I listen to the marylin Manson version. It's rather cool and dark

Night Fury 09-12-2012 09:53 AM

actually that is the version that is on the CD she has =p

Oh I love that song. It pops into my head a fair bit.

We have been so busy we probably won't do much for halloween this year except argue about who has to get the door when the kids arrive. Maybe I'll see if I can head out with my neice trick or treating instead. She seems conent never to go too far, unlike my sister and I and our friend who went trick or treating with pillowcases instead of bags. We had a reputation for handing out good candy too, since we lived at the top of a really steep hill and naturally we had to make the climb worth it!

Maybe my niece will have a costume party or something for her birthday on the 29th. Suppose I could have another tea party. ;).

"In this town
we call home
everyone here sing the pumpkin song..."

Ashy 09-13-2012 04:44 AM

assassin's creed 3 comes out on halloween here :P

Quiet Man Cometh 09-13-2012 04:49 AM

I got a halloween card for my friend in Aus last year that I forgot to send. Maybe I can get around to it this year. I got it for the reason that it's not that big over there.

Lestrade 09-14-2012 03:39 PM

My work has some new fall drinks... a hot apple cider and a maple pecan latte. I don't really like pecans so I'm not sure about the second one but ohhhhh hot apple cider is one of the best things in the world <3

Starzel 09-15-2012 03:14 AM

I've been telling myself that I would stop trick or treating, but I always seem to keep going one more year. My friends and I really enjoy it, we all get nice costumes and everything. We had a little song last year, it got us a ton of candy. I'm excited because I want to be Sherlock this year.

momo the peachy 09-15-2012 08:20 AM

I like Halloween. But unless things around here have changed, I wouldn't be getting your hopes up for an event any time soon. Although, nothing stopping users from creating their own event, that would be pretty awesome. Me, I will be hosting an event in another site.

Belial 09-15-2012 09:29 AM

I went into the stores today, they have Christmas stuff out already, omg.

I have to be patient though, all that adorable halloween swag will be on sale soon. I saw this pair of candy corn candle holders that were so cute.I hope they are still available if I wait.

I don't even like eating candy corn, it's grainy and too sweet but I love the look of it.

An event on Trisphee hasn't occurred to me, but we do have some spiffy items that can be perfect for halloween for those who want one.

I just got the impression Trisphee has it's own original holidays you can't find anywhere else, Like fine chocolates in a store you have to drive to some other state even.

But totally worth it.

Night Fury 09-15-2012 09:55 AM

oh wow christmas stuff already, they keep trying to get money sooner for things... got to check stores around here now to see if that's here too, was last year...

zooms around waiting for Trisphee events

Lestrade 09-15-2012 12:43 PM

I'm kind of old *cough30cough* but I went trick-or-treating all through high school. I still love wearing costumes, and luckily I have friends that do too. Our house is in kind of a weird location so we never get many trick-or-treaters so I'm glad I have a party I can go to.

Aiko 09-15-2012 12:55 PM

I am still so insanely jealous that you people have Halloween >O<
All we have in this country is a few people doing private parties, no fun or traditions >:

Batty 09-15-2012 01:21 PM

I'LL STEAL YOU, AIKO!
AND WE'LL HAVE LOTS OF FUN!

Lestrade 09-15-2012 01:43 PM

Private parties aren't fun?

YourLuckyKeyblade 09-15-2012 02:51 PM

>.> I still Trick or Treat with my nephews and help them get candy. I don't like coffee so I don't usually wait for the spiced coffees or anything. We don't put out any decorations since I live out in the country. :/

Lestrade 09-15-2012 10:05 PM

You can put decorations out anyway if you like looking at them yourself!

Lioshika 09-15-2012 11:47 PM

I don't celebrate it anymore.

Yokuutsu 09-16-2012 01:20 AM

I don't do anything for Halloween anymore. My favorite holiday has finally been ruined for me...and it was the only holiday I liked. It's over for me and holidays.

