I've been playing the first Borderlands a lot lately as well~ Gotta love that scorpion turret XD

Not sure if I'll get the second one right as it get released though. I might wait a bit after its already out before I get a copy for my PS3

i might start playing borderlands on my xbox again so i can beat it again before the new one

One of my goals was to get all of the achievements in Borderlands before 2 came out, but without internet, I can't access the DLC and therefore all of my guns are pretty much gone. :I It's pretty goddamn irritating.

I may have found a fix for it, but we'll see.


Also, question - is it only $5 to preorder the Ultimate Loot Chest as well? I actually thought you'd have to drop more than that on it.

OMG THIS GAME IS SO ADDICTING... My friend and i are already lv 15 and we only played about a few hours into the game... and its so fun...

I just ordered a copy for myself and my hubby. It'll be on steam in 9 hours.

I cant decide if i want the pc version, for an overall better experience, or the PS3 version for multiplayer with friends...

Play with friends... its more fun

got it on PC.. i wont have the time for much multiplayer with my new job. so id rather have the better visuals and the options for both keyboard/mouse and xbox controller.

Got the game the day it was released, after playing the first one with all the add ons, how could I resist, I had to preorder!

I'm actually really happy with this 2nd one, usually the 2nd releases never quite compare to the original for me. But I feel they really added on to what the original had missing. And the cars are way easier to get in quickly which makes me happy when I'm trying not to die, course I miss the lock on feature, but so far the pros by far outweigh the cons. :3

This time around tho I've started with the assassin, the previous BL I started with Lilith, then assassin. After having played Skyrim and Darksiders 2, which both were riddled with glitches for me, it is refreshing that this game runs so smoothly, and glitch free! *knocks on wood* Which makes me love the game developers that much more.

The only small complain i have about the game is that it's so incredibly similar to the first. there's nothing that really makes it stand out from the original, and nothing that makes it seem like a second game, rather than an expansion. everything is improved on, but nothing is new.

most the mechanics are the same, most the enemies are similar, the visuals are only slightly better and so on. it's an amazing game, don't get me wrong, but i expected a bit more from it..

But there is more wub wub

I can most definitely see where you are with the whole similar to the last game. I had the same issue when I first started the game. But aren't they on the same planet as it's predecessor? So it kinda makes sense that everything is similar. And with first person shooters there is always going to be the usual I'm gonna kill you bad guy storyline. At least they went forward instead of backwards like most 2nd releases.

I am a bit twerked with the gold key box though, I didn't realize it when I first got to sanctuary and I unlocked it with my only key. :( There should have been a giant, hey you sure about this. Like in your face giant.

Also finally got to the TMNT reference, I giggled the whole time. XD I stole back my pizza after I showed them whats up.

i think my main issue with things be too similar with the first game was actually the characters. they're new people, but pretty much the same for classes. it feels like they're just re-skins of the older characters.

Ducky - Yeah they are the same four basically. I've only played with the assassin, and his special is Lilith's from the past game. I will probably play with the gunzerker next because i'm pretty sure you can dual wield with him. Oh yeah!

I haven't been able to play in days, it's hard to get the bf to stop playing his video games so I can play mine. We need another nice tv, the one in the bedroom is too small can't even read the gun stats on it.

Sooo, people are still playing this I hope? I finally got to try it since my roommate picked up his copy. I think I might have to buy it for myself just because I'd prefer to have a PS3 one...except I got completely addicted to the Mechromancer and I'll have to pay extra for her since I didn't preorder ^^;

Lol well I have yet to try her... but I like zero, gunzerker, Maya, and axton in that order

I'm not that good at first person shooters so Deathtrap is a nice crutch for me. I haven't tried any of the others yet.

So close to beating true vault Hunter mode...
