies I think the only one I know is Dirty Dancing, and I haven't even actually watched it - a neighbour once lent me the vhs tape because she thought it was a classic, but at that time our device was broken and so I eventually returned the tape untouched. To my defense it didn't seem like the type of movie I'd enjoy anyway. I'm not that big on love stories, especially traditional heterosexual ones.

Merskelly Metalien 01-07-2019 04:32 AM

Oh Death. <x//] I will bond with you over my mutual disfavor of most romantic movies any day!~ *sways a bit and drinks water with a sigh* -//.//- Despite the catchy tunes and neat dance numbers, I really didn't care for Grease. I cannot watch Rom-coms anymore because they leave me wishing I could be watching something equally unrealistic but more action packed and bloody... ;-; We watched so many pointless romantic dance movies in class, that they all mesh into a single title-less bland repetition of the same story...*leans on Death sadly* ;//.//; Death...do-do you like Lord of the Rings and the awesome danger and violent battles in it's trilogy?~
And the fact that it's heterosexual romance is hardly distracting at all?~ -//./- <3

Death by Mirrors 01-07-2019 04:58 AM

Hehe, well I guess some of that is alcohol speaking out of you, but I'm always in for a close friend to watch action packed bloody battles with! I also liked the catchy tunes of Grease yet didn't care much about the actual story. What was it even again, some girl obsessing over some boy and in the end she got a new haircut which solved everything? I've always been more into Xena the Warrior Princess than whatever current daily soap my friends swooned over.
Lord of the Rings had some wonderful battles, and great landscape. I don't even remember who exactly fell in love, I think it was one of the fellowship guys with a female elf? So yeah, guess you have a point on the hardly distracting ^^
