I've had my desk since middle school so it's like 10 years old oTL

We don't buy new furniture unless the old one is broken beyond repair, most of my furniture in my apartment are from someone else, mostly from my mom's place then a family friend gave me his couch

I tend to fall asleep on it. xD

I don't really fall asleep on it but I do relax my back on it

well it has drawers so nothing out of that ordinary, but I do have a dresser/entertainment center next to my desk

Maybe it's the type of wood used that makes me think that, I dunno. lol

I've got a few Decepticons staring me in the face on a shelf that's behind my laptop. I've also got my Xbox 360, games for it, and I also keep my wallet and keys and all those things nearby.
I sit in this one spot pretty much all day when I'm not at work : P

What I have on my desk.

Okay to start it off: The two books are Hannu Rajaniemi's "The Quantum Thief" and Michael Crichton's "Pirate Latitudes"

Thats my complete VHS collection of the Guyver on top of the books with the 2nd Guyver movie "Dark Hero" and then my treasure chest on top of that. If you look closely you can see the key.

Next to the books and VHS tapes are my Games and my CD case and UMD cases > u<

PC games include yet not limited to: Jade Empire special edition, Fantasy RPG action pack... Which I forget what games are in it o .o... Universe At War, Rogue Warrior, Phantasy Star Universe, Star Wars: The sith Lords, Star Wars: The best of PC, Call of Duty World at War collector's Edition, Just Cause 2, Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, Singularity, Dragon Age 2. I have somewheres around 200+ games on my pc. I have every N64 game on here which makes the bulk of my collection o .o

The loose stuff include my spy glass, which works rather well for bird watching = u=... That bottle is actually after shave called "Captain's Pride" and has a ship on it so I don't use it XD ... Theres my Psp and my crapy little TracFone. My compass and if you look by the after shave you can see this little gray box. That Has my Old school pocket watch = u= b... There are my two lucky zippo lighter. You really don't want to know why they are lucky... And there is that creepy frog thing my mom got me... No Idea what its for or anything... Its just there... Starring at me... > .>... OH there is also my Epic dragon incense burner > u<. You put the stick inside of it and the smoke comes out of its mouth~

Other things around or in my desk


My epic leather chair I've had for over a decade. It needs some TLC but it doesn't complain. Comfy as hell though. And then there is my giant DVD case on the floor. After I went through a flood I ended up putting all my Anime and other Movies in there.

Anime includes: Complete collection of Ranma 1/2 including all the movies ( don't you judge me > .> ) , Street Fighter, Samurai Deeper Kyo, Outlaw Star, Shadow Skill, Samurai 7, Tenchi Muyo GXP, Glass Fleet, Gungrave, Teknoman, Mobile Suit Gundam The 08th MS Team, Nuku Nuku, Bakki the Grappler, Orphen, Orphen Revenge, The Slayers, The Slayers Next, The Slayers Try, Martian Successor Nadesico, and there are some loose anime discs in there too but I only posted what I have a complete collection of. Also have some other anime movies as well o .o

And then theres my two desk drawers... Go ahead and look whats there. I have nothing to hide. Well there is my underwear and sock drawer but that's the bottom drawer on my desk and you all don't get to see it >:V

And that's about it XD

As far as writing goes I use my laptop which is next to my bed. Sometimes when I'm trying to go to sleep I get an idea so I usually always have it on and ready > u<

What is that a map of? The only big map I have (not picture in mine) is the Inner Sea map for the Pathfinder RPG setting.

And I have all sorts of posters and such but this was the only one I was allowed to keep up because of my land lords.

I have to keep my desk clean. I have the Internet modem, wireless router, and DirectTV router on my desk. Plus my Tower has 6 fan vents that gather hair and dust like crazy, so I'm always cleaning it.

Omg.. I know what you mean about the tower. I'm always worried about air flow around it too.

I have one fan on the mother board and one right on top of the tower case sucking air in then I have two fans on the back sucking air in and blowing it out ( do to fan controls = u= b )

And then there are the two on the side sucking air in.

All in all I only have one exhaust fan...

Oh hell I forgot about the power supply fan :V

I happen to have one of those "How to draw" books... Let me explain O .O

First I was 10 years old and I loved to draw comics. But I want to learn how to draw other things. It so happened the there was a yard sale going on down the block from where I used to live and I bought a "How to draw Comics" book o .o... I can't draw anymore but I still hold onto the book because of the memories n .n

I think one of the internal fans died in mine, so I have an external fan up against it at the moment.

One of my fans is starting to make odd noises on start up. But it goes away after its fully powered. Maybe to many fans going at once or it needs to be cleaned -shrugs- I'll have to find an air can to clean it out right. My tower is just so demanding sometimes. One Me and my best-friend were putting it together it shocked the shit out of me a few times. Even had an issue with some of the wires in there because I hadn't put in the DVD drive yet and one of the links hit the wall of the tower and it shorted out. I'm just glad I dished out the extra money for parts that are none for their shock absorption. Although I don't know their names XD

I know how to put a computer together but for the love of all that is holy I can't remember the part names > .<

But it is a beast in its own right. And can install any game and play it on either high or max graphics. Although some of my games can't handle the pure power of the graphics and freak out and shut down XD

My N64 emulator hates it too but I don't mind that. I don't have a controller for my computer yet and its a pain to try and play N64 games with just the key board.

But anyways I go to great lengths to protect my monitor and tower. If you look at the pictures. The thing my Monitor is siting on is a Surge Slayer. A 10 year old surge protector that can handle pretty much anything, anything but a emp burst...

And then I have all my loose electronics plugged into another surge protector. Each surge protector is on a different circuit as well.

I pull no punches for my computer. Hell its only a year old and it cost me a pretty penny to build... well... 600 dollars to buy all the parts anyways. But still at the time it was a months pay check...

I'm surprised you haven't commented on anything other then the organization of my desk and the guild wars art book XD

I didn't notice the condom the first time. *shrugs* It's normal, there are condoms in my drawers too.

That condom was given to me by my ..."Gay" friend... I swear I'm not sure if I can use that word... Anyways he went to this breast cancer rally thing with his Girlfriend and he gave me it. He meant it as a joke but I still keep it in the drawer all the same. Better to have it and use it then to not have it and regret it. Anyways there are all sorts of things in my drawers... Mostly all my 'private' stuff is in the bottom drawer with all my underwear and socks.

I feel like I'm looking at one of those "Spot the item" puzzle games when I look at my drawers in the picture XD

Mine used to be the same way. I also have my treasure chest that will forever be locked up. All my valuable stuff is in there. Not sure why Guyver is on my desk to be honest. But I did use to have more stuff on my desk. Namely standing speakers. I got a new Monitor not to long ago with speakers on it... Same amount of cords but less clutter.

My condoms are in the bedroom and in my plushie panda 0-0
