My cat is cuddly when I really need it. I am REALLY glad I don't have to take him outside whenever he needed to go though.
That's always a plus. And you only have to clean a litterbox. >_<
Which can get gross. The kitten we rescued; holy crap. It was. . . well. He could drop a load bigger than any cat I've ever seen. And it smelled. Awful. |
I've had a cat like that! As long as they bury it, it's not bad, but when they don't...ugh. I had to go and cover it with litter myself if one of the other cats wasn't offended fast enough to do it themselves.
It was fine until I unearthed it. Good grief I was sorry I did.
I hate it when the big pee clumps break apart >< Those smell HORRIBLE if they've been sitting a day or two :/
Yuck. I wish the cat pan cleaned itself.
There are cat pans that clean themselves...but I question the cat's want to use something like that after it makes all that noise.
Toilets can make a lot of noise and we still use them.
Well yea, and vacuums. How many cats do you see who like those?
None. One thing they have in common with dogs.
Honestly, the automatic box cleaners scare me. I know they're supposed to have sensors and all, but what if it starts when a cat is IN the box?
I would probably laugh.
I wouldn't laugh if it scared the cat enough to start looking for other spots to go to the bathroom...
> .>
I'm dark humored. |
It's no problem Liosh :3
And I worked tonight.
And lo! Destruction of a mighty sort rained upon Staples, for it was filled with iniquity and unfairness.
I wish my Staples would be ripped a part by a tornado.
And then they'd have to keep paying you until they placed you somewhere else too -nod nod-
Would they? I didn't think they would have to.
I guess maybe they don't. Wishful thinking on my part >.>;
XD I don't think they'd pay me the five minutes I have to clock in before my shift if they could help it.
Good old retail...right?
I do hate it so.
There has to be some people who love retail...right? Maybe?
Maybe. But I have yet to find one.
You just haven't talked to any of the people near the top...like the CEO. But his job doesn't really count as "retail"...hmm...
Yeah, he's more a business man.
I'm sure he still loves the money part of retail...his paycheck anyways.
Most likely. I love my paycheck. Until it's gone. Then I cry. Like the sky is.
My parents live in Connecticut and they lost power, though everything else seems fine. How's the storm where you are, Liosh?
Okay. It was mostly rain.
I'm glad you were safe Liosh, even if your day was tiring.
XD
Even though I had one class today, I can see problems coming my way. My shift doesn't end until 10:30 tonight. I HAVE to be out by 11 because of the 6 hour rule. I doubt I'll be out. |
If your shift ends at 10:30, don't they have to let you go? Or is it the silly "stay until we're done" crap that retail likes to pull?
Stay until you're done kind of work.
At the first Wal-Mart I worked at, I had to do that. Only problem was, when they scheduled me for 40 hours one week, and I ended up with 44 hours, they yelled at me. I told them if they won't let me leave when my shift is over, they have to pay me overtime...
I hate when they do that crap.
I just don't understand the "Don't clock in late, don't clock out early...don't go over your hours." Unless they want you to leave your area early and hover by the timeclock?
Exactly! You're not leaving early, you're just waiting to leave on time.
Like us, they expect you to clock in 5 before your shift, it's not mandatory, but they'd like you to be there. So if your shift is at 1, and you are there at 12:55 you're good. But if you walk in and clock in at 1, they ask why you're late. |