Cheshiresneer 09-16-2012 04:15 AM

I really hope the moving company gets my stuff out here before Halloween, I don't have any decorations or anything to even make decorations :'(

Kira Bella 09-16-2012 05:36 AM

I have to get some candy corn every year, no excuses. Even if I have tooth pain like last year xD One small bag a year gets me threw the madness.

Why is that?

Cheshiresneer 09-16-2012 11:22 PM

I honestly couldn't imagine not celebrating it anymore...heck I want to get married in October :)

Pathosis 09-19-2012 04:29 AM

Oh, man, I'm gonna be one of those people that go all out for Halloween once I'm older.
I love it. So much.
I'm too old to get away with trick or treating, but I go to a Halloween party every year.
This year, I'm hoping to go as a viking.
It's all relying on me getting 50 bucks and paying my friend Jenna to order it in time.
If all else fails, then I have no idea what to be...I'll have to dig up something.

I want pumpkin pie, candy apples, and apple crisp. <3 Mmmmmmm.

Tiva 09-19-2012 11:14 AM

... purple christmas lights! *dances* I got two strings that i plan on wrapping around the posts at the house. But I am afraid I may have to work Halloween, which would really suck.

Lestrade 09-19-2012 11:46 AM

I actually don't have any plans ON Halloween. Maybe I'll go out trick-or-treating with my nephew though. He's 7 and has a brand-new baby brother so his parents probably wouldn't mind the help, heh.

Tiva 09-26-2012 09:42 PM

*is working on Halloween make up* I am having fun dealing with makeup layering well. I need to get a darker teal color to layer on bottom so the pattern work better.

Batty 09-26-2012 09:52 PM

I almost got that today... almost... -cries-

I got a miniature pumpkin with the CURLIEST STEM EVER though.

Lestrade 09-27-2012 09:49 PM

I put a couple decorations up already that I forgot I had = )

Belial 09-29-2012 08:03 PM

I bought my dog this bat toy, it has crinkly wings.

He loves it.

Glitch 09-29-2012 09:30 PM

I love Halloween, I love pumpkin, I never seem to get any pumpkin flavored stuff though.

Quiet Man Cometh 09-29-2012 09:55 PM

My niece is 11 so I might go out with her but I think her daddy likes the job. That usually means I'm stuck manning the door. My sister often does it but she has a baby now so might not be available. I think she should get the kid the ketchup packet costume. ;)

Belial 10-01-2012 10:32 PM

My kid says he is too old to go trick or treating, but I've seen tons of people older than him do it.

He's always been more serious than I am, personality wise. How can you not like free candy?

Lestrade 10-01-2012 10:48 PM

I went trick or treating my senior year of high school. I was 17 so I figured I was technically still a kid = )

Had a hot caramel apple cider the other day... I love fall!

Batty 10-02-2012 04:26 PM

I got three amazing freaking shirts yesterday <3 And today, I made four halloween bottle necklaces :3

IMAGES BELOW. BE JELLY.

Yus, my ugmo face is in one. xD;

Belial 10-02-2012 10:58 PM

You shush, you are not uggo at all.

And I like the T-shirts, very stylish!

Batty 10-02-2012 11:42 PM

Walmart, man. Walmart <3

Ever see a 21 year old woman nearly tackle a clothing stand?
-raises hand-

That was me. xDDD

YourLuckyKeyblade 10-03-2012 01:33 AM

o: Batty, I love those shirts and I'm so jelly of the necklace, it looks so cute <: You should sell them~

Belial 10-03-2012 04:46 PM

She so should! extra money is still money.
You know how many people on Etsy overprice things that don't even look cute like your stuff does?

Batty 10-03-2012 04:51 PM

I have an etsy, actually! <3 But I haven't made anything in awhile. I do a whole bunch of crafty things, they just don't sell very well.

Belial 10-03-2012 04:55 PM

Don't give up on it though, people just need to wade through the resellers and people who can't price properly to get to the good stuff.
