"C!" Ender called, brushing past Ninja and moving over to them.

He practically tackled his love in a huge hug, ignoring the stunned look on his face.

"Where is Oliver?" One pressed as he approached.

"We haven't met up with him, Far or Secret yet." Mello sighed.

C's face burned and he blinked down at Ender before hugging back.

"What's wrong Ender?" C asked.

"Nothing is wrong," Ender assured. "Let's get out of here..."

He turned toward Matsuda, switching to Japanese. "Thank you for your help."

"We need to get a hold of Ni-Ryuuzaki," Ninja told him, also speaking his native language. "Do you know how we can? I know you two used a special means of communicating... I'm not sure if Mello knows it."

"I know that Aizawa has." Matsuda offered.

"Guys, in English, please!" Mello burst in irritation.

"I thought your Japanese was fine," Ninja said with a frown.

"No, his Japanese has always been a little poor," Ender commented. "But his Russian is wonderful."

"Maybe all that practice with Naveen?" Ninja offered, ignoring the look she was sent. "Either way..." She switched back to Japanese. "Can you get Mello a ride to England?"

"I heard Mello and England," One cut in. "Ninja..."

"We need to find the others," Ninja explained. "But Mello needs to get back there."

"We all do." C commented.

"I can probably get Mello through here and on a flight if I make a few phone calls." Matsuda offered. "What about your guys' plane?"

"It was raided," Ninja informed. "I just came from there. Secret told me they came and stayed for a good two hours... when I got there, it wouldn't start."

"Mello should head back first," Ender told C. "Beyond will be after Near so someone needs to go... but we need to focus on finding Oliver."

"Damn it!" Mello hissed. "Okay, I'll go with Matsuda and you guys call me when you got everyone together."

Matsuda pulled out his cell and started to dial.

The others nodded and left him where he was... making him feel completely alone.

--Scene change--

"Zero, please wake up!" Trick was screaming, now untied. Linda was freaking out and performing CPR, trying to get Zero's breathing to start back up as Next fought hysterics.

"Linda, he's still not breathing!" Treat sobbed as he leaned over Zero's face. "Make him breathe!"

"C'mon, let's go, you don't have to be here for this." Mat was trying to move Next out of the room.

"I killed him," Next was breathing in a panic. "God, Matt... no, no! We have to stay- we have to keep an eye on B- what about the kids- what about Near-!?"

"Come on, you dumbass!" Linda huffed in a panic. "You can't die- think of Far... think of the kids!"

"Hey, c'mon!" Matt grabbed Trick and pulled him over. "C'mon, let Linda work. Next help!"

"W-what do you need me to do?" Next whispered to Linda as he moved over to her.

"What the hell is going on in here?" A voice called as a light shone over them. They all glanced up to see a young man in the doorway - maybe a little bit younger then L had been at his death.

"Indigo..." Next whimpered and the young man jumped in surprise, looking at the scene. "Help us!"

"What happened?" He pressed, moving toward them.

"Where is Nancy?" Linda asked him, sharply. "Roger? F, even!?"

"Nancy had to run to the hospital before the power got cut out, along with Roger and F," Indigo pressed, moving to cover Next's spot. "His pulse is weak but his lungs are likely punctured. Linda, get the tubing out of the cabinet!"

She rushed over and grabbed it. She had refused to put it in herself, knowing that without the proper training she would do more damage then good.

"Next, grab Treat!" Matt said quickly as he scooped up Trick and headed for the door.

"Matt..." Next said in alarm and as the redhead looked over, he followed his love's eyes. "Where... is B...?"

Suddenly everyone in the room realized that both B and Near were gone.

"...Damn it, we tied him up!" Matt burst before setting Trick down. "Beyond!"

He turned and ran out of the room.

"Beyond!" He shouted again, this time sounding both furious and fearful.

"Backup?" Indigo questioned before he shoved the tube down Zero's throat and bagged him. They could see the flashing lights of the ambulances pulling up. "Was he in here?"

"Yes, and he had Near!" Next cried in alarm.

Indigo looked surprised. "They weren't in here when I shined the light on you..."

"He took Near, is Zero gonna die!?" Treat begged the young man- grabbing his arms and shaking him.

"Are you sure he didn't take Near to help him or something?" Indigo asked.

"As nice as it is that you're a freaking hippie, he wants him dead!" Linda snapped.

Indigo sighed. "Matt, head down the hall and see if you can get the lights back on... Linda, get the medics back in here. I'll see if I can figure out where they went."

"Matt isn't here!" Treat burst.

"What?" Indigo shined his light around, groaning. "This situation is way out of control... Linda, go get the medics!"

Linda nodded and took off, leaving Indigo with Treat.

"What's the tube for!?" Treat pleaded.

As Linda came out into the hall, taking off quickly. She came around the corner and down the steps. She nearly barreled over Matt. The redhead wasn't in great shape- especially considering his smoking habit.

"Did you find them-!? She pressed as she pushed past them to head toward the front room, where the paramedics were entering.

Kids were wandering in slowly from the hallways, looking frightened and curious.

"You gotta get the ambulance back!" Matt shouted at the paramedics in alarm. "Get that thing back! Someone's gonna steal it!"

He waved his arms frantically.

"Steal it-?" One of the men said in alarm, turning to look out the front door. "Who on Earth would steal a-"

The tires peeled out and the medical bus took off out of the driveway, flying down towards the road.

"Don't tell me..." Linda whispered, her eyes wide and her face horrified. "...Beyond..."

"God damn it!" Matt snapped. "I need to get to my car!"

He turned and ran for the garage.

"I have to stay with Zero!" She called as he ran off, her face pale. "I can't believe he left him... after all this just to get him back..."

The girl shook her head, her shoulders tense.

Matt burst into the garage and ran to his mustang. He pulled open the passenger seat, not really acknowledging the fact that he was setting Tick down in it and buckling the little boy up.

"Okay, I don't have the keys, but I got it rigged through the trunk." Matt thought aloud as he ran to the back of the car.

"Matt?" Trick whimpered, turning his head to look over the back of the seat. His entire form was shaking from fear.

Matt heard the little boy scream as he looked into the back and came running over to find Trick pointing into the backseat...where B was either lying unconscious or dead.

Trick looked up at Matt in alarm and confusion, his eyes filled with tears. "What's going on!?"

"...Who the hell took that...where's NEAR!?" Matt pulled open the back door and checked B's pulse. "Trick, did you see anything? Course not, you were with me!"

He growled.

"Shit- shit- shit!" Matt screamed.

He jumped in alarm as the lights flickered on. Trick jumped in alarm as Matt winced and began to look around, before pulling a spare pair of goggles from the glove compartment and handing them over. "Matt!"

"Thanks." Matt pulled them on quickly and waited for his vision to return. "...Near took off in the bus."

Matt sighed.

"Unless Beyond has another accomplice and we won't know until he wakes up." Matt groaned.

"I don't think Near was himself," Trick whispered, weakly. "When he splashed Next... he was standing all wrong... he was leaning differently... Zero told us to keep track of the way people stand. He wasn't... does that make any sense?"

"...I think so." Matt sighed before he moved over and leaned down to Trick. "Will you help me?"

He nodded, slowly, trying to put on a brave face.

"Okay, just stay buckled in and then stay close to me." Matt nodded. "We're going after that ambulance and Near, okay?"
