I do understand, it being a ball and masquarade and all... But most people just go down to the game forum anyways, cause they just don't have much time to wait on replies, but there are 20 threads they can reply to, and rpobably get swift replies. Many use exactly that method for mules.
But oh gosh, please, don't take away pearl earning for game forum... it will render many people hopeless. v.v;;

Fenris 07-20-2011 04:33 PM

We have no intention of taking away the pearls from the games forums. We knew a lot of people would be using that as a way to get it because it was harder and we do expect people to use every asset they have to get them.

Sadrain 07-20-2011 04:35 PM

It just makes me feel as if the attempt to gain much social activity has not been achieved. We posted just must during taskal event first week. Even first three, nearly! After that, it sort of lost actuality.

Fenris 07-20-2011 04:38 PM

Which is why these events are shorter. And in all actuality the currency starts off being easier to get. It doesnt match the level of difficulty of the Nox nocturnalis festival until you have achieved 2 full sets so before its harder than past events until you have 3 sets on each account. So its not actually that hard.

Sadrain 07-20-2011 04:40 PM

Yes, but considering that it's harder, it's also like.... week long, from what I am gathering. 2 weeks, 2 weeks and half, would make more sense with this level of currency earning.
If I am mistaken, then the situation is slightly different, but. -shrug-

Fenris 07-20-2011 04:45 PM

The Nox nocturnalis was if i remember correctly, two weeks long and people still got a lot of those items and said it was to easy. So I tried to make it harder so the items could be rarer. Either way i never said the event would be exactly a week long, i said it would be shorter than the others and at least a week long. It may be longer but if it is longer it wont be a lot longer. Either way the time to get items will be shorter than in any other event.

Sadrain 07-20-2011 04:48 PM

I don't think it was that easy to get them during Nox Nocturnalis. There were few reallly crazy posters (me included), and the earning wasn't cut off, so sort of giving discouraging feeling.
But I understand about them being rarer and such... I just am not sure if this is a very good solution. But thank you for your thoughts and working to make things better and more pleasant and for this event altogether.

I wonder if the possible second part will be some sort of fair, the whole country celebration, after the queen is possibly overthrown. /offtopic

Lucid: 07-20-2011 04:50 PM

It was too easy to get them during Nox Noxturnalis. 8|
I got 15 of some items, 10 of most. The fewest I got was 8 for the Withering Nox. 8|
I even started lurking most of the time about halfway through that event.

Alexander Linden 07-20-2011 04:51 PM

I got at least 10 of each item/bundle from Nox myself.

Sadrain 07-20-2011 05:07 PM

Alright, but barely getting 1, 2? How about some... middle level, of 5? xDD

Ah, ok then. I was thinking about that a few months back when I was RPing with Chasm.

nyreen 07-20-2011 05:57 PM

Woah.
I can't believe someone was doing that, that's so lame.

Shenandoah 07-20-2011 09:27 PM

Half the fun of the site... any avatar site... is earning each item through hard work. Cheating the system makes it less fun. Granted, donating is a special form of cheating, but everyone benefits.

Coda 07-20-2011 09:39 PM

It might be better to say that you earn each item by spending something of value. In the case of DIs, you're spending money; in the case of aurum or event items, you're spending time. Both are limited, and therefore valuable, resources.

Shenandoah 07-20-2011 09:57 PM

Yes. Therefore everyone benefits and the site gets updated.

Echo-chan713 07-20-2011 11:20 PM

I only have one account and I'm happy with it

Demo 07-21-2011 10:35 AM

Wow, who the hell would try and mess with our community like this? Yes I admit I posted on my mule for awhile but I thought it was fun like an rp cause of my mule's personality. But never would I exceed the two post limit. And I have stopped posting with my mule for now. Also Fen I hope you guys figure something out to fix what has be wronged. This community is the best I've been on and I don't want to see anything happen to it! ><

Lucid: 07-21-2011 10:40 AM

Demo, as long as you're not exceeding the two post limit or registering more mules than allowed, you're perfectly fine to post with your mule. In fact, I kinda miss Richard. ;w;

Demo 07-21-2011 10:44 AM

Sorry Lucid I just have been in a crappy mood and it honestly is extremely hard to act for him XP I mean as you can tell our personalities are kind of opposite XD But I can try my best tomorrow to get on with him so you all can play : )

Lucid: 07-21-2011 10:45 AM

it's fine, you don't have to force yourself into Richard-mode just for me. :3 he can come back when you're ready. I do hope your mood improves. **hugs**

Demo 07-21-2011 10:49 AM

It will XD And ofcourse Richard will come out every once in awhile, he's my right hand man. I will be in a better mood when I finish my cosplay and go to otakon : )

I would like to add another point to this reminder.

Creating new accounts in response to punishment of any sort is punishable by permanent banning. This is a zero-tolerance policy.

I apologize that we have to bring these reminders up in public but in order to provide an enjoyable space for our users we must ensure that everyone understands what kinds of behaviors are not considered acceptable on Trisphee.

Fenris 07-21-2011 12:04 PM

Coda I added your quote to the front and put an updated.

Lucid: 07-21-2011 12:41 PM

Registering new accounts to avoid a ban makes Fen rageface. don't do it, guys.

Fenris 07-21-2011 12:48 PM

That makes me sound mean Lucid, I didn't think I rage faced, i thought I tsked

Lucid: 07-21-2011 12:51 PM

aw, I thought I was supposed to scare the users into behaving. >.>
alright, Fen tsked. whatever "tsked" implies.

Fenris 07-21-2011 12:51 PM

It implies 'tsk tsk tsk' <.<

Lucid: 07-21-2011 12:55 PM

ah, of course. I never had to spell out that sound before. o.o

Reyoki 07-21-2011 01:06 PM

For what it's worth, I appreciate all the hard work you've all been doing on the back end to make the events exciting and enjoyable for everyone.

I LOVE YOU GUYS!!! *gives the staff cookies shaped like Anka Tokens*

Muff Muff 07-21-2011 01:06 PM

Feels so odd.. First time of something drastic happening it seems. o.o

Lucid: 07-21-2011 01:09 PM

Cookies? SHAPED LIKE ANKA TOKENS? :OOOO **consumes speedily** <3

Muff Muff 07-21-2011 01:10 PM

lol It's funny cause they're round. xD

Fenris 07-21-2011 01:16 PM

Its not the first time something drastic has happened but its the first time something drastic enough to make us post about it.

Grave Desires 07-21-2011 01:20 PM

Hey Fen.

I hope you're feeling better. <3

Fenris 07-21-2011 01:24 PM

I am a bit better, not perfect but def better than yesterday or the day before.

Grave Desires 07-21-2011 01:25 PM

Glad to hear it!

I have one of my submissions posted in the contest thread, please don't kill me? XD;

Coda 07-21-2011 01:36 PM

Actually it's the third time.

The first time prompted us to rewrite the rules and make a big announcement about it.

The second one prompted a revision to clarify, with another announcement.

Fenris 07-21-2011 01:36 PM

Oh well yeah that's true but most people wouldn't think of that one.

Coda 07-21-2011 01:38 PM

Sure, because we posted them as rules updates instead of just a big angry reminder.

Muff Muff 07-21-2011 01:52 PM

Oh, yeah. I vaguely remember that as well.
