I pondering digging out SC3 again, maybe hijacking the living room TV for gaming for the next little while. Heh. Maybe get some practice in with Voldo. He amuses me in a way I imagine an opponent wouldn't like, if only I could figure the guy out. Raphael is about the only character I know some actual movies for, and even then I mash buttons half the time in a rough idea of range. I use his alternate costume whenever I play. Not as big on his nobleness as much as masky look.

Surpsies me a little that I stick largely with Raphael and Amy. I usually for more for tanks that hit for lots of damage. I'm the person that runs around in shooters with the granade/rocket launcher or flameflower. Whatever does the most damage the fastest way. :D

LOL yeah, I tend to be the annoying back-stabby ones...so I luff on amy and raphael..and major win points for the zorro look of his alternate!

My friend who I mostly play with is into Siggy and Kilik. I hate both. I can best Siggy pretty well with Raph but not so much Kilik. He's harder to deal with unless I'm *also* playing Kilik. I got annoyed with my friend and started mirroring all his fighter picks. Fun times actually. :). That led to the random pick fights and occasionally the random outfit fights.

I get the better points with weapons that twirls like Kilik, Seong-mi, Tira, Cassandra (to some degree) , and Talim

Does anyone like Yun-Seong? I've always hated him. His arrogant fighting style just annoys me. I'm still waiting for a regular 1-handed sword style to use in CaS without any flamboyant tricks that wouldn't fit with 90% of characters people create who use swords.

Actually, Project Soul seems to have an aversion to normal swords. Everything is so outlandish....

Hmm. I never thought of that before. I'd imagine it's either that, or just that it's such a staple of the series now, it doesn't even cross their minds to include simple and normal fighting styles, since they would look boring next to all the exaggerated ones they have.

When I was 8 I played it all the time. Currently I played the fourth one. I really like the character creator. My favorite character has to be..I forgot his name..he used a scythe.

Looks like Voldo, Tira, Maxi, and Hilde are coming back. Not really too excited about any of them, except maybe Hilde. I hope they flesh out her style more, though.

Yes, both of them are replacing Sophitia and Cassandra. I hope their styles aren't too similar. I'd rather have the styles that get cut as Create-a-Soul styles, than have the new characters be clones of older characters.

Astaroth confirmed returning and new girl with a claw named Viola featured here. She sort of looks like Amy. I will be greatly annoyed if Amy does not return.

I read somewhere that they're apparently rushing the game to get it out by January. I don't like the sound of that. I was hoping for a new Chronicles of the Sword mode, but I have a feeling we'll just be getting a bland fighting game with only a few modes. *sigh*

I kind of feel like Namco doesn't really care about the series anymore.

They do, it's confirmed. I'm just worried it won't be that good if they're rushing the game out.

Usually rushing in at the last minute is not a good idea, I'm a little scared of it but as long as they have the basis outlined and the design, the details will fill in easily

In case anyone hasn't seen it yet, here's the new trailer. It actually looks pretty cool. I just hope there are enough extras to make it a truly great game.

This is rather awesome, he fits the setting far better than the previous guest characters.

Edit: Oh, and Nightmare is back, and they also showed Xianghua's daughter, Leixia, who's replacing her, and a new guy in the top row shrouded in shadows.

she's somewhat annoying and the moves are too feminine if you want it to be a male with that weapon (it makes me laugh)
