To be fair, they would probably kick you before they'd ever crush you. xD

Elephants, now those would crush you.

Sadrain 07-24-2010 11:07 AM

The actual brain surface, yes, but not the actual real mind potential. And there have been new researches on it and more proofs of that.

Horses are used for taking stress off of people, so they do gather it from them, get nervous from them self. And all in all, all what you described were the outcome of something happening in the horse's past and the environment they lived in.

Johhny, about 3km from my city's center there is one of the best horse stables in my country. There is not a single nervous or dumb horse. Why? Because when a new rider comes, two trainers are nearby for about week till the horse gets used to them, especially if the rider them self are nervous. And all those kids have been taught how to treat the horses, without accidentally hurting, pinching it, etc. I am sure that in each camp group that went at those horses there were kids that did that. They were afraid, didn't know what more to expect. Just like a human would be. Yes, they get used to changes slowly, but you don't call humans who are the same stupid, do you?

Anyways, don't answer that. XD I think we should end this discussion where it is. I don't want to sound arguing. ^^;

I have seen a huge horse who is in the middle of city, after being ridden be a stranger, so nervous and stressed that he couldn't stand still at first, honestly smiling at me and allowing to pet his head instead of kicking when I walked to him with admiration. It depends on how you go to horse. Sure, I was scared, too, since he was gigantic, but I didn't think of him to be stupid. All animals feel what you are thinking about them in general, it also changes their attitude.

I don't recall a favorite toy.. Though I do recall butchering some barbies and setting them on fire.....

johnny 07-24-2010 11:28 AM

Even though I was a bit of a tomboy (in the sense that I'd rather go climb a tree than talk about fashion, not that I actually liked sports or anything - which I still don't) as a kid, I still had Barbies and played with them often.

I just liked anything that allowed me to use my imagination while playing. It was either the horse figures, or Barbies, or pretending I was some sort of animal. Usually a wolf, because wolves are my favorite.

Sadrain 07-24-2010 11:33 AM

I used to play both with toy cars and barbies, and all sort of other things. My barbies were all fairies of flowers and I thought up their adventures and everything. I even wrote a play, haha. XD

I did lot of imagination games, actually, I also had imaginary friend. A bear named Anna. x3;

Zypher 07-24-2010 11:42 AM

I had a crap load of those hot wheel cars and climbed trees.

The only 'girly' things that I can think of that I liked was those plastic beauty and the beast figurines. They had a nice smell. owO;

Sadrain 07-24-2010 11:50 AM

I wished I could go out and climb trees. ;w; But my health didn't allow me to and I also didn't have anywhere to do that. So, I settled down for dancing to radio and sometimes dressing up and playing with cars. I think I was a mix of tomboy and girly girl? XD

Zypher 07-24-2010 12:08 PM

I never played dress up. >u>;

I still can't be bothered to dress up unless I have to....

johnny 07-24-2010 12:36 PM

I never played dress up.

Unless it was like, dressing up and pretending I was a witch or something. Because what's the point of dressing up as an adult, when you're going to be one eventually anyways? Better to use all that childhood imagination on something that'll never happen, like becoming a magical being. xD

Sadrain 07-24-2010 12:38 PM

I didn't dress up as adult, usually for some sort of fantasy adventure, like being a Pokemon trainer or something.
I never desired to be an adult. >-<

Toriki 07-24-2010 01:44 PM

@Zypher: B-b-buring Barbies? EEEEEEEEEEEEEEKK!!!!!

Zypher 07-24-2010 01:48 PM

I was a strange child who didn't like the stick thin figures.

johnny 07-24-2010 01:52 PM

I never thought Barbie was stick thin. I always thought her hips were freakishly big, in fact, and had great difficulty getting clothes onto them. I suppose her waist was really thin, but I've seen people who are stick thin and they usually have no hips, no chest, just like a bean pole of a person. So I never got the fuss over Barbie.

Zypher 07-24-2010 01:57 PM

I never got into the fuss, I just didn't like how she looked. My view was aesthetics, nothing more. x'D

johnny 07-24-2010 01:59 PM

I know I hated Barbie's feet.

In perpetual High Heel Mode.

I was like, what the heck? Why are her feet like that? What if she doesn't want to wear high heels?

...yeah, I didn't get my first pair of high heeled shoes until I was eighteen years old. xD;

Zypher 07-24-2010 02:13 PM

I walk on my toes when I'm not wearing shoes, and I can't wear flat shoes unfortunately haha.

I started to wear boots with heels around 14 or something like that. But it's almost always boots. I only wear strappy shoes on special occasions.

Monster 07-24-2010 11:28 PM

what would you tell people that are intimidated to post more and jump into conversations?

What inspired you to make this site?

This is a good thread idea. xD Everyone can learn new things about the staff... ouo Even the staff. xD <3

Silverbleed 07-25-2010 12:24 PM

I'm hungry T__T

johnny 07-25-2010 12:28 PM

I walk on my toes when I'm not wearing shoes, but that's sort of a weird habit of mine where I want to keep the amount of contact my feet have to the ground at a minimum.

#FFFFFF 07-25-2010 12:39 PM

I only walk on my toes when I'm walking outside with no shoes... xD;; Or if I'm running through my home randomly...

Silver;;
Me too! D:!

Toriki 07-25-2010 01:31 PM

Question: What is you "ideal" spouse?

johnny 07-25-2010 01:33 PM

Joel McHale! I mean... uh..

Someone funny and 6'4? :'D

#FFFFFF 07-25-2010 01:36 PM

I don't really have an ideal spouse... Just someone with a good personality and they've gotta be funny. xP

Toriki 07-25-2010 01:59 PM

@Shiro (white): :)

@Johnny: :D

#FFFFFF 07-25-2010 02:33 PM

Shiro? ouo

johnny 07-25-2010 02:38 PM

"shiro" is Japanese for "white".

#FFFFFF 07-25-2010 02:47 PM

That's so awesome. x] I love it.

Toriki 07-25-2010 03:00 PM

Then I shall call you "Shiro" from now on! :)

#FFFFFF 07-25-2010 03:02 PM

Hooray!
No one has ever called me that.~ =o
I've been called Blanca before, but that's it... x.x

Sadrain 07-25-2010 03:03 PM

I could call you Hex. XD

Toriki 07-25-2010 03:03 PM

I prefer calling people's nick names online rather than their real name. \(>w<)/

#FFFFFF 07-25-2010 03:19 PM

Hex sounds pretty alright... xD
But, meh. Lmao. Sounds too weird. ono;; And normal at the same time.

Tori;;
That makes sense. Most people call me by my real name online.

johnny 07-25-2010 03:21 PM

People call me by many names. u:

Toriki 07-25-2010 03:22 PM

I'll call Johnny "Jojo" from now on. ♥

johnny 07-25-2010 03:26 PM

Yes! New nickname to add to the collection! :'D!!

#FFFFFF 07-25-2010 03:26 PM

I am called by many names... But mostly Lee. xD

Toriki 07-25-2010 03:31 PM

I'll dig up some names for you, Shiro: Fufu, Sextuplets Fs, Hexy (derived from Rainy's idea).

#FFFFFF 07-25-2010 03:33 PM

Hexy doesn't sound too bad. xD
But FuFu isn't good.

Toriki 07-25-2010 03:34 PM

Errr. . . . Fifi? :D
