Hooray for purple! I'm a fan of the special coloured items, mostly because it's a nice assorment of colours. I like the shade of purple/lavender that comes in there. :). I like that they made some donation items to match.

Oh yes, the purple that's in the special colored items is lovely. Was perfect for one of my cosplays too. But I like the purple/lilac for...aesthetic reasons.

I have never played magic gathering.

I used to play Magic: The Gathering, but all my cards vanished when I moved last time. Which is a shame because I'd probably be selling them now for funds :/

I just won an auction yesterday for like 200 dollars in cards for 40 dollars. I'm planning to sell most of them, might use a few. I can't believe how expensive little pieces of cardboard can be.

If I sell all of those, it'll actually pay for my entire investment into the game so far and then some. I was so surprised when I won the auction, the bidding for it was ferocious, but it didn't even get within 10 dollars of my maximum bid.

I literally only shop on eBay. It's way too convenient being able to click and order something and have it delivered to my house, without everything else handled electronically. Not to mention being able to buy almost anything imaginable on there. I only really go to grocery stores physically any more, and I would buy those online, too, if I could.

I was looking up Birds of Paradise the other day, and they're crezy. The design I want (7th-8th ed) goes anywhere from $6 for four to $70 for one! And the alternate art versions sell in the hundreds. I saw one that was over $1000, foil promo alternate art or something like that. Yikes. I collect more than play now but I do have limits.

Nice to find out that some of the stuff I still have has gone way up in value though. Of course, I'll only see money if I actually sell.

Yeah, I thought I remembered Birds of Paradise being one of the crazy expensive cards when you mentioned it yesterday. That's nearly as high as the Black Lotus (which I think is the most valuable, not positive, though.)

I recall a fews years back that there was a fridge prototype that had a programable so that you always new what was in your fridge and if you ran low your fridge would order it for you via internet or phone, can't recall which.

I imagine online groceries would come from a supply depot rather and a grocery store. I imagine it wouldn't be much different from the normal trucking of food around. Nice to be able to see it though, before you buy it.

I'm always impressed with Suzerain's vocabulary too. Learning about new words is fun after all ;) I try not to interject too many fancy words when I write but...it's a good skill for writing too.
