My cat is cuddly when I really need it. I am REALLY glad I don't have to take him outside whenever he needed to go though.

Lioshika 08-26-2011 12:51 AM

That's always a plus. And you only have to clean a litterbox. >_<
Which can get gross. The kitten we rescued; holy crap. It was. . . well. He could drop a load bigger than any cat I've ever seen. And it smelled. Awful.

Serra Britt 08-26-2011 10:46 AM

I've had a cat like that! As long as they bury it, it's not bad, but when they don't...ugh. I had to go and cover it with litter myself if one of the other cats wasn't offended fast enough to do it themselves.

Lioshika 08-26-2011 11:42 AM

It was fine until I unearthed it. Good grief I was sorry I did.

Serra Britt 08-26-2011 01:25 PM

I hate it when the big pee clumps break apart >< Those smell HORRIBLE if they've been sitting a day or two :/

Lioshika 08-26-2011 08:58 PM

Yuck. I wish the cat pan cleaned itself.

Serra Britt 08-26-2011 10:50 PM

There are cat pans that clean themselves...but I question the cat's want to use something like that after it makes all that noise.

Lioshika 08-26-2011 10:54 PM

Toilets can make a lot of noise and we still use them.

Serra Britt 08-26-2011 10:58 PM

Well yea, and vacuums. How many cats do you see who like those?

Lioshika 08-26-2011 11:02 PM

None. One thing they have in common with dogs.

Serra Britt 08-26-2011 11:07 PM

Honestly, the automatic box cleaners scare me. I know they're supposed to have sensors and all, but what if it starts when a cat is IN the box?

Lioshika 08-26-2011 11:09 PM

I would probably laugh.

Serra Britt 08-26-2011 11:12 PM

I wouldn't laugh if it scared the cat enough to start looking for other spots to go to the bathroom...

Lioshika 08-27-2011 11:20 PM

> .>
I'm dark humored.

Serra Britt 08-27-2011 11:21 PM

It's no problem Liosh :3

Lioshika 08-27-2011 11:29 PM

And I worked tonight.

Serra Britt 08-27-2011 11:33 PM

And lo! Destruction of a mighty sort rained upon Staples, for it was filled with iniquity and unfairness.

Lioshika 08-27-2011 11:36 PM

I wish my Staples would be ripped a part by a tornado.

Serra Britt 08-27-2011 11:38 PM

And then they'd have to keep paying you until they placed you somewhere else too -nod nod-

Lioshika 08-27-2011 11:39 PM

Would they? I didn't think they would have to.

Serra Britt 08-27-2011 11:46 PM

I guess maybe they don't. Wishful thinking on my part >.>;

Lioshika 08-27-2011 11:54 PM

XD I don't think they'd pay me the five minutes I have to clock in before my shift if they could help it.

Serra Britt 08-28-2011 02:08 AM

Good old retail...right?

Lioshika 08-28-2011 02:09 AM

I do hate it so.

Serra Britt 08-28-2011 02:11 AM

There has to be some people who love retail...right? Maybe?

Lioshika 08-28-2011 02:12 AM

Maybe. But I have yet to find one.

Serra Britt 08-28-2011 02:15 AM

You just haven't talked to any of the people near the top...like the CEO. But his job doesn't really count as "retail"...hmm...

Lioshika 08-28-2011 02:18 AM

Yeah, he's more a business man.

Serra Britt 08-28-2011 02:20 AM

I'm sure he still loves the money part of retail...his paycheck anyways.

Lioshika 08-28-2011 01:18 PM

Most likely. I love my paycheck. Until it's gone. Then I cry. Like the sky is.

Serra Britt 08-28-2011 06:08 PM

My parents live in Connecticut and they lost power, though everything else seems fine. How's the storm where you are, Liosh?

Lioshika 08-28-2011 08:22 PM

Okay. It was mostly rain.

Serra Britt 08-29-2011 12:47 AM

I'm glad you were safe Liosh, even if your day was tiring.

Lioshika 08-29-2011 12:44 PM

XD

Even though I had one class today, I can see problems coming my way. My shift doesn't end until 10:30 tonight. I HAVE to be out by 11 because of the 6 hour rule. I doubt I'll be out.

Serra Britt 08-29-2011 06:45 PM

If your shift ends at 10:30, don't they have to let you go? Or is it the silly "stay until we're done" crap that retail likes to pull?

Lioshika 08-29-2011 11:08 PM

Stay until you're done kind of work.

Serra Britt 08-29-2011 11:12 PM

At the first Wal-Mart I worked at, I had to do that. Only problem was, when they scheduled me for 40 hours one week, and I ended up with 44 hours, they yelled at me. I told them if they won't let me leave when my shift is over, they have to pay me overtime...

Lioshika 08-30-2011 01:17 AM

I hate when they do that crap.

Serra Britt 08-30-2011 01:19 AM

I just don't understand the "Don't clock in late, don't clock out early...don't go over your hours." Unless they want you to leave your area early and hover by the timeclock?

Lioshika 08-30-2011 01:31 AM

Exactly! You're not leaving early, you're just waiting to leave on time.
Like us, they expect you to clock in 5 before your shift, it's not mandatory, but they'd like you to be there. So if your shift is at 1, and you are there at 12:55 you're good. But if you walk in and clock in at 1, they ask why you're late.
