The knights who say "Nee"

Espy 05-12-2011 02:22 AM

Speaking of endings, I've a habit of sticking "eh" to my sentences...is that...like...a stereotypically Canadian thing?

Azrael 05-12-2011 02:22 AM

What? XD

Azrael 05-12-2011 02:25 AM

Ya'll and ain't.
Everyone knows that.

Iunno= I don't know.
Whatcha: What are you
Doncha: Don't you

But then I have my own personal sayings that only I say or if everyone else does, I don't even hear 'em.

Up here in the north (when Iwas in oregon anyway) if someone said ain't.. someone else would say "Ain't ain't a word so I ain't gonna say if I say ain't five times then I ain't going to heaven" or something along those lines..?

Yes. Yes it is quite stereotypical. c:

Rumiel: I've heard that first part. Never heard the last part before. xD

Lauv Keiko 05-12-2011 02:39 AM

I.am.scared.shit.of.cicadas.
Even if I'm a big fan of insects and bugs and creepy crawlies...I just have this uncomfy feeling when I hear cicadas...they look like aliens...T_T

Blaine 05-12-2011 02:40 AM

They totally dooooo.
AGH, do not like.
Scary scary.

Lauv Keiko 05-12-2011 02:48 AM

I'm okay with millipedes, centipedes, bees, flies, butterflies, moths...
cicadas are just...creepy...creepiest of them all. D:

Blaine 05-12-2011 02:52 AM

I like moths, butterflies, lightning bug and ladybugs.
THAT. Is it. T:

Lauv Keiko 05-12-2011 02:54 AM

If I were to choose between a roach and a cicada...I'd choose a roach..D:

Blaine 05-12-2011 03:00 AM

I would choose the cicada. orz
OR, I would kill them both. :D!

Lauv Keiko 05-12-2011 03:03 AM

I'd kill the roach though...I mean, I'm not that scared with roaches so I can come close to them...cicadas...make me shriek like a little girl.

Blaine 05-12-2011 03:11 AM

Nothing wrong with that, ahhaa!!

Espy 05-12-2011 04:27 AM

Dude, my mom found a live roach under my bathroom rug a few days ago x___X

Blaine 05-12-2011 12:19 PM

I woulda killed it there and then. T:

Reyoki 05-12-2011 07:40 PM

One measly roach? That's nothing. My mom decided to bug bomb the house a few weeks ago. We spent the day out doing stuff. When we got home, we found about THIRTY roaches dead in our laundry room! I looked at my brother and said, "See? This is why I tell you to clean up after yourself when you eat in the living room."

Blaine 05-12-2011 09:25 PM

That is actually HILARIOUS, Reyo, ahha!

Nanka 05-13-2011 11:08 AM

I don't think I've ever seen one that I can recall. I know what they look like, but I just avoid insects at all costs, anyways. D8

Sarah 05-17-2011 02:30 PM

umm well i live in the USA, so i don't think we have those here.. lol.

Lunaryon 05-17-2011 03:26 PM

My housemate is absolutly terrified of Cicadas, I hope he doesn't hear about it being the 13 year thing. He'd freak out, and I'd never hear the end of it.

Reyoki 05-17-2011 06:22 PM

Sarah, we so have those here. I live in Florida, and they're here in ABUNDANCE!

Lunaryon 05-17-2011 09:38 PM

There Everywhere!

Sarah 05-18-2011 02:12 AM

ohhhh ok.. i've been to Florida before but I don't remember seeing any. xD but i havn't ever lived there.. x3x; they seem annoying so i'll be thankful. plus i hate bugs..

Lunaryon 05-18-2011 09:16 AM

We've got them all the way up here in Arkansas. I haven't slept well in forever due to those stupid bugs.

Sarah 05-18-2011 02:58 PM

wow...annoying. x3x Roaches and Spiders are my most hated bugs. roaches are so discusting...and spiders just creep the heck out, period.

Lunaryon 05-18-2011 06:06 PM

Urgh! I hate spiders. Just the other day I found this huge Wolf spider in my room. I freaked out so much.

Ryuuoh 05-18-2011 11:14 PM

Don't know what kind of spider I found in my room a couple days ago but that thing got killed with chemicals from a long distance. Now I'm looking into safe for people and pet pesticides because of how many I've found already.

Sarah 05-19-2011 01:10 AM

haha, well good thing i have 2 cats. so they find some bugs that come in.. >.<

Reyoki 05-20-2011 11:49 PM

My cats are too fat, old and lazy to catch bugs. They just lie around and watch them fly by when they manage to get in through an open door or something.

Blaine 05-21-2011 12:52 PM

My cat doesn't care but my dog eats their shells. DX
AGH.

Reyoki 05-22-2011 04:12 PM

One of my dogs snaps at mosquitoes whenever they manage to get into the house. Sometimes she actually gets 'em!

Rem 05-24-2011 01:28 PM

FFfftt how can anyone like those things
they leave their shells everywhere
on the trees
on the leaves
on the wire frames of my storm windows growing up
and I would get them in my hair unintentionally when climbing trees
i had nightmares about those things XD

they're terrible terrible

Lunaryon 05-25-2011 01:50 AM

Very scary and annoying bugs. Luckily for me, the crazy wheather has sent them packing. No more Cicadas!
